My point really is that (imo) it makes little sense to remove flags when they are sometimes there IRL and sometimes not. As you say: no way to replicate one on one perfect copy. Since the track has very little "life", I feel the flags add at least something... ☺️

Edit: @ApexVGear as far as I checked a moment ago, all is still deleted. That text was from a while ago when he first deleted/reposted.
on the roof of the buildings there's 100 flags which are NEVER ever present in real life. That's why. Is not my fault if the author called everthing with the same name.

THEN:

In the ext_config there's the way to revert it as you like, where's the problem then? If you don't like, revert it. If you are able to do something better do it, as said i do what i can/know in my free time, is not a job, only a passion ☺️

up again! after a misunderstanding in which I was accused of having stolen the content of this track,
(which has just been reviewed and and where they say that the content is mine)
we can have it available again! thanks to all for the support!

again I thank the "Asociacion Argentina de Volantes" and "Vracer simuladores de competicion"
for the support in the development of the track that was made entirely from scratch,
Obviously we use some resources from kunos because the track is exclusive for their platform.

stay tuned for new releases we are developing with "SG" shifting gear.

I'm not sure I ever want to post anything on RD. When I see posts of someone that's picking apart every polygon and texture/material of a mod, that's ridiculous. One person in particular scours through everything, trying to prove that objects as insignificant as a shrub were copied from other mods. He's even referenced textures on the inside of buildings that no one can see. Someone is obsessed with being the "mod police."

Folks, I think I fixed the floating trees issue a while back. CrisT’s update doesn’t appear to have included the fix. From my recollection it is a piece of the landscape that is missing/hidden, which the trees would otherwise be standing on. Not currently at my rig, so can’t verify that the problem is identical, but have a look at the original fix :D

Did you used my ext or the one by Masscot (Don't know in depth what he did, if only the flags or not) because i don't remember floating grass (i've fixed all problems that the track has before a fix via ext_config), but i have to double check. For sure 3D fix is not a thing i can do (i don't know how to import the whole track in 3DSMax, when i did it in the past some stuff were ****ed up once exported again), if anyone knows a way to import in 3DS and export easily i would love to do it
The only change to your config was the one I noted, ie reactivating the flags.

I think the floating bushes need lowering in geometry.

I think is the problem I had which led to my recent request for an updated track - the whole environment map was missing so all the trees/vegetation etc were just floating in space.
@CrisT86 's update included this fix but there's a set of bushes that still float above the ground. These are the ones that need fixing.

let me know where these bushes are, so if tomorrow the wheather allow me to use my pc and play games (today was hot like at the door of hell) i will check and try to fix in 3D with 3DSMax

You can't miss them, they're everywhere around the perimeter of the track, in amongst the trees. They float about a metre or so above the ground.
It'd also be good to get this whole area properly textured with grass and long/wild GrassFX applied - at the moment it gets a flat and very blurry ground texture from the environment map, with still a lot of blue in it despite my efforts.

Not sure if this is the correct thread but I will try, does anyone know where to find the info for the "racemenu" in AC? I want to increase the size of the driver column but can't seem to find it within the folders... Alternatively, if you know how to do it, the solution is obviously also welcome but I'm fairly confident I will be able to do it if I just can find the folder/file with the code.

Looks like a html table, but seems thats integrated into AC, no template for that, so no way to widen that column.

I don't know exactly what happened, but it must be the same problem as always with the mods of tracks or Argentine categories, there is a team of moders that create "official and licensed content" for Rfactor and sell it according to them, you can't even make a skin of the Argentine categories for any game because they are the owners of the rights, they denounce all the content, they delete pages from social networks, etc. That's why for years there was no free Argentine content, today moders like H22 ask for permissions to create content and they get it, but these people come back with a thousand-year-old paper that says they are the owners of the rights and that everything is stolen. and almost every time as they have a signed paper they end up winning the complaints

GT Racing 3 uhhh i mean Assetto corsa Mobile has just been revealed on twitch eh not really digging it lol feels like a another generic mobile racer Racing Master,Project cars GO ect... The graphics are mediocre at best and there's no gas pedal button from what it seems? weird.
A tad bit disappointed with it.

More than likely you will be able to change the controls. Most likely it will have micro transactions which I hate but maybe this is an attempt to fund AC2?
 
no the problem of the shadow has not been corrected because I still do not know how to correct it today unfortunately ...
Thanks for your response. I'll take a look over the weekend and see if I can spot anything odd in KS Editor.
If you guys are talking about the same shadow problem that I'm thinking of on the Brabham BT62, then I may have a fixed KN5 for you. The shadow was extremely noticeable and ugly in replays, so about 4 months ago I threw it into Blender and KSEditor. I also straightened out various edges on the 3D model, so the body panels didn't look so "blob-ey". The car is now paintable via CM. The shadow probably isn't perfect but it's much better than before. See for yourselves.

Those new Koro F1 skins are great! I noticed the driver body is visible in game and parts of the helmet are still visible in first person so I edited the ext_config in each of the skins. The driver model can be found in the extra files at the top of https://perendinator.blogspot.com/
I'm sure most of you are beyond needing this info but there could be a few people as clueless as me so here it is.

If you guys are talking about the same shadow problem that I'm thinking of on the Brabham BT62, then I may have a fixed KN5 for you. The shadow was extremely noticeable and ugly in replays, so about 4 months ago I threw it into Blender and KSEditor. I also straightened out various edges on the 3D model, so the body panels didn't look so "blob-ey". The car is now paintable via CM. with all these assetto corsa mods have come to totally ridiculous situations .... it becomes heartbreaking in some cases ...
 
@racealot did you ever finish this update to Motul Kazan?

I really like the layout of this track but almost deleted it without checking as I'd given it one star... but that's because half of the environment is missing.
If you have a complete track with your new updates, would you mind uploading the whole thing please?

Hiya M, no further updates were done since original post of 21Jan2021 (link below)... Download link has today been reinstated with original content... Updates to track environment would require someone with further 3D modelling skills, if anyone else in this community wishes to undertake - happy to assist wherever I can. Recall getting some feedback with respect to the pit-wall /gantry having inaccurate details, but have left it as is for the time being...
