I think treble the same track by the same person just that one is a better version.

Hey guys,

I need some help in finding the Dubai Autodrome for AC. I have searched all the website that googled spit up
but dont seem to be able to find it.

Would be much appreciated if anyone can come up with a link or the track itself :)

Cheers

This was the 2nd result on Google. It looks like someone began the project and never did anything with it. There is a surface you can drive on, but that's it...no scenery or anything structures of any kind.

Click on the link in the first post for download if you're interested in having just the surface. It doesn't appear that any other Dubai projects are happening for AC at the moment.

thanks ! I saw that one too and tried it but not good enough unfortunately.

Guess Ill have to resort to pCars for that circuit.

Makes me wonder how come no one has created the Dubai Autodrome for AC ...

I know i'm saying a silly thing but the only bad thing about Assetto Corsa is the horrible external view, i was used to play with that view since forever... then Assetto Corsa 'forced' me to play in a different way cause of that. I got kind of used to it thanks mainly to the superb FFB on my wheel that made me smile everytime while driving.

I was wondering if someone has ever taken in consideration about modding that cam and made that view playable...

Anyway thanks people for letting me know about some serious cracking mod

External view? Do you mean the one that's like a camera on the front bumper, low to the ground? Or do you mean the camera that shows you a little bit of the cars hood? Or are you talking about the views behind the car?

With the PC version of the game you can technically move the view wherever you want it...angle it...pretty much unlimited positioning. And you can save different views with different cars, if you like different cameras with different types of cars or something.

Video is in Spanish, but nicely edited:
Skip to 06:00 for an extra customizable helmet visor mod. 👍
Which car is this? I only heard "Alain Prost" in there somewhere. :) Sorry, I'm not very knowlegdeable when it comes to F1 cars.

Highly recommended, ASR make the best F1 mods. They even included drivers faces, look at Jean:

Edit: And in other news, seems Lilski (creator of the excellent Riverside and Bridgehampton), is coming along nicely with his next project:

New Jersey Motorsports park. Shouldn't be too much work as there's not much surrounding scenery this time.

Check this track out! Pretty nice...

Shanghai Tianma Circuit -- Looks like some effort went into this thing.

I forgot who was working on Fuji...ever since the closing of the 3 mod forums I don't think he's posted any updates, but I hope he gets back to it. He was off to a brilliant start. I like that track a lot.

It was Malagoli. There is currently an alpha version in Race Department, but no updates for a long time. But you know this things take time, and he does it for fun. Really hope he releases a finished version sometime in the future.

Oh...by no means was I insinuating Malagoli should speed things up. I used to follow his Fuji thread on the official forums track mod section, but now I don't see him anymore. That happened with a lot of people when those 3 forums got shut down. Malagoli was off to a fantastic start with that track. He was really going for detail too. Thank you, as I had forgotten the name of the mod developer. 👍

Doesn't Tiago have a good Fuji out there?

It's nicely done, but it's quite small and has a lot of tight corners. Nothing the modder could do about that as he did an excellent job but it feels a bit like a kart track.

Talking about karts, any good mod out there?

Yes. I have it installed. It's good. He does a good job with his tracks. His Portimao is in my Top 5 favorite tracks.

Ya know...I posted that as I was downloading it -- just looked good to me based on the pics. I agree with everything you said. Crappy track for cars. I've already uninstalled it. Sorry. I should have edited my post. I don't have any karts installed. There's gotta be something out there that's decent.

Wiz
This was a decent kart mod but hasn't been updated in well over a year. http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/gokart.3589/
LOL! If you watch the video on RD there is this one shot, camera is shooting like its on the ground and you see the karts shoot into frame like they've all hit a little bump because a couple of wheels are off the ground. Well, three of them go shooting past. And then a few seconds go by and the fourth kart finally goes puttering by. That dude in the rear would be me if a kart race, I just know it. Oh, that made me laugh... 👍 :D

I can't imagine anyone is unfamiliar with these two tracks. Lilski really does some amazing freakin' work. The research he does for pre-production is outstanding. He doesn't jump into a project unless he knows he can jump in with both feet. I hope he keeps building tracks for the AC community for a long time - I'll certainly keep driving them. :D Anyway, I came across these two videos advertising the two tracks. I'll leave links to download, in case you don't happen to have either of these tracks installed. The dude who made these videos is quite talented too! 👍
