Any chance we can sneak Tsukuba Circuit into the mix?

that track just way too small for this cars

Have to agree with Greasy on this one. As much as I love Tsukuba and have had some ripper races around there, it isn't a track I'd like to do an hour and a half race around in a gt car

Wasn't there a 3 hour Tsukuba race on gt5? it started to get boring after a while in that Mazda mx5

Yeah I only made it to 15 minutes into the race and went 'forget about this!' Or words to that extent No matter how detuned I made the car I still didn't find it interesting due to the lack of AI competition...

I've done sprint races around there with 3 or 4 drivers swapping spots at every corner for the entire 5 laps, but we also had no damage and could rub and bump the whole race without damage!

just to be clear guys...I'm not PO'd at anyone, just the situation. This is a great series,Dave has done a great job organizing and managing it. The racing is great, even tho' I'm far from the fastest guy. Didn't come to win, but for the cameraderie, racing and maybe learn something.
I've made good friends here and hope that continues.

I am currently looking into other options mate, obviously no one can be blamed for their connections and I know you have been extremely patient with your own, options will be explored to ensure everyone gets an equal opportunity to compete,
no one has seen any issues with your connection in the 3 races you have participated in thus far,

As I told Greasy and Dave prior to the race last night I'm out of the series, have a 24hr race to prepare for and only a month to do it.

After the race I will re-evaluate for next season.

Hopefully we see you back for the remainder of this season,

If any tracks should be add to the track list we got to think about tracks that will be fun challenging an will make for some close racing like Côte d'Azur Tokyo R246 Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps an Suzuka Circuit like I would really like to see Côte d'Azur an Spa added but I think the line up is good as it is besides Apricot Hill but I would like to see this championship longer as it's the one I enjoy the most

Id like to make it longer, but my calendar doesn't allow for weekly races or extended seasons. I was barely able to squeeze this into my schedule, but I made it fit because I love racing,

ok so on reflection that was a rage quit for which i apologize....not my style, no excuses
If you fellas can tolerate me I'll be back

of course mate, under the same circumstances id have probably thrown the tv out the window

For everyone who is interested, Greasy and myself will be running some sprint races around Motegi on wednesday night. This will be setup as fun way to get some practice and will also allow us to get some extra practice with the rolling starts. Looking at starting 7:30 (AEST) or 7:00 (ACST) to give our Kiwi friends a bit more of a reasonable time :)

just to clarify. Itz did approach me on this and he does have my blessing

NOTICE
I have designed some structures to be put in place that will limit time spent trying to fix the issues if there are any further,

#1, From here on in the lobby will be limited to 11 participants, All participants must be from the Australasian region of the world, regardless on internet strength,

#2, If a lobby is required to have a change of host, the lobby will only jump once, If things are still dodgy then one of the parties will be asked to kindly leave for the betterment of the community, This is to ensure things are still run to time,

#3, As a final measure, If everyone can see each other in the lobby but it is unstable, damage will be turned off completely, Penalties will be given to the offending car as usual,

LE MANS DEBRIEF

1st, Lion-Face (pole)
2nd, TheFlash05
3rd, GREASY
4th, Swillisam
5th, ItzRacing
6th, TDZdave
7th, Motocross-09

DNF, MitchZ06
DNF, Heathenpride
DNF, Nosoks
After the connectivity issues suffered at Le Mans no one will be penalized for contact between cars whilst its clear connectivity caused the incidents without the issues I believe that none of the incidents would have happened,

It is of the highest importance if you cannot see another car that you make it abundantly clear to everyone before the event gets underway,

ROUND 5, MOTEGI

TRMOTEGI.jpg

We will be using Motegi full course,
The race will be started from the East course grid slots,

ItzRacing and GREASY are holding a practice lobby Tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 7PM ACST/ 7:30PM AEST, all are welcome, just make sure you get the friend requests to the lads,

I wont be able to attend due to myself, Widfo and Heathen having to do some testing for the GTPlanet Le Mans 24 hr,

Thanks for posting the start info Dave, I was going to message you so we can get our starts sorted in the right place, but that sorts things out :)

I'll be hosting tomorrow night as Greasy will be at State of Origin. with that in mind I believe that I have received friend requests from everyone who has taken part in the series so far :)

The plan will be for the room to open at 7pm acst with everyone able to practice until we get 3 or more in the room, then we will do a bunch of 5 lap races till everyone gets sick of it. I'll be jumbling starting positions around to try and give everyone a chance to start at the front too :) the only issue may be that we have to deal with another update :/

Hope to see a few of you there for some fun racing! :)

Well good news possibly, the update should be complete by 7PM ACST, Thus meaning it will need to be downloaded, hopefully not to many issues,

It could be just me, but with the new wheel geometry physics my Z4 has some crazy oversteer on turn in and feels really strange all round. Id be interested to know if anybody else's cars now feel quite different.

please dont say that! The Audi has enough oversteer,

also guys, taking a vote,

the red bull ring has been introduced to GT6, I am willing to add it to the calendar, by these means,
a) add it as the final round, making it 12 rounds
b) replacing a round with this circuit
c) ignore the new circuit

A, or maybe B if Bathurst isnt "fixed" in time

Voting a. Had fun tonight finishing it off with a Prius race except I untuned my car itzracing had the advantage but I blocked him for a bit of it until itz came out on top.
