I am going to be attempting to store a Lost Slamvan2 later on tonight which will require me doing at least the 4th setup for Series A.
PS3 if anyone else is interested.

Was attempting to do the Landing Strip mission (kill some heavily armed dudes guarding a plane, steal plane and fly it to Sandy Shores airfield) with 3 randoms tonight. We'll call one of the randoms "Guy X".

Attempt 1: We manage to clear out the dudes guarding the plane, Guy X decides to fly the plane himself...and crashes it while attempting to land in Sandy Shores.
Attempt 2: Guy X tries to run me over in his baby blue Zentorno for some reason, then bum rushes the armed dudes and promptly gets killed. We eventually fail the mission as Guy X had wasted all of our Team Lives.
Attempt 3: Guy X decides to lob grenades at the dudes guarding the plane...and of course blows up the plane in the process.
Attempt 4: Guy X decides to fly the plane again...and crashes it upon landing again.

Earlier today I had a great friends-only lobby with a friend of minE (and a few of his)

Me and him were flying those crappy twin-prop planes which turn up in the Sonora desert air field and decided to do dog fights with the aim of making the other one crash. This had went for 10 minutes before I made him fly low over the sea, and then made him turn hard. His wing tip fell into the water and his wing broke off.

He flew up in his damaged plane before having to bail, at which point I was flying below him. During my smugness I didn't realise I was flying right into the path of my friend and then splat "C_E21_927DP killed friend"

After that I had to run because he was very, very annoyed at my smugness and me killing him. Damn Hydra planes and their speed and stuff.

Did you just say the Cuban 800 is a crappy plane?

Cuban 800 is love. Cuban 800 is life.

I haven't had any good adventures lately. Other than one dumb incident in a heist (which I explained in the heist thread) I've had good smooth sailing lately. I'm waiting for my streak to die in a hellfire, and that probably will happen soon.

Was playing the Humane setup where you get the key cards and one of the random idiots manages to run over the host while driving backwards into the parking lot. Needless to say, the host promptly blew their car up. Second time around the other random idiot runs over and kills me while speeding into the parking lot (I was the bodyguard). Again the host blows their car up too. I immediately left as I wasn't going to deal with those morons anymore. If you can't drive fast then don't bother at all.

Well I had another 10/10 experience with me getting a bounty. Nonetheless driving around on my bike and all of a sudden some random starts chasing me (no surprise) so I'm ducking and weaving, take him around the block 2 times and then I head to the Sandy Shores airfield, nonetheless we go past the helipad and he stops to get a Buzzard and I duck into a little train tunnel, and he tries to shoot me through the tunnel and keeps flying over and over :P

He eventually crashes the Buzzard, I make a quick dash to the airfield, see his bike and destroy it 👍 Hop onto a Shamal and head towards the east coast to find the vehicle that essentially secures my bounty. Finally get to the location and the submarine is there with plenty of time (the guy chasing is still at the airfield) and essentially head out to the deep sea to have a nice adventure.

The guy eventually catches up, finally flying a plane now and I decide to have a little game of chicken. So he's approaching real fast and I'm at surface and he gets about 30m away from me till I decide to submerge  I press R3 and all I see is his plane submerged in the water and he attempts to swim to my sub and hijack it

He dies and eventually ends up chasing me on land, then decides to grab a boat and hover over me and then try and dive to jack my sub again, then I get my bounty and dc from the lobby in the middle of the ocean

Joined a couple random Deliver EMP/ Humane Labs heist last night. Both were done easily and about 300 grand.

First Deliver EMP, one guy just barreled through the scientists and guards. I thought he'd spook them and fail, but we completed the delivery and escaped with 6 minutes on the timer.

Tried taking my rusty Rebel to the LS customs, but somebody in an armored car wasn't gonna let that fly. He chases me around, kills me, and when I get back to my vehicle, it explodes out of nowhere. So now I'm forced to go to the Mors Mutual lot to reclaim it. All I wanted to do was put a baja guard on my truck.

Passive mode, or invite-only/solo sessions.

