I'm pretty sure it is at 1.0
The doubt arose when I started creating the various animations in blender. The driver doesn't fit in the car and the doubt became even stronger when I compared the TVR with a 360 Modena... it seems tiny. Comparing the same two cars on GTR2 there doesn't seem to be that much difference.

Damn someone found Tsunoda's TVR.
 
Classic movie, race start scene, awesome.A time of "symphony of engines", and there was overtaking in Monaco, a time of racing cars, not today, when they are "walking locomotives"....
And the actual F1 and Le Mans cars are so ugly designs (in the real world) , you always think there something wrong with the AC settings.
I know everybody as a different taste but take a look at the beautiful art work of the Alfa 33 stradale or the Ferrari 330, compare this to the driving LM bricks. While I must admit the LM Peugeot 9x8 and the F1 2023 car designs are a small step in the right direction.

Ouch.. I hope there is a relatively easy workaround for this problem. That TVR looks really gorgeous
 
Where/what file do I edit in order to increase headlight brightness/reach. I'm racing the VRC lmp1 cars and some of the cars have really dull headlights. It's quite hard work with them even as the sun is going down. I've found the lights file in the data folder, do I edit that or mess about with the ext_config file?
 
I've not driven doublezero's Goria-Thun for a couple of years and had forgotten just how perfect it is for hot hatches.

Thanks for this, a couple of tracks I want to apply this to so that’s really handy.

A shame doublezero seems to have disappeared (or been recruited?), his Mount Tempus project previewed on YouTube looked an absolute stunner and his work got better and better over the years.

The release was scheduled between now and the 25th, but I think I have to postpone it because it is actually Tsunoda's TVR. I think I can solve it by the 31st, unfortunately this problem was not foreseen. I should have checked earlier, my bad. The work to be done technically shouldn't be very difficult since I can scale all the meshes together with blender, but I have to modify a few parameters (suspensions, aerodynamics, motec, light refraction etc...) to get it back on track.

Latest update anyway: lights on the doors added (if needed you can activate it via ext_config) and now the splitter can be all carbon or half carbon and half colored (like on the other chassis).



EDIT: Mystery of dimensions solved. The T400R is about the same size as a 360 GTC, just a little smaller. We are talking about 4.4m for the TVR and 4.5 for the 360 GTC in length, 1.8m versus 2.0m in width and 1.2m in height for both. By doing a scaling in blender it should now be correct. Obviously I consider a margin of error due to the possible inaccuracy of the model. So, for those who want to work on the GTR2 models, always check the scale and don't make my mistake.

I dont know if it work in the .ini file, but it does with ext_config, lights are R,G,B so after that you add a multiplier like R,G,B,3 for example.

I think I'll be able to get everything sorted out by the 31st, considering that some days I won't be able to work on it because I'm not at home. On the bright side, I haven't done any irreparable damage, I just need to fix everything accordingly (including animations that keep breaking) 😎

Frankly I was quite silly, I should have checked everything at the beginning. I'm sorry you have to wait 😞

Hi All. Just a quick question. The game crashes sometimes when I race at Le Mans the SX version. It happens when I exit
Virage du Tertre Rouge. Any ideas please. Is there anything in CM that enables you to check the track files. Many thanks.
