Since you are phenomena, I'll ask a quick question😜.
I'm using CSP 0.2.3 P1, is it worth the upgrade?
Apparently I have no problems, but the latest RSS auto is asking me to update😕.
I use pure 0.254.
Thank u so much!!!

Lola A1GP 2005 0.86 release. KJRacing81

Taken this as far as I can, I am sure it will be further improved by the community.

Skins included for both 2005 and 2006 seasons so skins folders are quite large.

Originally a GTR2 mod which was really low poly so I have fully replaced the wheels and the interior, saved the steering wheel by adding polys,
also added a PowerBoost light for visual cue of live activation
and lots of triangles to the chassis, separating textures etc,
all textures upscaled but could be better.

520 download link - https://mega.nz/file/f18QHAYT#Uginll7XYZUszTUHL6laEM6ckNP3mSlbPRj9sE6TXBE
520 model requires CSP extended physics for PowerBoost mode (extra 30 bhp).
Activation criteria -
Throttle above 80% and speed above 60 km/h
Auto-deactivates when throttle drops below 40%
8 uses per race
Map to extra A

550 download link - https://mega.nz/file/SoEEhQDD#LBRRiybouG2oXW4ed8BT02X49vbIJcITfBqgJ1A9wqI
550 model has no PowerBoost so does not need CSP extended physics.

Known issues - happy for anybody to update and I will re-release.
The below is either beyond my skill set or patience.
No animated suspension.
No 2007 skins.
lots of skins have dirt textures which need removing.
Better driver animation needed.
No lods although low triangles.
No cockpit_LR.
Better tyre textures.
Better skins.
and the list goes on :)

AddOn Layout GP with chicane
Just drop it in the folder with the track

remember to change the version numbers when you update a track, otherwise it creates confusion.

I was aware of an A1GP car model in one of the race driver / toca / grid games IIRC, always wanted A1GP in AC, as the series premise was rather clever, shame it does not exist anymore

can't wait to give this a drive

Is it always necessary to use a ppfilter? Or can Sol/Pure work perfectly on its own?
I saw @Peter Boese answer these exact questions, a few days ago.
Yes, and then, no. (You asked 2x questions).

Better answer on the second question:
Technically, yes (I've tried it). Practically, no, it will look like rubbish. Way too dark, way too flat.
Pure provides the tools, the PP filters specifies how they are used. How much on this setting, how much on that.
(Layman's explainer. My words, not Peter's.)

Hi all, just wanted to share a Pikes Peak Hill Climb skin (happening today irl - Watch here) I whipped up for the Kunos Cayman GT4. The real car was driven by Travis Pastrana in 2018 (and had a class win I believe)

Something quick and stupid I did for rt_sonoma. If you want to try it, copy the following text and paste it at the bottom of the track's ext_config file. Then extract the files from the attached .zip file. If you are updating from my previous version, overwrite anything it asks.

If you would prefer to display numbers instead of driver initials, go into the extension folder and delete or rename scoreboard.lua. Then rename scoreboard_numbers.lua to scoreboard.lua.

;;;;; SCOREBAORD DISPLAY STUFF ;;;;;

[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_...]
FILE = rt_sonoma.kn5
HIDE = scrtwr_002
INSERT = sonoma_display.kn5

yup around 59-60 fps well it's depend on the mod but overrall yes, and i use 0.2.3 csp.
Pure will run like that too. Maybe just deactivate it's heavier shader "sunblinding" and "groundfog" then. It's Skydomes will give you some fps back cause they are really light on the GPU and CPU.
It has also some tricks to make more fluent frame flow but less CPU usage.

Sorry but I'm not sure to understand what is your question exactly?

Made another Porsche Pikes Peak Skin, this time for the 911 GT3 R. One question though, seems all liveries for this car with custom tires, when actually on track, don't show up. If you do the regular preview capture, the custom tires show, but with csp preview capture, you can see the "real" tires. Is this something I could clean up in an ext_config file for the skin? And if so, anyone have any tips :) Thanks!

Also some power.luts for BOPing (599, 628, 639, 668hp) attached below. Unpack data folder, replace power.lut with one of these (renamed to power.lut). Repack the data.

RD version is older and has no exterior sound and download links on acstuff post are down. 1.2 version is the newest one.
EDIT: Found the latest version in depths of the internet, finally
Where did you find it? Do you still have it. I know it's old but I can't find it anywhere, version 1.2.