So, finally did the Fleeca job on my main PSN. Did the set up, and Kuruma with a random. Then another joined the Fleeca heist, and that didn't go well at all.First he 'accidently' killed a hostage, failed. Restart went well, and the escape. For some reason my driver WOULD NOT drive under the magnet, that happened twice wtf. Fail again, out of frustration I rage quit.

I restarted and the person who helped with the set up joined. All went well but for some reason he accidentally bailed on the escape. I wasn't paying close attention since..well he was driving but I looked up and the car was coasting, towards the beach of all things. I panned behind me and I can see him running, and hear him on his mic "I didn't mean to do that!!" lol. Luckily he caught up before the cops did, but the copter somehow glitched and wasn't at the bridge until it was too late. Luckily the restart went well and we completed the heist. I saved the video of him running towards the car, maybe I'll post it later

I just have a usual "person starts a war and can't deal with the blowback and thus ragequits the lobby" story here. A guy started killing everyone else in a lobby and got mad when we all started killing him. I wound up trying to snipe him and failed which lead to my death. He then decided to stupidly run into a stuntplane that was nearby (big mistake since we were at the airport) and virtually everyone had homing missiles. I wound up blowing him out of the sky in revenge, and he came back into the airport trying to kill me and another friend he killed. Bozo the idiot decided to jump into a car while being sniped at, got picked off, called us all "a bunch of 🤬", and ragequit.

Joined a random Prison Bus setup. Got the prison bus, easily escaped the cops on my own, the rest of my team decided to 'defend' me and all died. Amazing.

I have had my share of randoms doing things that are counterproductive. . Recently I decided to join a Fleeca heist from a random.. He makes me the Driller...*sigh...While I burn through the hacking I hear crashing and honking.. I finish and discover we are nowhere near the bank. Upon arrival I rush in and take out the cameras and get to work. I get through drilling with no overheats (lucky run) and we jump into the car.. The driver heads the opposite direction.. *facepalm.. I began setting way points (yes, the yellow GPS is triggered as well) and explaining the situation. . He turns around after a moment or two and starts racing toward the blip.. I sigh and hope this is over soon.. It is .. My driver swerved to avoid a roadblock, jumps off the highway and miraculously lands but still ends in the ocean.. I turned off the PS.

I hate sticky bombs in this game. Whatever happened to the good old fashioned drive-by?

To be fair, it's between a single sticky bomb which is pretty much guaranteed to destroy both the target and their vehicle if they're within the huge explosive radius, and a good second or two of accurate sustained fire which can be difficult to achieve at high speed (especially when you're the driver)

There is nothing more satisfying than joining a lobby, and attacking an armed insurgent with your newly acquired attack helicopter until he leaves the lobby.

Today I dealt with some kid on GTA Online as well as some troll threatening people. Be advised, this is quite a long story.

Was finishing customizing my character. Been having a bit trouble mainly due to some 5 year old moaning about asking someone to pick me up. I tried ignoring the kid because I wanted to finish customizing my character. Then suddenly it came to the point where this kid wouldn't stop so I decided to go over to his location and help him out. When I did, I felt like it was a trap or maybe it was in a way because he was with someone who was at a higher rank then him. This person in question was at I think rank 132 while the kid was at only Rank 1. So when I went over there, the other guy pulled up his assault rifle and started shooting me. I was able to kill him and got away and I was like kid you know what, I can't help you if your with some guy who wants me dead. So I went to the mask store and the kid flew up to me in a Annihilator. I find it stupid that the kid was calling the Annihilator the Buzzard and I'm like seriously, that's not a Buzzard. Do you even know what a Buzzard looks like?

