Adjusted the Huracan and won by nearly 30 seconds with 27:27. Probably want the brake balance to the rear as it wore the fronts much more than the rears. Doesn't need fuel mix 6, somewhere around 4 will do it, depends where you shift. I went to 7th gear at around half bar on the long straight. The penultimate lap was slow because I saved fuel to go for fastest lap on the final lap, but the tyres were too worn for the final lap to be any good. The car is extremely easy to drive, even with TC 0.

Is that the gr4 lambo or a road car?

Have you finished the cafe?

I tried the gr4 atenza on IM and gave up on the 2nd lap. Can I make this car work on different tires or even starting on IM if I just keep going?
Yeah, lol, I'd missed out the last cafe menu!!!

That's the road car, it's the cheapest Lambo from brand central. The Gr.4 might actually be better, as it might have better fuel economy, though it might have other build / tune limitations. It's kind of boringly easy to win even with the road car, though.

So.. this isn't my picture, it was sent by a member in one of the Discord servers I'm in who got it off of someone else.

Apparently there's an insanely bizarre setup out there for the Tomahawk X that can get it far below the PP range that it should actually be in.

Sadly they don't know the exact setup used here by this individual, all they know is that the first 3 gears were set to be dummied out, (at 50 km/h) whilst the fourth gear was made to go up to around 300 km/h.

It might be a cheap route, but if anyone is willing to play around and figure out what would re-create or get close (or better) to the PP amount, I'd love to know. Apologies that I can't provide any more information, I'm just going by what I was told.

I switched down to Easy before this race, Gallo still made 2:12 and 2:11 laps, pitted twice, and beat me by 9 seconds, as I could hardly hit 2:15 until the track dried up in my most recent ticket prize, the A45 AMG. I'd tried earlier in a Diablo but bumped two walls and got a 10 second penalty.
So, seems this race is just... harder than every other event on Hard, on Easy. Didn't mind the 495,000 clean 2nd! I'll try and get good at East in a GT-R Nismo or something before I come back.

I won first try by 7 seconds with a 438 pp Chaparral 2J even with getting rammed by an AI causing me to get a penalty and the car damaged. I used fuel map 6 and no pit stops.

Seems I recreated it from your description, looks like the mechanism is that (automatic) transmission would got confused and downshifts back to 2nd gear as soon as it shifted into 3rd gear. I changed to manual transmission during race ...

Other gear ratios won't keep constant when you adjusting so just repeatedly fiddle with them and press triangle until it's under 600 (?)

Edit: Use 9.619 / 9.185 / 8.663 for Sport Soft / Race Intermediate which should much easier to control on first half of race where the surface is wet. The PP of SS/IM are the same but somehow for me SS can survive entire race with some remaining, IM would wore out after ~10 laps. Didn't want to promote exploiting but we can take the chance for some experiment.

Edit 2: Added screenshots for SS/IM config and adjusted 6th gear. Use fuel map 2, cruise with 5/6 gear and you won't need to pit at all. Actually it's possible to throttle through the entire bottom half curving section without braking, from hairpin to hairpin ... but it's extremely risky.

Edit 3: As per Fh1520 said:
For everyone asking about the Tomahawk Tune:

Basically the first 3 gear ratios need to be set at minimum. This will happen in two steps. For the first step, set the speed to minimum (around 55 km/h ish) for the first three gears. As soon as you do this, the first three gears will "open up" allowing you to reduce them even more. At this stage, you'll be able to set the ratio at the exact point that is shown here. After this, set the remaining gears to the ratio shown here. Also remember to set the ECU and and power restrictor to 70.
And the crucial point is that transmission values before the slash must be exact the same, the value after slash is the max speed of that gear and may be different if you're using imperial unit.

Currently trying my hand at this but the lowest my gearbox would go to will be in the 70 km/h region unlike yours which is around 40. Can you explain the automatic and manual part that you mentioned?

Edit: Never mind i got it!

First apply the value (close the slider) then reopen it, the range will change. (edit: and the range will be affected by adjacent gears so adjust them accordingly)

The tune part I used is fully customizable racing transmission, and I was playing with (assist) auto transmission, that can be changed to manual transmission during race in the pause menu. Hope this clarifies!

My goodness.

Tried this one and I was laughing all the way at those puny cheating AI.

No-stop is possible when you raise the fuel map.

Nice, The best I could get in the A45 was 4th and won 315k with it. I got 1st in the GTR but that seems cheesy so I'm messing with non O. P. cars.

This is hilariously funny. Thanks for the setup. I saved it as "a pleasant walk around Tokyo". :sly:

Now, I know we use the Tomahawk purely for shenanigans, but you can finish this race under 20 minutes and it's 825k with clean race bonus. There's potential to make 2.475 millions in one hour. Geez...

I don’t think this is the best farming event. It’s raining and wet and dark. And you can only race below 600pp. I haven’t try with sardegna yet but I bet that’s on clear blue sky.
The World Touring Car 800 Sardegna Road Track A 15 laps($485K) is the best Cr. farm imo, as it's clear skies from start to finish, and with the CLK-LM it's an easy guaranteed win, with about 40-50 odd seconds ahead of 2nd place. I find fm 4 to be the sweet spot without making too many pit stops.

For people looking for non-exploit cars/tunes, I have a new fastest car for this, the Aston Martin DP-100 VGT with SH tyres. Did 26:54 race time, fastest lap 2:09.0, and that's no stop pace, no fuel saving at all is needed. Even with TC 1 it needs a lot more care than the Huracan, but once you get used to it, it's actually a joy to drive, as the back end slides a bit, but in an easily controlled way.

The game is so much better now we are getting the credits from playing it to be able to try more cars out.

Lol awesome, silly speed past the field long before T1. But don't wall ride. I thought it didn't care then a 1 minute 25 penalty popped up when I braked for he U-Turn

I can't seem to get the tomahawk exploit working, my settings look identical to the example above but the PP won't budge under 1229.04.

What am I doing wrong

ha! amazing, thank you - missed that
I never changed the rear body height. It updated after backing out to the garage and going back into car settings. For some reason it wasn't updating in there. Odd thing is, when you equip intermediates for the race it goes back to 1200 or so nd you can't start the race, switch back to hards and it's 595 again. Slippery first couple laps but then zoom!

It's very twitchy though, and the AI likes to swerve on the straight. I swear they are programmed to swerve in your path, bastards. Yet even while bowling a couple of them out of the way on the straight (by accident) and tapping the wall several times for those pesky 5 sec penalties, the clean race bonus was still there.

Good method for 2+ million per hour once the one time rewards run out.

OK, I have my go to car for event. Go get Praiano's 600 hp R34 tune, the car drives so good. Drop the hp a little and raise the top speed a few clicks to get the PP right. Can easily average 2:15 laps on SH tires. I use FM2 for the first 7 laps then pit for fresh rubber and enough fuel to finish. You should have just under a lap of fuel left if you short shift a little. I use FM1 when exiting the hairpin and once into 6th you can drop to FM3-4 to the first corner. If you add extra fuel at pit stop, you can use FM1 for the final stint. Although I still drop it down in 6th. I've also won without changing tires, but I don't recommend it. Once you get used to the car, it's almost a guaranteed win. :D Thanks to gamenou for the livery.

Thanks for this. Its hilarious how silly it makes this event. Worth it though for however long this'll last. :)
