It's so nice to see the illegitimate AC mod sellers stuff out in the wild. Serves them right, in my opinion. You want to charge money? Cool. Just make sure the work is all yours.

You can fix it by adding a secondary e-mail and then it works. At least it did for me. They need a two-way security in case your account gets hacked.
Hmm I thought I did, but I will definitely check to be sure. Thanks for the advice! 👍 And thanks for taking the time to post all of those links.

My God...When it rains it pours. Holy mods, Batman. Honestly, I think I have most of these F1 packs, but I'm going to keep them all together so I never have to second guess myself when big dumps like this occur. No matter how much cleaning up I do...The data just keeps flowing in. The current state of my server right now. I have a very big, expensive job ahead of me as none of this is RAID. 54TB at the moment. :boggled:

I'll tell ya...I never really cared for Fiorano. To me, it's so greatly overhyped. It's funny what spending a couple of hours on a track can do to alter your perception. I just had a blast tearing it up with Group C cars and old Ferrari open-wheel racers. :D

I have no issue with anybody wanting to charge a fee for a service, regardless of the origin, nature, amont of work involve of mod content. I have no issue with anybody getting that same service for free if they can.
Offer and demand always balance itself, the value is determined by demand and when somebody ask for too much they are opening the door for wanting to get it for free.
We are so very fortunate so many people are offering so much content for our favorite SIM, we need to be careful and take care of the people that are providing what we like to get.

I will agree at some point, especially for modders who do make their mods from scratch.
But people like ACFL, SimDream and RTM who rip and steal from others (modders, Forza Motorsport, rFactor, GTR etc.). Claim that they made them and charge a ridiculous amount of money, deserves no credit. Which is why so many of their mods are being shared for free.

I do not disagree, still I am glad that ACFL, SimDream and RTM are offering cars that I would not be able to drive other wise. I am not offended that the content is from a game origin with a physic I do not care to drive. I am also perfectly happy to have it available to test and then decide what it is worth to me and reward accordingly if I see fit. I always prefer donation as it is much easier to choose the reward.

I share the point of view of "rshumi" and It's a very recent way for me, to download stolen mods wich are ripped and first... they are ripped very badly in all the different aspects of a mod.

I buy all the mods or cars wich are made with quality, integrity, passion, awesome buid from the beginning to the end (sounds, physics, models, paints, pictures... etc !).
From my knowledge, they are only 3 teams sharing passion for perfection (I don't add the little mod from Sergio Loro because, there is only one but I bought it and I appreciate it very much).
I will not mention it, all of them got 3 letters and... THAT'S ALL !

I buy all their products with a gorgeous pleasure, I got no regrets to give them my money, NEVER and... I will never share a link for the products of the 3 studios, I'm not the only one to think like this.

Someone could think that is "geometrical ethic".
I will answer NO, a huge work made with passion and time must be paid, not a mod (so badly) ripped !

I am waiting for the DRM mod for AC and if I have to pay for it, I will do it joyfully. ;-)

Bye ! :)

EDIT
I bought some ACFL works (4 cars and a mod) some time ago and... this is not very good but not very bad.
I regret, so far, the fact that this team got the rights to use the "CTDP F1 2006" works against an other team (MSF), for example, the sounds of the cars are bad, too much reverberation and It's very important for me. ;-)

All the mods I bought from ACFL are terrible. I wrote them how many mistakes there were on their F1 2006, and they wouldn't even bother to reply back. Also their Renault RE30 and Williams FW06 looked like it was made by SimDream, since it's low skin resolution and unrealistic handling.

I will not buy anymore any of their "products" but I bought this Renault RE30 and It got terrible shaders, It's absolutely a shame !!!
I saw the Williams FW06 video, just after the release and, so disgusting from many ways. ^^

How many cars is that? I think I'm up to around 1250.
1136, according to CM

So I would have to roughly drive 3 different cars every day to drive them all in one year.:scared:
I have added more content to AC in the last 2 weeks that is available in most race game who do not support mods.

Sadly, AC crashes after trying to load it. :indiff:

What are the best car mods?

I see a lot of shoddy ones, but hardly any that are close to Kunos quality.

And without the attitude, try Racedepartment, as the content there is usually of a higher standard than most of the stuff posted here, for example:

Caterham Super Sprint; Seat Leon TCR; Need for Speed pack one (and two), and by extension, anything by A3DR and Aphigod is golden; Toyota Supra GT500 (I'll be honest, I haven't actually driven this one yet). There's plenty more around if you look.

Considering that most recommendations are Race Department mods, the safest bet is to start with RD.

ASR, VRC, and V8SC Weebly (spelling?) websites also offer free quality mods. The only pay mod that I recommend is RSS.

Then it is test driving cars that you find on dedicated AC mod websites and Facebook groups.

Geez...You people all need to go into Assetto Corsa Car Collecting Rehab!! I had to do a lot of deleting recently. I was running out of space. I have 3 SSD's in my laptop. 512GB C:\ system & applications, D:\ 256GB & E:\ 250GB. Two of those SSD's are strictly for Assetto Corsa (D & E) and I'm at the point where I have to buy another SSD soon. I'll probably go with a 1TB M.2 this time which will hopefully be the last freakin' drive I have to buy for this stupid laptop.

The best car mods are the ones you get the most fun from. The boys have already given you a good direction to go in with RD mods. A lot of the mods that aren't the greatest cars to drive, but look decent...I keep them to give the AI drivers something unique to drive almost every race or track day. The AI doesn't care if his interior is crap or not. Well, except for that one time... :sly: I would highly recommend the Veloce GTS-8 (It's an A3DR & Aphidgod car - beautiful in all regards).
