Personally I like the “FN” version since it has the blue wave sculpture (the thing that looks like a roller coaster) and overall just has the most accurate “feel” for Long Beach to my taste. The 3D Trees one is nice but has WAY too much foliage, none of the night lighting configs are particularly accurate but that’s just me being picky since I used to live there.

None are perfect, none are terrible, all of them are more or less based off of the same forza rip so lighting configs and rain configs all work for each other. The only thing we need now is added ramps for Stadium Super Trucks to really experience the pinnacle of motor sports 😂
Copy, thanks so much for your precious infos. I would try this version too and then I'll decide... About a config for a night race, someone posted a config (but with the whole track) over racedepartment few days ago, but yeah maybe it's not 100% accurate.
 
TAA on? +2x super sampling in nvidia control panel
Any ideas to fix the AA? I have tried several configurations (AC, CSP, nvidia control panel...) but I cannot eliminate the flickering shadows on the walls and saws on cables and distant objects

Also experiencing similar problems here recently. I use TAA and have tried just about everything I can think of including nvidia control panel settings and nvidia profile inspector but nothing I apply seems to have any affect.

Something different today because I like those vintage Formula 1 stuff...

GRAND PRIX 1973 AI AND REAL NAME PATCH

This patches the slow AI cars in races for the F1 1973 mod by SimDream. If you have black tires deactivate the TyresFX in Content Manager.

There is only one old version around and that's the 1976 version of Automobilista.
Is was released by Terra21, who was part of a team at the time (the name of the team was 'Track Reboot' I believe)
For some reason it was named 1967 but it's most definitely a representation of the 76 Kyalami.
The current Reboot Team might contain members of the old 'Track Reboot' group, I guess.
Thanks for the info. Since people seem to prefer I make a separate track folder when I do these little updates, i'll go ahead and name mine Kyalami 1976 so as to not be confused with the original version.

On another note, when I was looking around for a copy of the track to see if I could update it for @Diegonapoli10, I came across a forum post from someone who said the Pirelli bridge logo is incorrect. I was wondering if someone knows who the real life bridge sponsor was back then? I can't find that thread again and don't remember who he said the sponsor was.

Dunlop was the sponsor in 1976. You can check it in that video here.

Ok, so are anyone making a proper Volvo 240 Turbo gr. A mod anytime soon? 😊

The existing ATCC one isn't too bad, but the headlights are all wrong. And I'm not really good enough at modelling to do anything about it..
 
If anyone is interested:

Some time ago I did this small pack, depicting the 1960 Indianapolis 500. I replaced all the names and teams, putting the most historical accurate names of drivers and teams possible, in addition to a preset, which is in accordance with the original starting positions of the race.

I don´t hold any credits for the car and track (both belong to Legion). My contribution only is for the preset and UI for all the cars. Feel free to edit the number of laps and AI difficult at your own will.

READ THE TXT FILE, PLS!!!!


Btw, I had intended to do the same for 1963, but since Legion's Roadsters come from PC2, they don't have real skins (I think only 1 is real). Which puts an end to my reasons for making a preset for it.

Yeah, Dunlop. Also, if you're not offended by Facebook, there's a fantastic group over there called KYALAMI- THE ORIGINAL TRACK...1961 to 1987.

I tried to install it just like with the previous version (2.1 I believe) and i somehow lost the white road markings.

Could you update or replace these ugly trees (3D + texture) near the Dunlop bridge ?
It isn't really visible in a screenshot but the trees are very poor (2D trees)

Legion made it that way. the mod itself represents 3 different chassis (Kurtis, Kuzma, and Watson) each skin uses ext_config magic to swap out parts for each chassis type. There should be three kn5s in the root mod folder named for each chassis, I believe you can rename each of these to indy_roadster_offy.kn5 for previews/custom showroom, but in game the og indy_roadster_offy.kn5 should be in place.
 
This version that @CrisT86 mentioned is not a Gilles rework but a RF2 conversion. The track will be again updated, once I found sufficient time to do this
That rF2 conversion is frickin lit! Awesome track, thanks for bringing it to AC! (One of the reason I'm not at all interested in the excellent prototype's upcoming East London track, only Killarney and the others - because this version of East London is already good enough!)

Same problem here. I've tried all sorts of settings in nvidia control panel and CM and I couldn't fix it.
