trying to make my personalized license plate a bit better quality , I need some help guys

Although my Plate_D.dds and Plate_NM.dds contain transparent parts , in game they are not transparant
eg.

attached are the WIP plate files , I hope someone can have a look and give the golden tip
(and also with a Kunos Abarth 500 EsseEsse so I don't think it will be an issue with the car)

ps: I used GIMP and no compression

did you actually activate the blending in alpha mode? in CM showroom, click on the material and check the alpha status

Most of the time i discover new tracks just because you made a decent AI for it. This is the case again here 😂. Thanks for them, with a little boost of power with AI they make for excellent offline experience.

I've been trying to make new ai lines but they have flaws and usually don't transfer well from a class to another. Which car do you use to record them? I've seen your tutorial on RD but i always wondered if you had a specific lane recording car for vintage tracks.

Thanks again🤟

PS : rainmaker 's Dijon Prenois could be an excellent track for late 70s/ early 80s prototypes but the AI is way too slow, especially in the fast cornering parts. It's a short track, if you could have a look at it😎
Thanks! At first I was using vintage cars for vintage tracks, but since the AI line editor app dropped some months ago in a CSP update I have been using the same car for all and then polishing some corners radius while watching the specific cars I want lap it later. Nowadays Im using a homemade monster with modern BTCC car physics minus downforce and the Kunos F3 bodywork for better view, but any car thats planted to the track with minimal use of aero should work. And it has to be fast enough so you dont end up taking lines that are impossible for faster cars. Anything with TCR/BTCC/GT4 pace ballpark, little downforce and understeery behaviour should work. Back when I wrote the guide I was using the Audi Quattro touring car with good results although it sometimes did whatever
I should take a look at Dijon too.

I ran a few 1-on-1 races against the Darche 992 GT3-R 2023 v1.3 just released & swapped cars a few times. OOTB the Darche FFB is lighter and car is more responsive mid-corner to throttle inputs i.e. classic 911 'steering with the throttle' lift off = rotate/tuck the front in. I usually don't delve into detailed suspension but recently started using tyre buddy app to optimise PSI/camber/toe. These cars have a bewildering array of suspension tuning! I used the Darche settings as it was and matched the RSS set-up with what I could translate between the cars. The RSS now responded to lift-off throttle turn in, just like the Darche could enter the main straight (T14 Brno circuit) by regulating throttle rather than getting complete out of the throttle momentarily to keep on track. At first I was RSS all the way, even tho it was slower the FFB was heavier ergo perceived more realistic. But the communicative front end of the Darche's tyres was impressive. After the suspension tune they're very close.

Tested with Simucube1 20Nm Mige 22-bit encoder, CSP 0.2.6p1 output real steering forces ON, more physically accurate gyro, AC all Effects OFF.
I've finally ran a couple of sessions with both and purely from a driving/feeling perspective I personnaly think that the latest URD version is a notch above. The RSS Protech feels much more muted and a bit "too easy" to drive compated to the URD Darche, which I therefore find more fun as more challenging.

The RSS is still very good, don't get me wrong, but my preference goes to URD in this case.

So anyway guys, how does the RSS 992 GT3 compare to the URD one?
RSS will get more liveries than URD one but personally i prefer the URD one as the tires just feel like actual sticky slicks.
If anyone is concerned about liveries, there are (IMO) plenty of liveries for the URD version. I've got 34 liveries installed.

Did anybody see this machinery recently at overtake? fictional or not this thing is absolutely beautiful looking! (Note: I haven't tried it out myself yet.)

Yes, it looks and drives fine. So despite it being fictional I have kept it installed... :D

I remember reading something about on/off flickering/disappearing safety webbing in cars. I have this in one of the RSS Lanzos. Can anybody remember if there was a solution?

I've been running it at Sebring for a first drive test session with other GTP, LMP2 and GTD cars and it drives like it belongs in the line up. I like the modeling, it looks like a Mercedes, sound is good and if your not subtle you can lose the rear quite easily, so you have to drive it, not just float it around and I really prefer the challenge. It's going to keep me busy for the next while for sure.

Good evening.
Could anyone tell me if they have done any updates on the (TV Cameras - Targo Florio 1973).

If I'm not mistaken, there are still 2 stages left with these TV cameras (to see the performance as if it were a broadcast).

Thanks in advance!!!

I noticed in VR it's a crapshoot whether the safety netting is rendered on both sides at all and it only usually shows in one eye of my VR lenses so it's a distraction pretty bad. I thought it might be intentional so that my brain could process it but it not be in my way so I tested a few RSS cars and the ones I tested were wildly different with what shows and what doesn't depending on which eye I close. The new Protech p92 shows both nets with one eye and neither net with the other.

I had exactly the same problem with the webbing a couple of days ago with the GTM evo2 version plus i had lost all digital display on a VRC F NA 1999 cart. Could not fix with fresh install. I dialed back from the latest 0.2.5 csp to 0.2.4 and all is back to normal

I did wonder if it was a new CSP bug. Thanks.
Are people also seeing this in 2D, or is it just a VR issue?
