well I have to admit defeat, the Audi has well and truly been ruined with the recent update, PD have made suspension value changes making my old setup all but redundant, whilst I still maintain the specs are true and still correct the Audi's, Lamborghini and Honda NSX will require time spent on tuning which I simply dont have, so from here forward I will be driving the SLS,

NOTICE
I have designed some structures to be put in place that will limit time spent trying to fix the issues if there are any further,

#1, From here on in the lobby will be limited to 11 participants, All participants must be from the Australasian region of the world, regardless on internet strength,

#2, If a lobby is required to have a change of host, the lobby will only jump once, If things are still dodgy then one of the parties will be asked to kindly leave for the betterment of the community, This is to ensure things are still run to time,

#3, As a final measure, If everyone can see each other in the lobby but it is unstable, damage will be turned off completely, Penalties will be given to the offending car as usual,

After the connectivity issues suffered at Le Mans no one will be penalized for contact between cars whilst its clear connectivity caused the incidents without the issues I believe that none of the incidents would have happened,

It is of the highest importance if you cannot see another car that you make it abundantly clear to everyone before the event gets underway,

ROUND 5, MOTEGI

TRMOTEGI.jpg

We will be using Motegi full course,

Hopefully you can make it soks,

An edit to the above, We will be doing a full pace lap, the final turns offer more room then they did in GT5, so we shouldn't have any issue getting the field through 2 wide,

Hmm I'm confused my car felt slower before i lost my save but now i can complete laps around 1.47-1.49 it feels a lot smoother in gear changes maybe I messed them up by accident.

Good luck for the race guys. My girlfriend didn't appreciate the noise at 11pm (NZ time), so I thought I'd better quit.

Not a fan of the handling of the GTR after the patch. More of a pug now. I'll be going SLS next time.

great race tonight guys, seems the updates damn near screwed everyone that didn't expect the change, took the GTR for a lap around the Nurburgring afterwards, it does need a big overhaul in tuning, as do most of the cars,

I was getting understeer and then snap oversteer in the GTR, was not expecting that.

****, I mixed up my dates! :banghead: Sorry for missing it, but I'll definitely be available for Nurburgring (my car's already set up for it).

Thanks guys, it was good to get one back on Lion... Now just got to get some pole positions.

@TDZdave any idea where the race will start for the next round?

Congrats on the win. Yeah I don't think you'll be wanting to do a lap of the nurburg at 60 kms an hour will take 20mins just to get the race going plus if we get damage half was through. I don't think Ill be racing at the Nurburgring only because I suck at it and if I get half way round and crash every lap it's going to be a pain in the arse to nurse it home.

ive got the start line down to 3 spots,
#1, between the gantry and sign exiting the first chicane,
#2, under the sign between the hairpin and Schumacher S,
#3, under the sign at the top of the Schumacher S.

#3 is looking like the best option because its a corner everyone will have to brake for and it has plenty of run off area if people need to take evasive action, it is a very long lap and i dont want anyone getting damage in the melee,

i'm wondering if they ninja fixed the camber now. Practicing this afternoon I changed the camber back to my usual "Soksco" levels and the car was just fine.Still a little snappy but not too bad. also shaved a 1/4 sec of my Nurb time hahahahaha

Gents, I will tonight have a lobby open for practice. Starting around 2100hrs NZT. If you want to join and haven't already sent me a FR please do so as it will be "FREINDS ONLY"

NOTICE
Points have been updated following round 5 at Motegi,

INCIDENT REPORT,

+30) TDZdave/ GREASY07, Causing a collision,
Exiting the chicane I went wide for the 18th time, thus sliding back onto the circuit into the path of GREASY, he had nowhere to go, thus heavy damage was sustained to his vehicle,
The positions of the race result have been adjusted whilst sorting the points carried from this round,

ROUND 6 NURBURGRING 24h

adac_nurburg_map3_zps984d1b3a.jpg

Start proceedure,
Due to the sheer length of the circuit we will not be doing a full pace lap, so here are the adjustments,

+) The pole winner will set off at 80-100KPH,
+) The field will follow single file,
+) The leader will slow to 50KPH around the 200m board leading into the Dunlop Hairpin
+) The field will the stack up, with odds on the left, evens on the right,
+) The field will then go around the hairpin in 2X2 formation,
+) The official starting point of the Acceleration zone is the Volkswagen Gantry 200m out of the corner,
+) The end of the acceleration zone is the 100m board on the entry of the Schumacher S, this is on the right hand side of the circuit,

because with this track its difficult to pass I was going to ask if we can have a shoot out style qualifying session 1 car at a time ?

Personally the better option would be race alone for 10 minutes just like was done in ATL gt500 race as greasy knows. after 1 lap your tyres are stuffed for running another good lap anyway, so it's up to each driver to run a clean lap without a mistake if they want to be up the field. Attrition is presumably going to be high, so qualifying won't matter too much...

I was going to extend qualifying to 15 minutes and do the start at the last corner, like le mans, but release a driver every 30 seconds to give space between cars, but that would only allow each car to get 1 lap,
