High Force & Glen Shiel are very good for that size of content... But their maps are not create-able on CM. Is there a file for them? Especially for Glen Shiel?

Strange. I do have maps for both tracks. I have no idea, if I have made them myself (with CM) or if they were included in the original download. Anyway: Here you have them.

I'll try that! I did also try enabling that with with my new CSP as well, and I've never tried it previously. Thanks!

Edit: This did indeed solve the problem. Thanks again.

@RMi_wood You may leave DXGI enabled, just untick the fullscreen box in settings->assetto corsa->video and enter your resolution below in the appropriate dialogue box (for example 1920x1080). I´ve been asking Ilja directly about that issue since I´ve faced it as well, could be a PITA not to have the alt-tab function working. He told me we should not let AC running in fullscreen mode any longer with DXGI enabled.

Nice job, thank you for that. As you can see at this on board from the circuit you are pretty close on the far terrain.

Next challenge to someone talented enough is to change the kerbs, as seen on the above video

Thanks to everyone involved to make this track more than just usable.

Do you use weather FX and SOL? Then the shadows are not directly pointing to the north as Monaco belongs to the Central European Time /CET=(UTC/GMT+1). The center of this time zone is the border between Poland and Germany at the river Oder. Only there the shadows are pointing directly to the north at 12:00 at winter time and at 13:00 at summer time. And Monaco lies much more west and the shadows are pointing directly to the north at about 12:30 at winter time and at 13:30 at summer time. Maybe you should test these times.
This does not explain the nearly 90-degree error, (but explains why the monaco_2017's shadows not pointing to exact north which is needless to say what I understand already.)

Taking a little break from my love of rally, I seem to have found a interest in 1970s and 1980s IMSA racing as of late. There are many many cars out there that raced during this period (and won), so the number of cars that can be done are many, However, I have noticed a couple that have not been done:

The is a Roush racing car that won quite a bit in 1983. Bobby Rahal was won of the drivers. These are why I find this a significant car in US racing history.

Another maybe not so famous:

I'll quote a website for this one:
"From that point on, the Mazda RX-7 would be the dominant force in IMSA GTU. From 1980-87, Mazda won eight consecutive GTU championships, breaking all sorts of records and unseating Porsche as the IMSA manufacturer with the most championships."

Just thought I would put these out there, I am sure this will be lost in the many pages here, but its here and maybe someone will feel the need to make it.

Thanks very much for these Jody. Much appreciated.

What a silly little wiper the Vortex has! It really needs to sweep all the way across to the right. No idea why RSS made it stop in the vertical position.

Man if you wanna race these cars so bad just hop on GTR2 lol (bar the RX7 IMSA which hasn't been done yet). I know the game is old (and does look dated) but it's better than porting the models to AC and have some truly bad results

download

Blender clip to show the difference between the two in terms of size.

inside ac TESTED THIS TIME, NO CLIPPING.

AC will ghost out the far plane unless your view settings are very far so probably pointless. but if you want both models.ini needs to look like this

Code:
[MODEL_0]
FILE=megara.kn5
POSITION=0,0,0
ROTATION=0,0,0

[MODEL_1]
FILE=terrain.kn5
POSITION=0,0,0
ROTATION=0,0,0

[MODEL_2]
FILE=farterrain.kn5
POSITION=0,0,0
ROTATION=0,0,0

simply delete model_2 section if you dont need the far terrain.

I know you're not the author, but still, are those kerbs legit? A whole car fits on them, lol.
And also the curve signs "boxes-things" are the size of a car.

I had this same issue with the GT Sport Super Formula template. I had to separate overlapping UV islands manually and resizing etc. in Blender and eventually I was able to create a template for that car which would be useful for making skins in the future.

If the overlapping isn't too bad you can separate stuff in the 3D view or the UV map with selection tools instead of unwrapping it completely.

Hi, I had the same issue. After modifying the map of textures how to convert again the fbx file tu kn5?
Or its possible to export the map to the current kn5 model?
Can you explain the process from the map modification to make it work on the model, please? I'm stuck there.

Many thanks.

Is RSS GTM Pack for AC and RSS GTN Pack for AC worth it ? :P

The only 70s - 80s car i know we currently got are the Group 5s by DRM, the 512 BBLM, 320 GTX, March M1 + V8, Green Wood vette, Dekon monza (2 variants), the mustang Cobra II (that's getting overhauled but there is a couple of them) and that's all I know so far

Hello all, how are you doing?

I got this new (or maybe old) Alpina B7 mod pack and it sounds good, looks cool and having good straight-line speed
upload_2021-1-8_0-38-39.png

HOWEVER, THE MAIN ISSUE WITH IT IS THE SIZE OF THE CAR

upload_2021-1-8_0-39-44.png

IT IS JUST TINY, as can be shown NEXT TO THE BRABUS 900 ROCKET (which is the s class)

upload_2021-1-8_0-41-58.png

AND IT IS AS BIG AS THE Kunos M4 lmao

Is anyone interested in fixing the car or making it better?

Here are the links I found the car:
