Speaking of the Content Manager, I just found out there's a simulation value slider in the settings.I've kept it at 0% because I'm a filthy casual.
Is that the "tongue in cheek" simulation value setting Kunos put in a few updates ago as a poke at it's many detractors?Speaking of the Content Manager, I just found out there's a simulation value slider in the settings.I've kept it at 0% because I'm a filthy casual.

Aye. Don't tell me you aren't using Content Manager, Johnny? Oh man...It is life changing. At least, Assetto Corsa life... I'm not even joking. Is that the "tongue in cheek" simulation value setting Kunos put in a few updates ago as a poke at it's many detractors?
I really gotta get my ass in gear and install Good/Bad Weather. I've been downloading all of the updates with the intention of activating it and then I focus on something else and never get around to it. It's a very popular system mod, so that gives me a lot of confidence in it. Currently, I just use the 'Natural Graphics Mod' by Chris Kennedy. Although, I am only using his PP Filter 'Natural_Mod' but not the clouds (Ben Lee + WagnumPI Clouds) he includes in the package. It's a really nice PP Filter. Very soft, yet not dull and not overblown with too much saturation like a lot of PP Filters seem to do, in my opinion.I already managed to update the previews of mod cars with the content manager, so they align with Kunos thumbnails. Great tool indeed and i haven't explored half of it yet.
With regards to the cloud mod, get it. It's a set of weather selections (i think more than 10) that you can just select on the pre race summary. There's also a seperate PP filter that is installed with it, but i wouldn't use that as it makes things too dark during bad weather IMO. I kept using the 'natural' PP filter.
Clouds are a lot better and it seems the overall lighting has been tweaked also. When you select for the clouds to be broken, the light that falls through it at certain points is more realistic. He even has a weather option called 'November' which gives that typical misty atmosphere at the horizon.

Natural graphics mod also seems to make the track too dark during bad weather, but you can combine both i suppose. From what i saw with the G&BW mod installed it still looks pretty much the same.I really gotta get my ass in gear and install Good/Bad Weather. Yeah...I think I'll have to stop using the Natural_Mod PP Filter if I switch to Good&Bad Weather. That's not a huge loss, there are a ton of good PP Filters.Natural graphics mod also seems to make the track too dark during bad weather, but you can combine both i suppose. Ok...I thought it did, but wasn't 100% positive. Thank you for setting me straight. 👍G&BW has its own PP Filter. Any of you should try and compare against others. For its own weathers, the G&BW filter is the best, at least on my screen and eyes.
Last time I checked I actually preferred the Natural filter. But that was a while ago. Will check again. This is all very preferential though.G&BW has its own PP Filter. Do you remember which layout you were driving when you saw that? Hilarious...I know I haven't driven all 10 of them yet.So I drove the V1.1 of Virginia, and after a few laps came across an obstacle.

It makes me feel a lot less mental for thinking it was actually moving.

Actually, it's Miss Chanandler Bong.Wasn't even Chanandler Bong.
Would it be possible to mod the menu music? I've seen a thread on RD that concluded you can't really change it yourself, but how cool would it be to put GT menu music in there just like in the video above?
Any modder here that would know if it would be possible somehow?
I've been meaning to ask, what are the extras you get with the full version of CM?Ahhh I love Content Manager. That video is obviously from an older version. With the newer versions you can set a minimum & maximum AI strength %...also, Track Day is missing. I didn't watch the entire thing...but I can not speak highly enough about CM. It even loads combos faster!
So trying to race AI on the VIR 1.1. I notice they brake on the front straight when other AI cars are going into the pit, and also they slow down excessively when people exiting pit. Is that more of a behavior of the AI in general or is it a track specific issue?
SweetFX by itself alters the lighting i believe, for the G&B weather mod it's just a matter of pasting and merging it all in the root folder as i think it's already included in the package.Hey...I'm sure there are some people in here using the Good/Bad Weather mod. What the heck is SweetFX? To install, do I just drop all of the contents into the root Assetto Corsa folder? There is a .dll file and an .txt file that will end up in my root directory. Also, I'll have that SweetFX folder inside the root Assetto Corsa folder. Is that where it belongs? What the heck does it do?
