Best/Worst You've Dealt With in GTA Online

I either wait in my house or just find another session. It's funny listening to people insult me for staying in my house and then get mad because someone else kills them at my doorstep. Next time, you won't camp at a door to snag a bounty. Well, you won't if you don't want to get blasted by another random who frankly could care less about the bounty.

Yet another mini wall incoming. While this is nothing compared to other stories here, the basic incident below will probably cause a whole lot of posts here in the future.

Yesterday, I found out that a few of my friends cannot stand each other. I was playing with a couple friends, and they made it clear to me that they didn't want the other guy in the session. I was playing with another friend in the session, and that guy happens to be in the same crew as the guy that they didn't want in. So the other friend invited the friend the other friends don't like, and then it all went downhill.

My other two friends changed their mics to crew only (I am in their crew) and were doing nothing but trash talk the guy. Then one of the friends sent a message to another friend (the friend that invited the guy they don't like) and blasted him for inviting the other guy.

I figured that this would happen, but to be honest, it's a whole slew of irony involved in this mess. For starters, the two crew friends of mine that I was initially playing with used to be cool with him. The crew leader (who is one of my real life friends) does nothing but trash him today which is very ironic. Why is it ironic? Well, to put it simply, he does everything that his former friend does, but he only complains about it when he receives his own play back in his face.

In fact, to be honest, my real life friend is worse because he actually does that stuff while leading his crew. He complains about people who "must have the kill advantage" in fights, but guess who has to have the edge in deathmatches? Plus, on top of, he does everything that he tells crew members not to do (like no blatant crew killing- he kills members all the time but only enforces it when he gets killed). Its actually so bad that my brother gets asked if the crew leader kills members when they see his .3 K/D in public lobbies. It'll probably be worse since the mutual crew respect between the two crews will probably disappear soon. Thankfully, I'm neutral, so I shouldn't be targeted from either crew if the crews go to war.

THE BAD - Lately - Specially with Titan of a job everybody join (full) then nobody gives a fat @#$^. Everyone just park off and I had to do the whole thing by myself. I see it happening more and more on other jobs too - & yes I finish these as I'm only at 79% shooting.
THE GOOD - Some players have the decency to wait or give cover fire/lift whatever - Thx for that
& to those holes that just want's to kill everyone - They should get their own sessions (at least the game will keep them from killing small animals etc. etc. etc .......)

I always have people try to do them properly, but then again, I'm in private sessions with friends that actually care. I once intentionally sabotaged a friend's Rooftop Rumble because the friend who hosted it pissed me off. She blew me up a few feet from a Lazer that I was trying to get in, and I always struggle to get into Zancudo in the first place. The fact that she and a few other friends caused my k/d to drop by about a tenth since they'd randomly kill me made it justifiable to me. I found it especially justifiable after these same people threw a fit about other people killing them, and they literally did the exact same stuff a day later in their own lobby.

The fact that you mentioned your k/d, makes this post irrelevant.

It is relevant because my k/d dropped from them griefing me the day after they bitched about griefers killing them. The day after they said that they would kick griefers from their own lobbies- that is, they said they'd kick out anyone who griefs other than themselves.

I usually could care less about it since I don't really fight people. But when I see it get destroyed by people who do the very things that they complain about the day after complaining about, I tend to get irritated. Especially when one of those who threw the biggest tantrum about not killing is a griefer himself. For all I care, my .96 could drop in public lobbies and I wouldn't give a 🤬. But when I die from people who say they don't condone killing, I'm going to have a problem. The only reason I don't play public lobbies much is due to the hacking and modding or else I'd be there instead of in private lobbies with hypocritical friends that I seem to have.

To be honest K/D doesn't really matter unless you're in deathmatches or game modes where killing in PVP modes is important.

Meanwhile, who knew you could piss people off while stealing special crates  Had one guy chase me around the map in his Zentorno while I was on my Hakuchou, going right by him and turning around randomly honking my truck horn always gives me a good laugh :D

I was strolling down the park one day..

Wait, I already made that joke.

Worst: I miss R* vanilla deathmatches. Any deathmatch out there would be crappy scam pit fights, sniper battles, and more that's not the essence of battle that I long for.

Best: I remember this 16 player ffa deathmatch at the burger shop area near Franklin's old place. Me winning it by 5 kills. While I'm good at racing, I can happily brag my skills in pointing and shooting prove to be an asset. I plan to improve my no lock on aim soon enough.

LOL: in a corner was me, and the other side: a guy. We both saw each other in free aim. When we fired, my Advanced Rifle to his head and his Assault Shotty to my belly

DOUBLE KILL.

