Anyone know how to get rid of this, on the custom loading screen?
open data folder, car.ini, search for
Hm. No luck, car.ini already saysopen data folder, car.ini, search for
[INFO]
SCREEN_NAME=Ford Escort RS1600 '73 and edit it :
[INFO]
SCREEN_NAME=Ford Escort RS1600
simple as![]()
It's a setting of Content Manager under "Settings/Content Manager/Content/".
Nope, not that one either, already tried it. It's not checked. And if I check it, it adds the postfix also in content manager.It's a setting of Content Manager under "Settings/Content Manager/Content/".
Untick "Add years postfix to cars' names" under the section "Cars:"
go to the car's folder then to "ui" there open and edit "ui_car.json"Hm. No luck, car.ini already says
[INFO]
SCREEN_NAME=Ford Escort Mk1
So the info obviously comes from somewhere else. It adds this suffix to all cars.

I think some tracks in real life like Paul Ricard have grippy run offs to slow down out of control cars, maybe this is simulated on that track.. Just a thought.Why does my car automatically apply the brakes when I go off track in acu_mexico... how can I turn that off?
It is quite frustrating at the esses... pls help me guys...
Absolutely, maybe a bit overdone though.I think some tracks in real life like Paul Ricard have grippy run offs to slow down out of control cars, maybe this is simulated on that track.. Just a thought.

Or Danish / Finnish also ?Russian, Dutch - same-same, right?
Not at allOr Danish / Finnish also ?
The year postfix only showed up in the loading screen, not in content manager, in game or anywhere else.go to the car's folder then to "ui" there open and edit "ui_car.json"
Just don't mistake Norwegian for Danish. The two are as different as Cantonese and Mandarin.Not at all
Pretty sure it's stated under Damping (or Friction) in "surfaces.ini" file in the tracks folder. But you have to find which kind of surface it is. Usually it's under "Out" "Runoff" "Green" or something like it. Then change it to a number closer to the one for the tarmac (probably 0)Why does my car automatically apply the brakes when I go off track in acu_mexico... how can I turn that off?

For you to decide.Oh man, I was just about to ask about that. Can this be considered the definitive version of Portimao for AC? I've got like 3 versions of that track and it'd be neat to trim it down.
Hi @Rainmaker87 !Correct it's the 91 version.
