Worst: Trying to grind Coveted. Im not quite good enough to do hard on my own. So I've taken to rooms and starting the mission to get help. The last three attempts have been met with people purposely blowing up the helicopter and leaving the mission. Three random rooms, three random people. Straight. I don't get it. Have people really gotten so horrible that their only mission in life is to ruin the fun of others?
They don't understand the concept of a mission. They think it's a deathmatch.

Hmm. If you destroy the chopper and leave the mission, you should get double the amount of bad sport.

The chopper shows up as an enemy on the minimap. If it's someones first time it's understandable to get confused.

I agree. My first time playing the mission, it was confusing.

But these chaps were all over lvl. 100. They HAD to have known.

In short, yes.

It's always the actions of few that ruin it for many.

It is impossible to have a female character in this game without being followed and/or harassed by random people. Thankfully, we have this.

Yesterday, I was driving to the golf course to see if anything interesting would spawn and there was 2-3 people shooting each other. I end up getting shot for no reason like always. I come back and spray everyone with an SMG and one of them happened to be riding a Bagger.

Yep. Stole it, drove it to LSC and accepted it as compensation. :mischievous:

This sounds like the thing that I always do to randoms. :sly:

Another story involving jets. This morning I cargobobbed a submarine to the Alamo sea and went on an exploration adventure when a red blip comes flying across the minimap. I can hear explosions but as I was deep underwater in the submarine, I was safe. The 200-something rank guy makes a dozen flybys over me but scores nothing and goes onto griefing the living **** out of the rest of the lobby, several times flying back to me and away. I snatch a moment when he's busy killing some guy and shore by Grapeseed, call a Merryweather chopper, go off the radar and grab a jet. As I was approaching he seemed to be completely unaware of me so I get behind him and a couple long-range minigun hits later his jet is smoking black and he bails out. Success! Then he goes into passive mode, hides under a bridge by the east LSC and puts a 1k bounty on me. Well, woopty-****in'-doo I put a 9k bounty on him and he ragequits  Spent over 15k just on that one guy. He didn't kill me once and nor did I but atleast the justice triumphs

I carry the AA-12 (Assault Shotgun) at all times.

I was cruising in my Albany Emperor listening to Blue Ark. A biker drives up next to me at a set of lights. Looks over, and just stares.

I look over once, and then turn back to the road. Lights turn green, biker guns it. I take off slowly. It's a lowrider after all...

Drive a couple of blocks, when suddenly the biker, returns with a bunch of other riders.

Either these guys practiced a lot, or they're good at improv. The lead biker - the one I 'met' at the lights - says follow us, over his mike.

I follow them, and they lead me to Los Santos Customs located near Ponsboys.

All of the bikers surround me, and the lead biker says, 'Nice set of wheels you got there.' Turns to the closest biker. 'What do you think Lou?

'That's a nice piece of machinery'

'Yeah.... It'll be a shame, if something were to happen to it.' Gets closer to my car. 'Alright! Let's go!'

They hop onto their bikes and drive off.

I'm thinking, 'Was I just a part of a Fast and Furious reenactment?! No way! But wait, aren't they su-

Two bikers come back and pull out their MP7's. They shoot it for a bit and my car catches on fire.

They drive off and the lead biker yells 'NOS!' and my car blows up.

They all left the game leaving me confuzzled as hell.

They were all driving Dinka Double-T's. All had 'Uzi's'. It was really a reenactment of F&F.

Too bad I didn't have the Eclipse look-alike and a bald guy in my car. That would've been hilarious. Even though they skipped some lines, and added some others, it was a pretty good effort.

I didn't even add them. :(

That's what got me as well. I didn't really know it was a reenactment until the lead biker yelled NOS. I was assuming it was, but when he yelled it, it all came together.

Also, it would've been even more accurate if some of them had a chick on the back.

I really wish I had added them. I don't know if they were in a crew or not... I would join if it was a crew.

This is what GTA Online needs.... CREATIVITY!

I started a new 2nd character for my other PSN: CapeNome account last night...you know since the slot was empty. I found out that hosts of Rooftop Rumble would rather leave the mission instead of 'babysitting' a low level user. I also found it wasn't hard running RR solo with a low level character, made easier with the Special Carbine and Bullpup rifle available immediately at Ammunation. After a night of running missions, I went from level 1 to level 10. Mostly in part to the option to select missions/races etc that are selectable after completing a mission, even if you're not quite high enough to chose them on your own.

Tonight I was online with @Bhowe83. In the session we were in, we both stole jets from Fort Zancudo. Now we were flying around for a bit, and I was getting shot at by some guys in a Buzzard. @Bhowe83 and I were exchanging fire with the Buzzard for a bit, but neither of us got shot down. However, despite these guys having landed their Buzzard on the street, I got hit by a missile. At first I thought that @Bhowe83 accidentally shot at me, but it turns out it I was hit by the Buzzard. No clue how that happened, especially considering I was a safe distance from it.

I fly around to try and get a good shot on them. I fly by and strike them, but they somehow destroy my jet fighter as I'm flying away. I respawn on the Del Perro pier, and not 2 seconds later I get killed by one of them. Respawn again, get killed in a heartbeat. I enter passive mode where I'm safe, then I get into cover and deactivate passive mode where I get killed again. Remember, I wasn't even close to them each time I got killed. I check the player list to report them, and I see that the three players who were with each other have fake stats.

- One of them is level 1000 with only moderate shooting, low stealth, and low flying abilities.
- The second one who was killing me that entire time is level 579, with a 0.00 K/D Ratio.
- The third player of the group is level 314 and has a K/D Ratio of 34.94.

But I'm sure they didn't actually cheat. They're just really good at GTA Online.

Actually the first shot that got you and caused your jet to flame up was me.

I had a weird moment the other day where I was killed, in passive mode, with a gun, by a completely invisible player. His bright yellow Elegy RH8 was visible, but his actual character wasn't, nor did his blip appear on the map at all.
I know someone here posted about an invisibility glitch a while ago but I believe they said their blip was still visible.

There is a glitch involving the EMPTY BED Duneloader.
Get a friend to insure one, stand on the back whilst the friend gets cops on them and when they die and the loader gets impounded, you will be invisible with no blip on the map.

Time to grief the griefers :).

Hey, I have an empty bed Duneloader with a nice insurance policy :mischievous:

I just found a Benefactor Schwartzer for my level 12 character and had just customized it at LSC when I received an invite to Rooftop Rumble. The host, a level 200-ish driving a Massacro starts the mission with us 2. We take out the professionals with ease, and I end up driving my new car after my teammates picks up the briefcase. About half way to Madrazzo's, he sends me a text that said "nice car man". Afterwards we run RR one more time and go on our way.

*F&F reenactment*

Oh man. That's awesome.

When I first heard that trailers could be attached to trucks before the game came out, I was so excited that we could re-create the "car-under-semi" scene from the beginning.

You can't imagine my disappointment when I realized that all trailers had a bunch of stuff underneath that blocked cars. ROCKSTAR! IF YOU REMOVE THOSE THINGS UNDERNEATH TRAILERS, YOU CAN GET SO MANY MORE STUNT VIDEOS!
