Well, it's a VGT car so pure fantasy, but supposedly grounded in reality. VGT cars tend to be high-speed downforce monsters though - the manufacturers involved want to make something futuristic and exciting to promote their brand.

I still think the best one of these was the GT by Citroen from a few years back. Now that actually looked like something that should have gone into production...I think they actually had a working one of those didn't they?

Anyone know anything about shifting animations?
Specifically why inverting the shifting hands almost always borks the animation rather than just doing what it says?
I've found a perfect sequential shifting animation for the BTTC Primera, but it's on a LHD car. Adding it to the RHD Primera and inverting the shifting hands in driver3D just makes the driver push his hand through the steering wheel like a drunk ghost.

Phil Hill said it wasn't much fun to drive irl. Only one gear forward (with a slushy torque converter). The 2J fan car probably would've been more fun, with it's huge downforce.

Early 70’s and this one 1972.

A long time ago, in the galaxy of rFactor, I skinned a lot this car (also like the Formula Nippon 2008).





The initial mod has been made by a french man (He made a Lola too) and I was a moderator on the forum where we downloaded it (and participated to the betas).

Very true, but in the case of no rain on the windshield, it is a CSP1.38 or .39 issue, going back to 1.35 will fix it, that is the last version with rain on the windshield. Until they get it fix in the future updates, that is.

Was there a solution to this problem in the description? It was - to switch to another version. I think my advice was relevant?

I run into a weird problem...While ac had loaded the track and i was in the screen where you either click the steering wheel to race or the spanner to setup the car,my cat sat on the keyboard.Now i can see the car from a weird angle.Replays are unwatchable.The view is 90 degrees tilted and i see some parts of the cars through the graphics.Is there a way to reset it?Thanks

I like his mods. I ditched another BTCC mod because I felt his were better. Shaun does amazing work, imo.
