FINALLY!!

SEAT TOLEDO GT 24HR REPLICA SKIN IN 6K/4K/2K (for BE_MODDING), car link in download section

final version now in download section, wonky names and flags on right side window fixed and dunlop stickers now present that i missed


i have spent the best part of 140 hours on this skin in the last 9 days doing 16 hour days give or take, there are certain limitations i have with both my own personal skill (only my 4th skin) and the body of the car like for instance the light at the back should not be where it is but there is nothing i can do about it, tried painting it and putting the letters over and that was impossible to get to look good i also tried removing it through an ext_config but that did not work either. Also the "repsol" stickers on the top of the front bumper are not in exactly the correct position due to the map of the bumper, however it is not far off i have studies pics and got it as close as i can.

the car: its not the best its pretty low poly at 59k but it was a choice between that and claudio's and claudio's is a total mess and clealry a very old mod yes claudio's has skins but they look like there done on an atari 2600 they are utterly awful. So i chose the car from BE_MODDING as it was the best out the 2, I do understand picking between these 2 is like picking what sexually transmitted infection you want but hey its the only 2 we have in the game that i no of so i picked the "better one" and gave it a decent quality skin as there is literally none that i no of so why not

i get why people charge for skins now

in the download section as per usual

i will do a quick fantasy skin in the coming days aswell just so it has 2

Can anyone get the Pure landscape generator working?
I certainly can't.
I'm following the video but nothing appears.
I can move the skydome up and down fine, but no terrain ever appears.
@Peter Boese, another one for you to ponder along with the daytime headlights.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a track... It is Brands Hatch with the old Dingle Dell corner (60s-mid80s layout) it is not in the AC track list but mybe someone knows about a project for this one that is in the work... Same for 1979 and 1985 Zandvoort...

I apologise for asking quite often but the hope dies at the very end so maybe there is something.

I don't believe any historical version of Brands Hatch exists unfortunately:
Full course layout years of Brands Hatch, only the current version seems to exist. There's a '90s' Brands Hatch that I'm yet to try because for some reason my computer keeps blocking the download.

EDIT: I just worked out how to not have my computer block the download, but the link for it is now dead

For those who have been following or downloading my Michelin Le Mans Cup P3 skins, I have made some updates to a number of them as well as a few new skins. New is the #2 CD Sport Ligier, the #20 United Autosport as well as updated #22 & #23 and new #97 of Cool Racing to accompany the updated #87. These are for the fsr_ligia_jsp320 mod. These skins will simply overwrite any previous version.
I hope to clean up a few more skins in the near future. in the mean time, enjoy!

LMP3 is a class I would love to have but where do you find the cars? From what I can tell AC Friends is about the only place?

Nah the 90s Brands is just late 90s with the Graham Hill bend changed to the tighter corner. Looking it up, 1976 saw a change to the Paddock Hill Bend and Cooper Straight, 1988 was the chicane at Dingle Dell and the 1999 change was Graham Hill bend. So yes like Zandvoort a lot of versions that are missing.

I mean circuit Ain Diab would be funny, some more 50s F1 tracks but no way they will find its way to the game, but I said it about many old F1 circuits and I got most of them right now so... never say never

It doesn't work anyway. The car starts with the rear tires overheated and as soon as they start they explode (?). I recommend that you get the exmods (which is also a bit limited, since it only has 1 liter of fuel and runs out right away). Anyway, here is the link.

We both use a 1080ti, so wondering if it's a GPU issue?
CSP wipers originally wouldn't render properly on 10-series cards until Ilja eventually fixed it.
@Peter Boese (or anyone here) - know of anyone with a 1080ti who can use the landscape feature?
it worked after I installed.
verified:
Purchased and installed card on July 1, PURE v0.190 (first version with landscape feature) was downoaded by me on July 15 and was working... and suddenly stopped working one day.
 
I bought and played SiM DREAM's Ferrari 499P, but there is a problem with the internal view side window display.Is there a solution?

I mean.. that's essentially how it is now I guess. I've gotten a copy of that, and the chicane at Dingle Dell (which was still there until the 'current' layout came in 2003) isn't on this 90's version. It's basically the current layout (with 90s runoff).
 
I tried this. The fix is broken
The same thing happened to me, I got the original mod from Exmods, I copied the data folder from the Legion page and it didn't solve it. At the moment, the only way to drive this car is with the original Exmods mod, deactivating the fuel consumption.

When I have messed around with it, I noticed that if you save the track settings from pure config ( saves in assettocorsa/extension/config-ext/Pure/custom_track_adaptions/ ) this will take priority over anything put in a seperate ext_config. I think the [PURE] section is only read once so will conflict if in multiple places.

Might be not related to your issue 🤷

New video of my WIP project Maikita Roads. One lap on beautiful street roads located in Iceland with day-to-night setting. (more info and WIP access in video description)

Working hard on finishing the Modern Day Racing Series. 27 modern and known championships, over 250 races. I checked all links yesterday (over 400). One was indeed missing, some other stuff had to be add. There will be a beginner friendlily user manual with many solutions for common CSP bugs, so it will be a also a good source paper for pro users.

So here are the releases for today, two updates one important for FPS, the other for road mesh and some life in the air + finally the release of my PP filter with pure support.

RELEASE v3.0 of NEUTRAL PP-Filter

This post process filter is made for the best possible visuals by using the most neutral values for color, color temperature, saturation, brightness and contrast. I tested many filters and especially the contrast was always to intensive. Other problems were the saturation (too much or too less) or brightness.

This filter was made to get a optimal color gamut with the knowledge of a professional printer. You will especially see the difference to other filters if you are using a calibrated monitor. The Pure version was developed with friendly help by the Pure author Peter Boese.

This is the filter I'm using for all my track previews.


Features:
-neutral value for color (0.0)
-neutral value for contrast (1.0)
-neutral value for saturation (1.0)
-color temperature 4000 K (neutral white)
-no interrupting auto exposure (none Pure version)
-balanced brightness values created by using a calibrated monitor and checked using Photoshop auto levels
-slightly corrected gamma value for better color gamut of dark areas


Install guide:
Copy the two .ini files into this directory: YOUR-STEAMFOLDER\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters
In game open the "Post Process Filter" app and choose "Neutral" for none CSP, CSP, CSP + SOL and "Neutral (Pure)" if you also use Pure by Peter Boese.

Note for installing the Pure version: After changing the filter with the "Post Process Filter" app, please go out of the session to CM desktop and restart the race. Else it will be too dark!

The Pure pp filter was tested with v0.190 and v0.205 highres. There will be may changes of Pure in the future that will influence the quality of the filter. With this version it is not possible to set up monitor shaders correctly. They will be brighter instead of darker. If you have this error, deactivate the shader with the mirror app.

The Ligier which these skins are for is the fsr mod, First Studio Racing. You can Google their mods and site, I found it to be the best actual model compared to some other ones available. Also the template for skinning is very user friendly.

I wasn't aware of that, but it makes sense if that's where the model comes from.
