put me down for A but ditto on Flash if Bathurst is still Batty

my Ford is suddenly grabby up front and slidy behind. Still seems better with no camber than with "some"

yeah it was a good night tonight, thanks to everyone who showed up. We basically did a couple hours of testing in free run while everyone sorted their cars out and finished with a couple fun races. Nosoks was in the lead of the first race before stopping before the finish line, like @Cobra_GT500 told us to. I didnt see the message however and powered past him and stole the win... Oops. Still acknowledging that it was Nosoks race win! Nosoks and Moto ran with a Corvette C7 Stingray and I used a new viper with a wing, racing soft tyres and no other upgrades except suspension, lsd, etc. and put in the same times as i did in the merc sls!

Sounds like I've got some catching up to do. Will try and get on tonight however I'll need to finish some painting first.

some of the car handling differences may be due to a dead zone in the wheel now.
Yeah you could be right, It feels ok on initial turn in but then mid corner snap over steer without even touching the loud pedal. Doesn't seem to matter what type of corner it is either. So far no amount of anti roll bar or rear adjustments seem to fix it.

Ive not had a chance to test the Audi, will I be in for a bad time?

Quite possibly. Its made some not as good cars good (GTR) and some good cars rubbish (Z4). I haven't driven the Audi so i'm not sure which category it falls into. But its safe to say you will need to change a good part of your set up.

Audi has always suffered from snap oversteer

Good work to the guys for sticking it out over a gruelling an fatiguing race
See you all in 2 weeks time on the 25/06 at Twin Ring Motegi in Japan
for a thrilling round 5 of the Australian GT

I just did a 50 minute run with my Mercedes on the Motegi and it felt fine although this was just to get used to the course not put in good lap times I had bad tyre wear due to braking late and locking the brakes. I guess I need a bit more practice tomorrow.

So today I thought I'd be playing my ps3 and decided I'd start a Le Mans 24hour endurance race on gt5 but little did I know that my ps3 would stop working my ps3 has officially stopped working with a hardware failure. So I i have now lost all my saved data for every game I played :(. I'm not sure how long ill be without a ps3 for ill be sending it in to get a replacement which will cost me $175since its out of warranty. After all these years my luck with playstations have officially stopped. I am sad now my beloved ps3 slim is officialy dead

I do have a ps3 in my room which I could use for the race but ill be on a ds3 if that's ok with everyone.

glad to have you, please ensure you send me an fr prior to the event this week
Thanks for having me. Also, I've got a quick question on the car I've selected (RX8)

According to your first post, you said the car had 562bhp, however upon buying the car, the game said it had 500bhp. Where about did you get the information regarding this? And, to level up my car to what the first post said, I have installed a low RPM turbo that brings the power up to 551bhp. Would this be acceptable?

Hope you can answer this asap :)

You can install whatever parts you want, so long as it meets the regs on the opening page. If you want less HP than whats listed that's fine by us :)

I would go to big w and get a new one for $150 seeing as postage of the unit will cost you, a ds3 will be ok mate,

Keg, any tuning parts are allowed,

Ill look into it I already miss having 2 ps3s I was in heaven lol. Do I need to change any parts of the tune with the ds3 for the sls?

@TDZdave may I make a suggestion? Being that we still don't seem to get the starts right (I have faith that we have learnt from our mistakes BTW), why don't we start at the main start line so we have more room for error going into turn one? Just a thought.

Ha ha. Could try but I have so many cords it would take me years to figure it out where they all go :P.

there is 3 that go into the playstation, 2 without a wheel,

is an idea flash. Concerned about the adjusted first turn?

More that the turn of the bottom of the hill is tight and you cant get away with going two wide + you will get to it with a lot of speed. If you make an error it will cost you big time.

Well after playing around with my ps3 I ended up biting the bullet to do a full system restore and my ps3 is up and running. Sad thing is though I've lost all my saved data :(. Guess I can grind again for the sls amg gt3 luckily I don't have to get the trophies again lol.

get a flash stick and transfer your data

i can agree mate, my reasoning behind the change was getting everyone through the final turn of the circuit 2 wide, and if there is an incident the pit lane is only 250m up the circuit as oppose to people needing to complete a full lap with damage that early on,
