I've also written some thoughts about this predicament in essay form. So while I've put it away in a spoiler, please take some time to read it.
That essay sums up everything that I have been thinking about... I actually thought about getting rid of GT6 for a long time, but at the same time I still wanted to do cruises with you all. It always was fun when the game functioned correctly, but when it was broken, about 87% of the time, it was difficult to have fun. :nervous: It's a darn shame that Kaz let go of Gran Turimso like this...

I was thinking about what the club would be like on some other game, like P. Cars or Forza, but I have tried both games and find it difficult to try to cruise – it seems like those games are strictly for racing, which is fine, but cruising is also nice.

Quite a predicament... use a broken game? or strictly racing games? or none at all? :indiff:

Theoretically, what are choices for games that still have some sense of realism, but also have the capability of group cruising with text chat?

All these games and still can't find anything?

I think the problem with Forza (at least to me) is Xbox Live. They make you pay to have everything to join/make lobbies and stuff. :odd: Although it's $60 for a year, that's $5 per month. I mean some people are thrifty (:sly:) like me and I don't want to pay that much for something not hugely important and as an activity to do on the side.
As far as I know, for PS4 you only have to pay for the PS+.

EDIT: wait a minute... that was supposed to be $5

I honestly don't think the reason for inactivity is the game itself, it's the real life schedule conflicts many people are having.

Basically, this.

College has taken a lot of my free time; I have to do a minimum of 12 hours (!) of revision per week. There have been many times I've wanted to join a lobby, but I've been unable to due to the ridiculous workload I now have.

First of all, sorry if i late here.

1.For GTPs odd reason, they decided to not notify me on this thread even if i watch it.
2. I was on a mid test and my health isnt exactly good. So pardon if i focused on much more optimistic one event instead, kind of back down from here a bit.

As for will this club closed, no. GT6 may be suck crap and anything. But the point here is a community. I was a frequent critic to GT6 back in the day. But in the end, couple with the fact that bashing PD without substance is now trending as far as i can see, makes me play GT6 as just a community service, to connect to people.

That's true but I wouldn't say it's the whole reason.

But the problem I see here is that PD is not letting us be a community efficiently. Again, it goes back to the problems of the game: online stability, stupid design choices, etc. I want to cruise with my buds on some mountain pass. I want to chase racers in the tight cities. But I can't do these things. Depressing really.

And this is why the club closes.

Awww I missed that? :(
Nothing special tbh. It stays like that for like 15 minutes before back to some random street cars.

No, no more 2X and Tomahawk Smurfy.

That's true but I wouldn't say it's the whole reason.

To think that its more of feature problem. Theres lack of it that makes the game bit stale. Also damn standard cars.

Stability? Its bad but its not completely atrocious. Not sure about other racing games, though.

Dang, from re-reading my posts it sounds like I want the club to close. Do not think I want to close it but rather I have to close it. As I've said before though, the members make up the club so your votes have a very big impact on the final decision.

@Ameer67 What do you think about this? Since the poll has shown that most people want the club to stay open, we should try to see if for the next two weeks we can steadily hold 2-3+ lobbies per week. If not, the club closes. Just a thought I had
