Having an issue with the widget.

It is not updating my friends list in the Manage Drivers menu and also it is not selecting 16 drivers for the races even thought here are more than enough available. Sometimes it only reserves as low as 3 drivers out of a possible 50 or so. I have 1 or 2 friends set to Always Use, which seems to work fine, and others set to Use Randomly. It only selects a few drivers from this list.

A bit frustrating. Any suggestions?

Anybody having issues logging on with the widget? Mine's saying server maintenance.

Try using US as country in the login-details.... European and Asian servers seems to have recurring issues.

Lower the numbers of threads, and/or raise the timeout for reserving drivers to a couple of seconds...

My Widget seems to get stuck on "Reserving Drivers" for an awfully long time, is there any way to sorta, speed things up? Also, it's only setting up races of 4 bob's. Using 1 of my 4 and 3 from 1 of my friends... is that fixable or is that how it works?

Edit: Nevermind i seem to be a blithering idiot!

Right click the widget and select it from the menu.

It's greyed out, so would it be a case of starting a remote race then it should be selectable

Adding to the wish list: a way generate statistics from the race logs would be nice.

I have some questions: what is "concurrent threads" found in the Widget preferences? What do they do?
Mine is set to 4..is that good or bad?! And why?
How do I set "one free" bob?

One free is default and concurrent threads relates to CPU threads used simultaneously to reserve drivers. If you have a slow computer you might have to lower this number.

thanks, because my grinder has been working really weird tonight. I've had problems starting races, and the widget told me I was using 6/6 drivers, but I hardly made any money from the races, and when I checked the PS3, noone had been racing my bobs for more than an hour!
Ill try to lower the number..being on a crappintosh!

I know it's been asked and answered before in this thread, but I don't seem to be able to find it right now. How exactly was it possible again to run two instances of the widget?

Any one living any were can use any location server with the widget.
So you switch to UK server and use that. or US server as they are more stable
simples.
The web servers are not IP filtered.

It has nothing to do with what country you are in, but with what country you have selected in the Account settings of the widget. Just select one of the countries you have a code for. What have you selected currently?

You'll be able to tell if it is working by a row of helmets at the bottom of the widget, lap counter etc.
