Boo, Yes, its petty, it was from the start.
Annyyywaayyys:lol:
The Grand Master of sound mods has blessed the URD Merc CLK. Which is good, it was hideous.
AND before I get jumped on again :nervous:, even Ales said the entire car modeling is getting redone too.

https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/urd-maures-egt1-mercedes-clk-gtr-97-sound-mod.30358/
so you are saying the entire CLK model is getting redone? I never knew it was "bad". I want them to finally release the F1 GTR Longtail!:bowdown:

Hey whoever asked about caster angle adjustments, i forgot to say last night, but i did some messing with caster angle in the physics files of a car to see if it even makes a difference, and it 100% absolutely does, like bigtime changes in steering wheel feel in my hands, from snappy shopping cart feeling and on the extreme opposite it felt like a chopper motorcycle steering where the wheel just wants to stay straight with everything it has. so i just wanted to confirm they did add caster, its just not accessible via tuning

I can 't find MK4 from Legion. this of fashion is available?
This version is not released, but it's the one from AC legend.
I've added scratch and damage textures from the original car.

Concerning the MKII I'm searching the Le Mans skins or at least a base skin to start them and make the maximum skins Daytona, Le Mans, Sebring. With some aero spec included

Update for everyone here who grabbed the Aston Martin AMR PRO by @megolito
It has been heavily reworked by Megolito with new tyres and physics including brake heat ranges with performance curves, front weight distribution correction, low end torque corrections and inertia corrections.
Also 4 new skins which I worked really hard on to get looking as good as I could with my limited knowledge of making skins. Includes Carbon Fibre spoiler, mirrors and rear panel.

Anyways here's some pics just because this beast is so good and deserves a download - the sound is fantastic too.

Grab version 2.0 here https://sharemods.com/0rtvopesyk2a/aston_martin_van_gt12_amr_V2.0.rar.html

EDIT: Skins are now correct so make sure you download the edited link as you won't have the lime green spoiler on the Stirling green version otherwise.

This is awesome!!!Thanks!!!

Does anyone know if SOL seasonal adjustments can be turned off or is the only solution changing the date? I would try it but I'm afraid to ruin what I have currently which is the A4S Assetto four Seasons mod with Deems track skins.

If you go to settings for CSP in content manager and go to weather fx....seasonal adjustments can be disabled. Presumably you can keep the date the same but not sure what this setting actually does lol

That's what I was thinking but this response threw me off. I wonder why he wouldn't of given the same solution.

It's called seasonal adjustments. With the track's light config, modders can change the look of the textures. So there are much tracks where seasons are realise. So now is wintertime and the modders try to get it look like snow or frost. To avoid this, just select a date in summer in the time-sub menu (3 dot right next to the time slider) in CM's Drive menu.

That is interesting as caster plays a part in how the weight of the wheel is generated, or at least it does in RF2.
This could be a way to get some more weight at lower speed corners in cars that need it.

No idea, Maybe he is trying to protect himself if you turn off Seasonal Adjustments and it breaks your A4S setup ;)

Ha it wasn't me asking the question though :lol:

I think Deems skins and AS4's lives were cut a little short perhaps because of SOL's release but I'm going to give SOL another shot. Hopefully the sun doesn't look like Mars anymore.

Update to highforce shaders config on the discord, fixes roadside 3d grass which finishes it for me.

Just change the file type to ini as it won't let me upload it as one.

Oh yeah lol. I see now that response was for a completely different topic/question lol.

Regards the ford anglia I just posted up.
I run 100% FFB at the control panel, so if you run 75% on he TX wheel then you'll most likely need to up the FFB mulit.

driver unlike the pic i just showed has now got a 1960's helmet on.
All the bits needed for skins is in the files, and things like colour changes to wheels etc should be easy with paint packages as dds.

It's not really a mod, its just for me a nice thing to use with TCL, but please anything that is utter crud just tell me and if anyone fancied sticking some proper wheels on it like ones found on the mini's then GREAT!!

Oh and in CM Showroom its still on its stilts till you click the box that alignes the suspension data stuff (not the technical term)

going in CM SHowroom, Car params, checking physic/suspension, will show any car caster angle.
right right, thats how im able to adjust it and see what im doing or els youde have to make adjustments blind, someone asked if you could adjust caster angle. and you cannot unless you unpack the data of a car and legit go into the suspension.ini and rewrite the suspension geometry. they wanted to know if it was possible to get that adjustment in tuning options, or if it was even calculated in assetto since there is no word of caster angle anywhere, not even in the physics files does the word caster angle come up. it ended up being in the strut/wishbone geometry options, the settings that dictate the shape/length of the suspensions

Sorry for double post mods, but wanted to reply quick to this question..

What am i doing wrong on mega? i assumed it was a folder?

What I'd do is package everything into a folder on your desktop (or wherever you want really) with the cars name and then just drag that into mega and upload it. Otherwise it splits everything up into separate things to download. Well it does for me anyways.

EDIT : Sorry I might have been getting confused. Create a folder then zip it up then drag that into mega - I've just realised you can just download it as a zip in mega as well lol. It's cause I use a download extension thing and it splits the stuff up into a million separate files unless I use Edge browser

So you are cool? You downloaded it?

This could be a way to get some more weight at lower speed corners in cars that need it.

The more positive caster you add, the more you have to hike up the outside wheel (that is, the weight of the front end) with the steering wheel, so the more effort it takes. Also, the more caster, the more negative camber you get in the outside road wheel, so--more or less--the more oversteer-y it gets.

it ended up being in the strut/wishbone geometry options, the settings that dictate the shape/length of the suspensions

Which one do you have to alter?
STRUT_CAR=0.25366, 0.54933, -0.04296
STRUT_TYRE=0.07174, -0.13710, 0.01213
WBCAR_BOTTOM_FRONT=0.40769, -0.10955, 0.01423
WBCAR_BOTTOM_REAR=0.40944, -0.12017, -0.27373
WBTYRE_BOTTOM=0.07174, -0.13710, 0.01213
WBCAR_STEER=0.50186, -0.03346, -0.19172
WBTYRE_STEER=0.10565, -0.03757, -0.12586

The more positive caster you add, the more you have to hike up the outside wheel

Aris, in his last youtube did a very good explanation of what caster is and do.

It's fine if you download as a zip. It's all in a folder that can be dragged into cars.
I'll put this puppy in with the rest and check it out in a few. I was having issues last night with the Game Crashing - Sounds might be broken BS last night and have no clue what that was about because I've been running this TC Legends pack with the cars I added all over the damn place. Always something.