I hopped in his Annihilator and we went to go kill some guy. Surprisingly, the person we went after was the same guy that was helping the kid out earlier. The guy was in his boat. He fired his homing launcher at us but the missile missed and we managed to kill the player. What? :odd: A Rank 1 person killing someone over Rank 100 in a Annihilator? Now that's quite unrealistic in a way. So we then took his boat and we got in trouble with the cops. Through the most part the kid was pointing his sniper rifle at me. One of the most stupidest things he said is that the experience with killing some guy, stealing his boat, and then getting in trouble with the cops is like heists. That's not what a heist looks like. If he was saying it's like a heist set up I could somewhat understand that but all he said was it was like a heist. I'm sorry kid but if you're saying it's like an actual heist besides a set up, please do a heist yourself or go on YouTube and watch some GTA V Heist videos. And not only that but even if it was a Heist set up, in matter of fact, no it was no where near being a heist or a set up. All we did was we just killed some guy and stoled his boat and that's it. A heist set up would be stealing something for to use in the Heist and there was no plans for a Heist involved in this. Kid you do not know nothing about GTA Online or Heists because you just got the game by begging your parents to buy it for you. Thankfully everyone lagged out and left the lobby including the kid and was happy he was gone because he was starting to get in my nerves. Also did I forgot to mention that the kid was begging people in the lobby to invite him to a Heist? No wonder why he said that the experience was like a Heist.

Now moving on to that troll that was threatening people. So after switching lobbies, some guy in the lobby asked about who was the person with the mic that heard some pedestrians laughing in the background and wanted to know who so he can find that person's IP and kill them. He was able to find out who it was which was me. I ignored him and didn't want to get involved with this situation. So I mind my own business and went to finish customizing my character and by the time I changed my character to his green tank top, the little :censored:ing troll arrived at the clothes shop I was in and killed me. Even worse, the game was refusing to save which was close to giving me a headache.

The best thing about this was the guy failing to blow my ass up with the sticky bomb and I was beating him. I didn't report him but I wished I did because that guy truly deserves it. He threaten me with a suicide threat saying that I should kill myself and I was like oh really? How about you go kill yourself. Sorry if that was a little too edgy for GTPlanet but these type of people should go and destroy their game console and never return again because you know trolls like that shouldn't deserve a second chance. :)

Trolls never refuse using the sticky bomb and blowing your personal vehicle up. I'm hoping in the future Rockstar incorporates some type of feature where if someone blows your personal vehicle up, you should be aloud to blow the opposing player's personal car up without having to pay his / her insurance and receiving a bad sport penalty. In addition to that, that person will end up having to pay his own car's insurance for blowing your car up. 👍

*EDIT* I've been through a lot of crap on GTA Online, probably more on the PS4 then I've ever been through on the PS3 edition. But keep this in mind, when someone threatens you, report him, kill him a couple of times, annoy the living crap out of that person and leave. If you want to spice things up, put a bounty on him and leave. If that's not enough record the footage and send it to Rockstar. Because when you meet someone like that person that was going around and threatening other players to go kill themselves, make sure you share that experience with Rockstar as that's your best option since that's your number 1 option as people like that deserves to rot in the bad sport pool.

Good: Luckily found a lobby that had only players who only wanted to cruise around the map and kindly gave me advice on how to be a better player in GTAV. They were also impressed in how clean I was driving even at higher speeds in GTAV, even though I was still very new back then (only rank 8 when this happened, still not used to the fighting aspect of the game).

Bad: Later in the same lobby, some randomly named player who was level 666 used some explosive hack and constantly blew up everyone and their cars off the map. I couldn't even leave to a new lobby before I was blown away again. Ended up having to exit back to the PS3 menu and lost a bit of the money I earned earlier due to not being around for it to auto-save, and had my only car destroyed before I could insure it. :(

I wanna find out who the hell gave Satan a PS3 and a copy of GTA V now.

And oh hi PikachuRacer, didn't know you play GTA Online.

Damn that sucks, hope the dude got reported.

Whenever I join a lobby with stuff like that, I go passive and report his ass, and he leaves the lobby within a few minutes

Joined some randoms for a setup mission. Turned out to be a mistake. One of the randoms goes "Do you have a mic? If you don't we'll kick you." Not 10 seconds later I was kicked. Now I understand that using mics would be easier but come on, I could have been in the bathroom or away for a bit and couldn't reply. I wonder about some people.
