^^ no mention of price?

They said in a thread over on RD that it would work out as less than $1 per car (or maybe €1, can't remember)

More importantly though, OMFG IT'S NEARLY HERE!

Coincidentally I tried to cobble together a sort of DRM type race using a selection of mod cars, and obviously the grip levels are so wildly different between mod cars and Kunos cars the races are pointless! Looked like a cool grid though!

The DRM REVIVAL MOD will be released
on Friday the 6th April !!
https://www.drm-modding-team.com/

    • 17 different cars (10 car models in a total of 17 configurations)
    • nearly all cars come up with individual physics and sounds
    • featuring fully detailed car models
    • each car has 4 LOD levels for a perfect performance at online races
    • visible damage with wobbling parts and scratches ( see pictures below )
    • mechanical damage: Kill the engine with over revs on downshift or driving too long with too much boost!
    • visible transition from a clean to a dirty car ( see pictures below )
    • animated parts like shifter, exhaust, engine parts, mirror, wipers and more
    • adjustable turbo boost over all race sessions
    • different pit stop times for changing the tires, suspension and car body repair and the refuel time
    • implementation of cold and hot brakes and tires
YEESSSSSS!! I was just thinking about this mod today! I remembered the most recent communication stated possible late March/early April release.

And the remaining 2 cars of RSS GT1 pack should be released soon.

:drool::drool::drool:

Hello people

Anyone has the WEC 2016 skins for the PX2 Loire (the LMP2 from URD)? Those are the only ones Im missing (except for the g-drive one) to have the full 2016 WEC grid. They were on RD but mysteriously disappeared :guilty:

PS: If anyone is looking for content of that season (except obviously for the skins Im looking for) just let me know

Ahhh! I remember that Mini Cooper. Yes...That thing certainly is fun. Wow. It's been a long time since I thought of that car. Those are what I should be racing. Leave the big engines for the big boys. :P

Regarding the 3D Model of the Ferrari 512TR - that's made by A3DR, the best 3D modeller in all of the AC mod scene for cars. He's the one who's doing the cars for RSS. His Need for Speed pack is beautiful. His Veloce GTS-8 is gorgeous. His Mustang & SE30 Jota Diablo are stunning...and so on... I just pray that he can find someone as talented as Aphidgod to do physics files for his 3D models in the future. Thankfully, I'm 99.9% certain Aphidgod had already completely the work on the remaining Need for Speed cars. :banghead:
As aphigod decided not to do physic anymore?

I have the Alpine Signatech #36, and the #35 Baxi DC Alpine, but that's all I have. I don't really know why the skins all disappeared. I remember having the same problem when I bought the URD mod.

Maybe the user that posted many skins for the PX cars was erased. For the PX2 the only one from the 2016 WEC season that it's still there is the g drive.

The other LMP2 car that still can be downloaded is the Strakka racing one.

If you could pass me the Alpine ones I would greatly appreciate it. :P

I was hoping some of you could help we remake the F1 2014 mod by FCM (Forza Corsa Modding). This mod was designed for the older version of Assetto Corsa and was abandoned by the original modders. It contains 5 cars (Caterham, Ferrari, Lotus, Mercedes and Williams). So far I have updated all included upgraded tires to v.10. The problem is the other cars (except Ferrari) has huge tires shown inside the game and the only car I got working without issues is the Ferrari F14-T. My changelog.
Changelog 1.2
- Updated UI, teams and drivers names and numbers. As well as add drivers helmets.
- Updated tires to v.10 (super-soft, soft, medium and hard).
- I have added DRS, the hybrid functions such as ERS and Turbo in the data-folder (Have all functions tested and working, although DRS activation wing is not displayed in the game).
- I have tried getting the engine sound to work, but several attempts have failed, therefore using SF70-H as sound base.
- Still using the data-folder since Content Manager gives lots of errors with .ACD-files.
- Ferrari F14-T is fully tested and working with realistic physics, Powerunit and aerodynamics.

So far most cars are drive-able, although all cars (except the Ferrari) are showing huge tires in the game.

Wow...Great shares everyone. There are so many new mods, it seems. I'm shocked that the DRM Revival mod pack is less than $20. That's what I was guessing. The sounds are phenomenal... It's going to be very interesting to see how their Moby Dick compares to the Kunos Moby Dick from Porsche. :D

I really wish that I could help you out @rshumi - you've been dropping so many links to some cool mods. If I could pay you back with some help working on those cars, I have a hard enough time working on street legal cars. If I tried doing physics work on a modern open-wheel car - it would either explode at the Green Light or it would spin uncontrollably in circles until the tires exploded or the car caught fire from a cooked engine.

As aphigod decided not to do physic anymore?
As Brandon said, not only has he stopped doing physics, but he quit the scene altogether. It really sucks. While I do understand why aphidgod was getting so fed up with the mod users, I'll be damned if some ******** trolls are going to make me give up what I love to do. I might quit modding, but I wouldn't stop everything to do with Assetto Corsa. Unfortunately, that seems to be what aphidgod decided to do. Of course, I won't pretend to know every single thing that pushed and pushed him away from AC, I'm shocked it bothered him as much as it did. He is a really cool, funny dude too. I miss his witty comments. I really pray that he has a change of heart and comes back. Not even to model, if it's going to make him unhappy, but just to have him back in this community on the forums.

I currently have the ACU Bathurst and Interlagos mods and they're really good with high FPS. Are there any other ACU track mods?

I must be getting old, or maybe I am of out touch, but 15 Euro for 10 cars (14 liveries) for the DRM mod feels like a lot to me. Not saying it is not worth it, just not to me.
I think asking for less would maybe be better for them to. I believe a few die hards will buy them, but for the average joe they might feel like waiting if they pop up, as all mods eventually do. Some complete game, with a lot more than 10 cars are offered for 15 euro or less. Again I might be out of touch as most comment are even wondering why it is not even more.

but 15 Euro for 10 cars (14 liveries) for the DRM mod feels like a lot to me. Not saying it is not worth it, just not to me.

Call me tight fisted too, I wouldn't pay more than 10. I don't think Kunos would charge that much. I understand all the work that's been put into them but I've always been the get-your-value-for-your-money type. It doesn't work out as particularly great value when you start making comparisons (at least within AC, ignoring iPricing *cough* iRacing etc).

Thanks for sharing your favorites, @jahsteve - there were two tracks that I somehow missed and never installed. I can't wait to try 'em. 👍

Ugh...I knew I had this archive somewhere on my mess of a computer network. It took quite a while, but I finally found it. It's an archive with 20 ACU tracks. It's almost 2GB in size, so I'll extract the archive and upload all the individual tracks - that way you can pick and choose what you want. ACU tracks can be a bit old, but I know people use them. I'll post the link when it's done.

I'm with you guys. I actually thought they'd be charging $20, so I was surprised when I saw it was only $15. As you said Cote Dazur, these might end up being the best mod cars in the world, but these are all cars that I can easily live without. They aren't worth that to me. I know a ton of work went into these things. Well, I don't know, but that's what I've heard...they couldn't just do simple conversions, so they had to start over from scratch they claim. So yeah, a lot of work must have gone into these cars. The sounds are fantastic, according to the small sample loops they provide on their website. I wish someone would freakin' put that much enthusiasm into making great sounds for A3DR's cars! :grumpy:

Actually I was just trying to say thanks to Cote Dazur for posting those links but I messed up my very first post :-). I was also going to ask if anyone could suggest some hill climb specific cars that would be a good fit for those tracks.
