Great app! I'm using it in R3E, Automobilista, Project CARS, and now AC. I believe they are also working on an rF2 version. Racing without feels empty.

Updated to v10 tire model...great news. I drove both of these cars a year or so ago and liked them both. Good news indeed!

Yeah, they've been talking about it for quite a while, I had kinda given up hope that it was ever going to happen. Glad they finally got it done. 👍
 
You're a big fan of the Road America AC mod, @BrandonW77? I love it. For as much as I like it, I still kind of wish that the author would put some more time into it. It's not that I've found any disastrous holes in the road or anything catastrophic, but it doesn't feel finished to me. That probably has a lot to do with the fact there are so many incredible mods being produced, I'm just getting a little too judgmental. :lol:

Is there a proper track map included with Road America mod track? I can't remember - that might be another thing I'd like to see happen, for I have not a clue on how to create one.

I'm quite fond of it, think it's one of the better mod tracks. Certainly my favorite mod track but I just love that track in general, it's my vote for best road course in Murica. I've never noticed any issues with it or felt it was "unfinished" in any way. I believe there are two versions of it though so maybe we're using different ones. I never have the track map on so I don't know what the status of RA's track map is.
 
I have that app, @Whitestar. That creates a map of the entire circuit, so it's quite small - although I will admit it's useful. I actually keep both up on my screen often when I don't know a circuit inside and out. If you look at the left side of my screen in this video you'll see what I mean. The top map is created using the app you linked to and I find it to be very useful if a track isn't too complex.

You'll see underneath that thin lined map is a Kunos style map that is zoomed into you a considerable amount, showing just what's about to come up ahead of your car:



When it comes to the driving surface, Road America is just fantastic, Brandon... I love the layout. This is the type of circuit that I would kill for to be given a chance to drive in real life...like with a Vette or something with good power/torque. You can attain some serious speed on Road America. :mischievous:

Shader is a little broken on the rear bumper so sorry about that but I like it, hopefully can get some owners to help with a few measurements and sounds.
 
Maybe it's because I'm just poor white trash who will never be able to afford one due to all of these health issues I have, but if I were ever going to get a Porsche there is no way I would a convertible. Maybe if I were very wealthy and I owned an AMG Benz G-Class for the winter weather SUV, an M5 or equivalent for everyday driving and maybe I have a track car or something...then I could see maybe getting a convertible for summer driving at the Cape. I've always been this way. I know a lot of people go ga-ga for putting the top down, but I don't for some reason.

I never wanted a cabrio porsche either until i was hit by one. Instead of getting mad i just said drive me home in it, no one kidnaps someone in a porsche so we are fine there and he belted it so that was great but i imagine those cabrios get old fast especially when it cold aka 99% of the time in the UK. Joined his planetside 2 platoon for a year after that but then assetto corsa came out a took me away from the fps genre. I feel for you though, last year got a false positive on thyroid cancer in a blood mix up and man shook me real bad and i only had to deal with that fear for a month so huge respect to people with health problems.

That is definitely the funniest thing I've read in quite a while... :lol: I'm glad you're alright. Have you seen the reviews of the 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S with PDK Transmission? My God. 3.2s 0-60mph! They are an amazing car company. No question.

I feel for you though, last year got a false positive on thyroid cancer in a blood mix up and man shook me real bad and i only had to deal with that fear for a month so huge respect to people with health problems.

VIR is finally released? Oh that is so awesome!!! What's even more awesome is, I don't have a mother 🤬 wheel because I broke the 🤬 cable!!! :banghead: :mad: :banghead: :mad: :banghead: Maybe tonight will be the night that I find out I can control things with my mind? I'm going to try. Hope I don't stroke out. :lol:

Sucked though, I had to wait another year to get my driving license because of that. Anyways when you become the mind control overlord please dont hurt me, ill let you borrow my T300 for a few minutes I swear.
