Last night wasnt too flash for me.
First Race: Change a setting before jumping into the 512BB, stupidly, made the back end very twitchy and every time through turn 2 at Fuji it put me into a spin, 3 laps in a row, i called it quits to purchase the other cars and to test some settings for later races.
Second Race: Couldnt afford the S2000, so didnt compete lol
Third Race: Testing this car between race 1 and 3 was great. Nice and stable, had a decent setup from the 5 minutes around the track i had spent and was in, i thought, for a good race. Starting 11th, Turn 1 i took it easy around the outside of the corner and ended up about 6th after the mayhem. Turn 2 and 3 were easy, but i was caught up in some mayhem at the tight left hand turn 4. I dont know what happened behind me but i was swamped by cars, knocked by one and the game gave me a collision penalty. So i sunk back down to 10th, quickly caught the battling Torc guys and Joeninety and had the pace through the tricky corners to be right on the back of Torc Tosk, who went wide at the 2nd last corner.
My car was performing well and i didnt expect his line so i took the inside, only for him to come sharply in on my and getting a penalty, i let him past on the straight and was down in 11th. I spent the next few laps battling with Tosk, who was slower than me so it was alot of frustration in my helmet as i went to make some moves, couldnt, hit him or otherwise. Eventually got past him on lap 6, WAY behind anyone else so it was a boring few laps. I wasnt quick enough for the win, but could have had a solid mid pack place had i been a bit more lucky with my penalty and a little more calm headed afterwards.
Fourth Race: Bought the 111r/Tuned, tried it, hated it, didnt race. Stupid car.
Fifth Race: Best race of my MNR career, well, i had alot of fun. Started 8th, alright start, outside of the first corner, quickly behind a couple of the Torc guys who seemed slow through the Essess. Knocked about by someone who wasnt part of MNR, eventually caught up to the FR GTLM Racer, Torc_Vrrm and an IT Ferrari Cali driver. The IT guy seemed a bit agressive, causing the FR GTLM off the road at the hairpin as he was chasing Vrrm, i got a little too greedy at the chican and knocked him, he didnt like that and immediately retailiated at the Essess, got back past me, but he eventually wiped himself out at the chicane, so at this stage (about lap 4 or 5) i was behind Vrrm who was slow everywhere apart from the straights, i may have ran into him a couple of times but backed off to give him space.
ED5TA was catching quickly from behind and i eventually set myself up for a move on Vrrm, from Spoon curve, caught Vrrm's draft, tapped the brakes going through 130r, right on Vrrm's tail, he didnt give me any room for the inside into the chicane, so i was half on the road, half on the grass on the inside as i braked for the chicane! Dont know how i stopped the car, but i managed to, get through cleanly, where Vrrm immediately overtook me down the main straight again. Through the Essess, he ran a little wide at turn 5 going left, i tapped him, and immediately i pulled over and took a very wide line through the following right to give him space, he slid at the apex of turn 6 ending up on a wide exit, which i noticed, and grabbed the inside immediately, setting me up for a great line through Dunlop, where i didnt see Vrrm again. Lap 7 and 8 was spent defending my position (2nd overall) from the fast French guy running the GTLM, which he ended up taking 2nd away from me lap 9, and my last chance i squandered it running wide at the haipin on lap 10. So i settled an exciting race 3rd overall, 2nd for MNR and an NZ 1 and 2 with Tizzla in 1st
Unfortunatly theres no replay of my pass against Vrrm into the chicane which almost required me putting on a fresh pair of pants...but i do remember Barrichello doing the EXACT same thing to Montoya in 2001 as below (1min 30 into the video) which shows pretty much exactly what i did, and why i would need a change of underwear

Loved the races i took part in, as frustrating as they were, it was alot of fun! See you next week!

Oh no the GT-LM! 
Good to know it'll be easier this time around.
At least I did some incredibly good racing though, 3 high 1'56s and 4 low 1'57s, plus a 2'00 flat first lap.👍 If I can race like that tonight I'll be set I reckon.
