Best/Worst You've Dealt With in GTA Online

Played 2 successful Prison Break finales yesterday. It seems the 5 star glitch is no more, as it was basically almost a straight flight to the Corona. The thing of being the pilot or Demolition is wondering what's taking the ground crew so long to escape from the Prison.

I was cruising around in my Osiris over the weekend, just doing high speed runs through Los Santos. I was over near the LSC and as I took a turn I noticed there was a player in the street ahead. "I'll just mash the throttle and do a high speed flyby" I thought. As I raced down the street he quickly backed up in his car away from a parked car and just as I passed between them I was caught in a fireball and killed. I just laughed to myself, the random player got stuck with a 25k bill for my Osiris and probably didn't even see me coming at full speed.

Just attempted the Death Metal mission. Three people joined through matchmaking, and two of them proceeded to mow us two down in their cars. What arseholes. Never have I seen such rude behaviour in a mission.

That's how randoms are. Some of them just don't give a 🤬 about others. Ran into the same problems too many times for my liking while playing online.

Thing is, there's a difference between accidentally running someone over and deliberately killing your teammates.

I know. That's what I was saying. Had the same thing happen to me a long time ago when I first started going online. One guy couldn't get a ride to the location (I rode with someone there) and when he finally showed up he ran me over then proceeded to keep backing up and running me over and over again while saying "Do you like that? Huh?!" I didn't expect an adult to act like a kid (judging from his voice) but that left a rather bitter experience on me and now that I think about it, I should've left him a "present" before quitting the mission.

Every lobby... Homing launchers and RPGs... Can't do anything because all everyone uses in lobbies are RPGs... No ARs, no SMGs, no LMGs or shotguns, just RPGs... WHY??? And why can't people just drive around and show off their things in free roam? That's what it's for... Rockstar put deathmatches in for a reason but no one uses them, they just turn EVERY lobby into a war zone. WTF is wrong with people? And don't tell me to go into an invite only session. What if I want to meet new people? What if I want to show off with my 6x6, Hydra and minigun to rank 5s? You can't do those in a solo or invite only session. Does anyone know where I can meet people without everyone being ---holes?

Finally, a best for a change.

I followed this guy around, in my Virgo, without passive, and didn't get killed. Not once. By anyone.

Eventually, we drive right by this rank 300-something, he messages me "Car is fire dude." I said thanks, yours too (He was standing right next to his dark red Osiris.)

Unfortunately, my cruising buddy had to go shortly after that, but not before we had a police shootout on the end of the pier. For reference, we started up in Sandy Shores, that's how far I got driving in a pretty slow car without someone killing me.

I've been having a passive mode bug on PS3 for a while now where it automatically disables itself whenever I exit a vehicle.

To be honest, I have been quite an asshole in open lobbies lately, but this issue has lasted for a few months now.

It's not a bug, it was put in on purpose. Whenever you enter a vehicle on PS3 it disables passive mode. I learned that the hard way at the very beginning of the game...

When you're rolling with your friends and driving around town in a public lobby and some dude mows you down, le sigh.

Oh well at least we started a war zone and I never got killed :P

Playing jobs with randoms can be the worst sometimes, I remember me and another GTP fellow wanted to grind Coveted before R* nerfed it or whatever for the cash, some dude joined through matchmaking which we didn't mind, nonetheless we run through the mission once and the guy does nothing, barely moves and walks around and essentially freeloads 30k.

Well, lets just put a long story short and say that our lazy teammate of ours never ended up making any money from missions due to the amount of times we destroyed his car and didn't pay for it

I guess R* patched that now since you can't destroy a teammates personal car without paying for it :(

Are you completely sure? Have you gotten shot at when in a vehicle? Did it not hurt you? If it's doing what you're saying then you're lucky, you can get in a vehicle and not be shot out instantly.

Was flying my Swift around the big construction site and suddenly a Luxor rammed into the side of me, I barely recovered and the jet crashed into the Maze Tower, but not before parachuting to safety. Was like something out of an action movie.

Worst I have dealt with right now is that all my guns were taken away, I do not know how it happened, but I spent $250,000 on guns because of this glitch or something.

Where are you guys finding these lobbies? Every time I go into any lobby it's like world war 3... No one is ever nice and all that happens is I just get killed by ------- with RPGs.....
Free-Aim, dude. Not to sound like an elitist, but Free Aim is 100x better than auto aim, if only for that reason.

Yeah, I tried that... Same worthless RPG wielding people... Although I noticed a few shotguns, but then died by those too...

From my experience, auto shotties are what you have to worry about in free aim. A common tactic in a deathmatch is to take cover behind a building, and blind fire an auto shotgun when someone gets close.

Not only deathmatches, free roam too sadly.

The RPG neither has nor needs auto-aim to be useful. Why would a free-aim lobby have less RPG users than an auto-aim lobby?

First off, free aim has less players period. Less chances of running into a"Noob tube."

Second, I've found that most free aim user don't automatically resort to explosives the instance they see something move. Quite a few Auto aim users don't, either.

Third: Miniguns rule FA lobbies.

Miniguns... aren't really much more fun to deal with than RPGs.

Nothing this can't fix.
