Got the full version of Content Manager Sunday morning. Installed and ran a practice session on newly installed Brno.
The session would not run. I suspect I did something wrong while looking through all the options/settings.

I hope I did not ruin my current load. I do have a system backup prior to "CM" install. So if I can not reset all the settings to default, I'll restore my save. The behavior was like what happens when your screen resolution is not set properly.
I do like what I've seen of it so far.

My guess would be a problem with the track? Did you try any other tracks? I don't think CM really permanently alters anything with your AC files because it's a standalone program, so probably no worries there. I tried to load up Lake Louise as a track day last week and it behaved as you described, apparently because there was no AI line on that version of the track I was loading. But when I tried with the Nords instead it loaded up fine. Other than that I've never had any issues (only been using it a month), just pick my car/track combo and hit "Go" in the lower right corner. I'd recommend trying with a Kunos car and track combo to see if things are behaving properly, if not we know it's likely a problem with the mod track, if the problem persists we know it's likely a problem with the CM install.

Thanks for responding Brandon. The track is completely new to me. Love Brno in PCars and jumped on it the moment I saw it for Assetto. I'm going to try it without the CM and see how it goes. Also, using any of the car and track mods presented in Assetto Club site. Are these rouge mods? Noticed this is a Russian site. They really don't care too much.

Likely. Generally if it's not on RaceDepartment consider it rogue/ripped. Let us know what happens when you try a Kunos car/track combo in CM. I don't recall having to do anything special to setup CM, just installed it and away I went. Haven't had many problems so far and I've only scratched the surface of what it can do so not sure how much help I will be, but @ALB123 knows it pretty well and might be able to lend some assistance. Might help to know what settings you were using too, was it practice/quick race/track day, if it was a race or track day were you using all mod content or all stock content, etc. My first guess is that it was due to something with the track, like not having AI lines, but that's my only guess because I've only encountered that problem once and it was with a mod track that didn't have AI lines.

I was able to get into Monza with no issues. The Brno track will not work even in native mode Assetto Corsa.
I will try it again using another car. I was using the Ferrari 488 GT3 car.
And yes, the CM is very smooth and seemingly trouble free. Thanks Brandon.
 
CM should be pretty hassle free. I've been fortunate and I've never had any issues with CM. If Brno wouldn't load at all, even when not using CM, it sounds like a problem with that particular track.
 
Does anyone know if there are any good Supercars mods out there, such as Holden Commodore, Ford Falcon etc?

I've tried it and it's actually pretty pleasing, not sure how accurate they are but they feel good and are fun to drive, it has the Ford, Holden, and Volvo. The exterior sounds will now be broken but you can replace them with Kunos sounds if you have Content Manager. Here's a video I made with them.

 
I've seen some quite varying AI performance, but I've never experienced that behavior before. Although, I know many who have. Personally, I think v1.7.x AI was the best so far. Something happened with v1.8, in my estimation, that caused them to act differently. I haven't done many races on v1.9 yet, but from what I've heard it's the same as v1.8. I'll run a race at VIR as soon as possible. Do you remember which layout you were using @RacingManiac?

I was using the full course. You really notice it when you exit the pit, if you have someone on the hot track coming behind you, especially like during practice or quali. They slow way down, won't pass you even as you are not up to speed exiting the pitlane, and they won't try to pass you until you are in the middle of turn 1. If you happen to be on a hot track, following an AI lets say, if it gets to the pit entrance and another AI is entering the pit, it'll slow down even though it wasn't following the other AI. Or if someone is exiting the pit it'll also slow down.

I was drafting one and just saw brake light and you are into the back of them.

Yeah, they still have moments of derp. I was doing a track day at the Nords last week and spent 2-3 miles watching a 488 and 918 drive politely behind a GT86 with no attempts at overtaking. Later in the lap I found a Yellowbird putting around behind a Levante, I gave the Levante a friendly shove as I went past and then the Yellowbird finally overtook it (and me). :indiff:
 
I tried to do a Track Day at Nordschleife Tourist the same day as Brandon...AI cars were smashing into each other left and right in the parking lot! It was pretty funny. :lol: I wonder what's going on for calculations in the AI code when stuff like that happens.

Has anyone successfully used the Nordschleife Tourist layout with AI drivers? Not one or two...but at least 10 or 15. Since you can't technically "race" that layout they need to severely slow down the spawning of AI cars so they can get onto the track without turning into a demolition derby. :lol:

Looking back I could swear I was able to get into Brno at least once. I'm going to delete and re-install the track.
Then test native and with Content Manager. Thanks ALB:tup:
 
Sorry for the double post but it's been a day. I can safely say that physics wise the XJ13 is one of the best car mods to be released for AC so far. And as a surplus the model looks great and the sounds are awesome.

Some car mods get close to Kunos grade physics, but dare i say it... this one might even surpass it.

This car was actually one of the better offerings in GT6. I don't remember if it was available in GT5.
I will grab this one ASAP. I really like the car.

Also, my issue with Content Manager and Brno. The track works when I select Race and Practice.
It will not function in the Race Weekend mode. I've not tried Track Day.

In fact I tried Sebring and the same thing happened. The car makes no difference.

And if you do plan on using Sebring, the AI is absurd.:odd:

Driving this car in VR is a treat, the attention to details and the sound are very enjoyable.
Oh...I can just imagine driving that thing with 360 degree view. I should be firing up AC in a few minutes. I've gotta take that thing out again. I'm going to have to play with some settings. The last time I drove it, I thought the cockpit looked a bit dark, but I think I may have been driving at the latest time setting and I think I might have been using a Good & Bad Weather choice that is pretty dreary.
 
Is that the NA MX5 mod? My game kept craving the other day when I tried to load can that car too.
 
Tried to load my (pure) Mazda Miata this morning, but it does not want to, anyone else with the same issue?
I cannot remember where the link is, as I guess I am going to have to redownload and re- install it.

The NA MX5 is now Kunos official content so the mod creators can't update it. You're going to have to wait for it to be released by Kunos in a future update.
