I knew Luxy had it in him too. Well done mate you did a great job 👍

Well done to VTR and Misterweary from GTP who put in some serious effort also 👍

Congrats to Dan who brings home another podium.
Now off to chase GTIRN's second place :)

Terrific team we have this year. 👍 👍 👍

Table of results for anyone interested.

Battle for third place will be tough : we're only 2 points ahead of GT Times.

Eh, not so much... :sly:

Great job finishing it off though man, definitely had some tough competition there, if you know what I mean...

YAY!!!! :D

Congrats to my team mates for a solid P4 finish for GT Planet. 👍 👍 Obviously I would have liked to finish better, but I had no illusions of getting as low as kart, momo, and the rest did. My best dirty time was still 5 seconds off kart's final time.

I'm happy to have had the opportunity to race with all the good guys and tough competitors for GT Planet. It's been fun. :)

It has also been fun racing in WRS. I haven't been around much lately due to new responsibilities and an extreme lack of time for leisure, but I still lurk from time to time. It's good to see the new blood coming in and mixing it up with the vets, which keeps the series fresh. I doubt if I will compete much anymore, but I will always think fondly of my time with the WRS and GTP. :) :)

Later all,
Steve

Well, just know that you're welcome back any and every time you can manage... 👍

Congrats to Steve and the GTP team 👍 You definately had the biggest GT names in your race, so you can be proud of your result :sly:

I enjoyed the battle with GTP this BC! Now wait how it will be next BC

Congrats to GTTimes for taking third position overall, and congrats to all the GTPlanet team for the great effort, unluckily rewarded by the worst overall position : 4th.
 mates

Colby suggested a few months ago that all drivers would be given the chance to run BC races to compare their time with the best BC times. I said I would post the BC races in the WRS, but only after BC end so that it wouldn't interfere.
It sounded great at that time, but I just don't look like the idea right now : racing 10 races while knowing what time we should aim at would kill most of the suspense and pleasure of the WRS.

Yet, I'm posting here the combos and best times achieved so that anyone who wants to compare his/her times with the fastest racers in the GT world has a chance to do so.

During my quick testing of the other three races, I managed these times, which were clean and saved, but now deleted because I had no use for them, and they weren't my all, but just a half an hour to two hours put into each.

Race1: 1'01.179
Race2: 1'07.601
Race4: 1'29.298

Note that you can use ALL pavement on these races, not just what we normally use in the WRS. I didn't use everything in any of the above times because I didn't know that everything was allowed at the time of my trials. These are by NO means my limits for these races.

Just wanted to add that we've been using all pavement too in all recent races. As someone was saying on GTX, it's best if all boards race by the same rules, and the softer the rules, the faster the times.
So I'm tending to allow all tarmac, concrete, pavement or grass-crete areas too.

Yeah, I agree 100%. Good to hear, I remember us having a short discussion about it during BC6 but didn't realize that it turned into the case here. Coolness.

Don't want to be Mr Smart Ass (well, perhaps I want, but that's not the point), but I think it has be the case in the WRS since week 50 at the Ring, which was 4 months ago, far before BC. :sly:

Haha, really? Shows how much I've been paying attention and partipating... :ouch:

Oh, and it's "but I think it has been the case in the WRS"... :sly:

Damn! I thought there was... :(

I just had to squeeze some smart ass back at'cha... :sly:

Flat-out
There's no rep points for pointing out my typos, Kyle :D

Oh.....

Just spent the last half an hour running on medium tyres. :ouch:

I thought I was doing a bit too well?

:embarrassed:
