You sound oddly sarcastic Mr L :S Did you buy these?

The ASR mods are the only ones I've bought, all the other ones I have are free?

Are the ASR Mods still available as donate-ware? Where at? I just searched and found a few comments on an ASR blogspot thread that they shut it down due to too many people donating .01 euro. :dunce:

I asked about URD Ferruccio and Venom having 2 stages unlike all other cars, but no one answered me.
I noticed they got different wheel rims, is that the only difference between "STD" and "S1"?

STD is standard drive, stock version, and S1 is step 1 a little tune up, maybe suspension settings or a customizable transmisson.

412T2 is amazing too, you need to run it a Canada to replicate Alesi's only win '95.

Since mods are just folders with the data inside, wouldn't it technically be possible for someone to upload the folders of DLC cars and tracks and have people download them and install them as mods?

Not quite. There's no back-end involved so there's no place for them to really 'install' to. Now, if AC were ported to consoles with mods in mind a la Fallout 4, then it'd be a different story.

"Install" is a bad way to describe it. I mean it'll be part of the game like any mod would. By doing this, you'll bypass buying the DLC.

No, realizing where I am now (I thought I was in the console thread for some strange reason) it's nothing you said, the problem is how I consumed it.

Moving forward, without clearly giving an answer to a question that dances all too closely to the line, the simple answer is no.

Man...Taking 130R at Suzuka, flat out, must be such a rush in real life. I got tense watching you do it in a sim. I'm not very good with open-wheelers so I'm not sure I would have lived at the speed you were travelling. If I'm not mistaken, there was even a little slide right at the end your turn, right before it took back off like a rocket toward the final chicane. Geez Louise! :D

Fantastic track! You hear "Kunos quality" thrown around quite a bit about different tracks, but for this track it actually applies.
Agreed. I don't drive that track nearly enough. I struggle with it tremendously...so, I really should be on it working the kinks out of my awful driving on Paul Ricard. It's like, the flatness and how wide open it is, I miss turn in points, breaking points - you name it. For those who know how to drive Paul Richard very well, it's a pleasure watching your videos. Smooth driving on that track is a beautiful sight to see.

I have a problem with the millions of acres of paved run-off and the multiple layouts, sometimes makes it a bit confusing to get around. That's how it is in real life though, and the mod track quality is good, for some reason I don't get much joy from driving it though (mainly due to one turn). It's very good quality though, not complaining. :D

Edit: It's featured in a new AT&T advert with Res Bull.

300 SLR Uhlenhaut... WIP.

It's sort of old news, but it's the first I've seen of this. And as someone who really likes the 300 SLR, I'm still going to shamelessly post it here 6 months after it popped up. Apparently the mod should be finished this Summer... But if modding announcements are anything to go by, that doesn't mean much.

Yes, yes. I know that modding takes a long time,, but still.

The Virginia mod also might release soon. I'd show one of the many cool pictures that are in the thread, but they're gigantic, and I don't want to make the page really slow. I'll just leave a linky.

Wowzer!
Seven layouts fully functioning:
Full, North, South, Grand East, Grand West, Patriot & Patriot Reverse
33 grid spots (full course)
2016 Spec track with new kerbing, paving and sponsors
3D Grass
Accurate topology (recreated from technical data and tested by actual drivers)
Physical road mesh
Lots of trackside details
Extra cams by norbs
A ton of cool stuff to discover
