Update: Due to request people wanted me to start using the RSS Vortex instead of the original. The two viper brothers are done, also I would like to know the font of the number plates, for now I'll just put these as place holders.

Sunset Peninsula Raceway - fictional track from Forza Motorsport

I have this track for a long time but it seems nobody is updating it and making it properly driveable. The track was published back in 2020 via this Youtube video (DL-link in the video description):

Unfortunately it is just a big freeroam area, but the entire track with all its layouts (and there are quite a few in Forza Motorsport 1, 2, 3 and 4) is driveable.

Can please somebody take care of this great track. Thank you so much.

I always did do the same collecting, and with the Alfa 33 from the 60’s its the most beautiful lined cars in AC. Its like art.
Only nowadays after a test drive in VR, I keep the car that is the best and deleting the lesser ones. Same about the tracks, I prefer to keep my car/track list in CM lean, as it did become to big for an decent overview.

Edit: keep in your mind I already did use the compression method, CM is providing.

hi , it's better imho to keep all the mods, and use the rating system in CM to indicate which are your favorite ones...
if you come across a server that has a version you have previously uninstalled , you wouldn't know that you already tried this mod and deleted it because there was something wrong with it. So you'd potentially re-download it only to see it's a lesser version (and you'd be tempted to download and try because it might just be that bit better then the one you already have ;)

On the other hand, then your content folder grows ridiculously large.
Mine is now approx 1TB for cars only. :(

It would be great if there were a tool in CM that could delete all files except the root folder and the ui info (notes and stars given).
Maybe an idea to pitch to the creator of CM (I'll email them at assettocorsaclub@gmail.com and ask :)).

A setup isn't going to help that car. There's so much in the data that is bad or doesn't work that the car needed to be completely reworked to be drivable. One example is the rear tires turning into lava by just driving the car around.
As a setup specialist, I hate to admit that there is a problem that can't be solved by tweaking the setup parameters, but you're right, this mod is hopelessly borked. But tell me, what do you think of crsh's other mod, in the zip named "ks_porsche_911_gt3_rs_crsh_spec"?

Sorry, Everyday update is again...

Ferrari 330 P4 Spyder (V1.1) by F40 LM Lover.

Somebugs are fixed.

Change Logs

1. Brake Lights & Tail Lights are working now.
2. Wobble effect of Exhaust Pipes without disapearing.
3. carpaint shader is changed.
4. Rim_Blurrs are fixed, Now you can find Califfers & Discs when car is running

Wiper Creeping issuse, Mascott mentioned is not fixed. I can't find solution.
I noticed when car is running at high speed, wiper can't sweep rain blurrs around Starting point because wiper speed is slower than rain blurrs(?)
In my opinion, this car's windsheild shape is too round that's why the rain drops move faster than wiper's sweeping at that point.

Who can solve this? plese let me know!

V1.1 link is here.

Search for Beast´s patreon page.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I basically try to do the following:

I would love to have a "garage" track, the Forza 7 Homespace is quite something like that.
I would like to go through that garage in VR and admire the cars in it.
The free walk mode from CSP unfortunately does not work in VR so I use F7, the free cam to move around which is not ideal though.
Also I have the problem that the Forza Homespace is way to dark in VR, and advice on how to get that brighter?

Maybe someone has another idea on how to achieve this VR garage thingie?

CM actually stores the ratings, notes, favorite status, ffb settings, cockpit position, distance driven and other stuff for each car in it's internal database/files so when you delete a mod and re-install it you'll notice if you had the car installed previously.

The car looks better than the original, but lacks real liveries.
There seems to be no way (at least I don't know one) to adapt the real liveries from the original model to this one ?

While I don't seem to have any issue with the wipers (tried at full speed at Le Mans in heavy rain), the exhaust doesn't wobble. It does produce some exhaust puff.

ah I didn't know ... thx! i think i will delete quite some mods then and regain some of my SSD space.

I thought it would not retain the info, esp since when you Disable and Enable a car, it's gone! (so i thought the same would certainly be when deleting and reinstalling, but indeed i tried it now and it retains when deleting)

Still i would not know on missing content of server, if i had it but deleted since too low quality, I'd have to download and install to know... so still it would be a great aditional feature to be able to "purge" cars in such manner (retaining folder, previews, and rating and notes, but getting rid of all large files like kn5 and dss files). Only thing is then CM would also need change the way they consider a car as being installed (in order for the Join button to enable only when all cars are available).

cool to see Assetto-land sharing my cars scratch made without asking my permission .... that guy is looking for troubles again !
Pardon my ignorance, but real question : why is it wrong, for you ?

Because, from my point of view, It's not like he (the website owner, or group) is making a ton of money on it, there's hardly any ads and he upload all on a mega, which they probably pay for. It's also participating in the main goal of a website like assettoland : regrouping the cars made for AC in one place, making it easier for users. On the other hand, your cars get to be dl a bit more than if it was by your own way only, it puts your modder's name and "brand" a bit further in the community's knowledge (a newcomer doesn't specifically know that you, or someone else, is making mods), and as your cars are encrypted (If I'm right, just not sure) it's not like anyone could modify it. And even if someone wants to, being on AL or anywhere else wont change a thing. So I don't understand why you (and that counts for every car/tracks modder) wouldn't want a "general and free" website like AL reposting your work. I'm actually curious about the reason

Yea for sure i am a new comer in AC mods 😅 ... reason is I do my car for my community which support me on a Patreon , I am not willing to share to this website and this person didnot ask my or any other person if we are agree ...

On this audi in particular 120 -140 hours spend , not counting others helping me out !

You would understand if you spend 100 s of hours creating content ...
In that case why all the paid mods are not on Assettoland too ? that is for the good of the community no ?

Again if you are just grabbing as much mods as you want , you will never understand my point of view there .