Yeah but it's Grand Theft Auto. A game where you 🤬 around and get killed accordingly. The only type of game out there with '100 Ways to Die' (includes Red Dead).

A good night gift to myself:

Finally got my Fist shirt last night.. And only had to chase 2 crates. The first one had someone much closer and he got to it moments before me. So I decided to call in for my Besra and fly around as high as I could to avoid attack until another dropped. After some time I see the notification and I prepare for a battle. Once the green circle appears I fly full speed toward it and jump out right outside of the battle zone. I make quick work of the NPC guards and get my goods then make my way back to my apt. feeling satisfied.

Brace for another wall because today is another episode of AnthonyD1993's bad GTA sessions.

I wound up ragequitting GTA today for the first time ever because of an idiot crew member. It all started when I was trying to get some headshots in with a couple crew members, and there were three of us doing it. Suddenly, a fourth member joined us with the intention of crashing the party. This member wound up shooting us from distances with assault rifles, and the three of us used pistols. This member wound up going 4-1 against me like this. Said member later wound up irking me to the point that I started a deathmatch with her. I going to use my trusty Special Carbine since it's my go to gun, but she insisted that I should use pistols. I obliged, and I promptly pulled out the Heavy Pistol. However, I quickly got dropped. Something wasn't right here.

I noticed that bullets were coming at me in rapid fashion in a manner that couldn't be a pistol. However, I was already mad enough, so I ignored it and just kept shooting. After being dropped once, I quickly evened up the count. I then took the lead and relished glory in the deathmatch- or so I thought. She quickly evened up the count and then got another death to my anger. I got one more kill before she nabbed me due to being wounded by the fuzz (why did the police even have to show up right then?), and went to get the last kill I could. Unfortunately for me, it ended in a 4-3 defeat.

But here is the granddaddy of rage that made me almost decide to grief the lobby (mostly full of friends and friends of friends) with a jet- this girl gloated about beating me in a deathmatch by one kill. One kill is a very hollow victory, and by the way she was acting about it, you would have thought that it shut me out 5-0. Along with being down 8-4 by a member of the crew who used cheap tactics (I found out about her not using a pistol later when I rejoined about an hour later), she blatantly killed my brother (who is timid enough at this game due to being a target for griefers) because he blew up her buzzard with a Bestra. That pretty much set me over the edge (espically when she began to follow him with a knife. I muted my mic and damn near went jet griefing, but since knew that I was angry, I just decided to shut off the PS3 instead.

I sometimes wonder why I still play GTA because I keep going through the same garbage day after day (by garbage, I mean that the crew's golden rule, no member killing unless consent is given, gets violated daily and nothing is done about it). I guess that I might be looking for some new games to play soon, and to be frank, I might put GTA away for a while. It's getting to the point where it seems to anger me more than anything. One last thing-if you're not going to actually use a weapon that you want someone else to use in a deathmatch, don't tell the other person to use it. Next time I get into a deathmatch with this girl, I'll probably just take her out with a Heavy Sniper until she either ragequits or tries to call for a truce out of despiration. I won't make the mistake of taking her weapon callouts seriously in deathmatches ever again.

The problem is that I can't run from these idiots since leaving them results in being flooded with game invites. How can I run from them when they are always playing in the private lobbies that I'm in?

The crew that I'm in is run by a personal friend of mine. The problem is that the idiot crew member was given a very high rank for some unknown reason. But since I was talking to my friend later, he told me that she either has to shape up or she'll get kicked out.

Really nice session yesterday, met two users and cruised with them while speeding from the police, only got a 4-star wanted level, pretty funny seeing our car get mashed up with blown tires. Then, after a while, ended up killing each other on the street while they cursed at each other ("🤬 you", "🤬 youuuuuuuu", "🤬 youuuuuuuuuuuuuu"), and in the end, got into a massive carnage with three other players.

So it seems the thing to do is host a mission....and let one person do all the work. I completed Trash Talk by myself, and the other 2 gained 24 grand by not doing a thing.

When I noticed that the other 2 were going to do the same thing on the mission Titan of a Job, I purposely got my self killed...forcing the other 2 to finish the mission. That's what I will do from now on if the host thinks he can just free load.

If/when they do that to me I do the mission up to the last possible point and wait. After a while they get the hint and come after me so I run away until I'm ready to finish the mission.

The worst I've dealt with is mostly races I try to stay out of Free mode
Everybody try's to ram each other but I got fed up and joined a crew (this was last year in November)

It's been a while since I've actually been in a race. In fact, I have barely raced during this stint of GTA Online, nothing like a year ago, where ALL THE TIME I was doing races (partly the reason why I got rich in little time).
