Best/Worst You've Dealt With in GTA Online

I think if a modder was in a room and someone else in the room invited you and you happened to stumble upon him spraying money about you could claim innocence to Rockstar. If they could prove you did it on purpose though I think they'd ban without a second thought.

But if you claim innocence, they'll take the money away, so you wouldn't gain anything in the end.

If they catch you with modded money then either you purposely did it = banned or accidentally joined a lobby with a modder and then no money.

The second I see a modder giving out dollas, BAM, SomePlayaDude left.

From what I've read, R* is fairly confused on what to do against people receiving hacked money. They can't 100% point the finger because the modding tools sure know how to leave no traceable source (aside from eyes and ears).

Here's something that caught my eye on r/gtaonline: A small survey on players thoughts of GTA V so far. Feel free to voice your pleasure or hate on it.

Modded money usually appears under the "jobs" part of the money earned wheel. Sometimes, it appears under the other section, but its usually under the jobs section. A sudden spike can indicate modded money has been received, but its hard to track since some people gain a lot of money by farming missions all day.

Anyways, few days ago I got to play as the Beast, quite fun minus the fact that every damn time you go near any sort of AI the whole area goes crazy and people start driving crazily and running around everywhere

I've gotten Blow Up (Simeon) down to a science, from the way I group the cars together to how many shotgun rounds ($24/clip, Heavy Shotgun)--but I had something new happen.

I set the scene as I usually do and as soon as flames start to emerge from the blue Zion's rear wheel arches, I hang by the door of my car until they finally go up. Then, unbeknownst to me, one of the target cars launches high enough into the air to leave my field of view, only to land immediately beside me as I'm getting into my car, setting me ablaze and killing me thusly.

I'm calling that a Best because of the laughs.

Every day the temptation to buy a kesh kerd gets bigger and bigger... but no! I will not surrender to Rockstar's devilish ways!

You mean like when you're driving the HPV? :P

You know, a rally race is pretty hard if you have no idea how to go do the track. Let's face it.

Level 100 guy rallies with me on co-driver...

On the pretty popular drag strip that is Arms Race.
AND HE HAS NO IDEA WHERE TO GO!!
HOW?!
IT'S 2 FREAKING STRAIGHT LINES! 2!!

I'm starting to lose hope on the players if all they do is farm Heists.

Look at it this way. $100 can get you GTA$8 million, enough to fill a garage with high-end supercars that might look nice but aren't particularly practical since you'll only ever need to use a couple of them, or it can get you a USED 3DS AND A COPY OF POKEMON OMEGA RUBY/ALPHA SAPPHIRE SO YOU CAN BEGIN YOUR POKEMON ADVENTURE IN THE HOENN REGION AND MEET ALL KINDS OF WONDERFUL CREATURES, UNCOVERING THE SECRETS BEHIND MEGA AND PRIMAL EVOLUTION

Decided to return to the hellhole that is GTA Online by making a second character with the intention of transferring said second character over to the PS4 when I get one. First thing I do is a capture with friends with the clause of "no killing." That turned into a kill fest which resulted in a lot of anger and a guy going off because a modder froze him after picking off everyone. I did another capture without most of the people who were killing and had no issues. Then we did a few LTS rounds (a rockets vs Insurgents and a friends custom LTS) with some more people and had it go smoothly. At least I got from level 9 to level 13 on my character so that's a plus I guess....

So...there appears to be a permanent Off Radar glitch on the PS4....along the armed Passive mode glitch going around. I kept seeing XXX killed XX1, but XXX was not on the map, but still on the Player list.

you are right

Steps:
•Join a Random Public session.
•Go to Movie theater.
•Click on Pause>Online>Players to see if there is an option for " Join Game " to one of players in that session , Remember Player name.
•Pay 20 $ to Watch Movies.
•While inside the theater watching movies, Press Pause>Online>PlayersName>Join Game.
•Back out from Mission Lobby.
•Now you are off the radar completely, until you leave the session or Shut your console.
•Enjoy

I decided to give the Quick Job app Contact Mission another try and actually managed to have some fun for a while--long enough that a rank 40 managed to hit to 47 by the time I'd had enough--but I'm definitely done with it now...

What in the world compels someone to be so thoroughly toxic that it isn't enough to simply not contribute to a mission, but that ramming people [in a chrome Turismo R with dollar sign wheels and whitewalls--go figure] while they're trying to shoot a 🤬 ton of Ballas seems the appropriate course of action?

I didn't see it, but my brother was once in a session with randoms and failed the Mixed up with Coke because one of the randoms blew himself up as the last man alive while trying to take out a truck. His suicide at least blew up the truck, so that was sort of a plus for everyone else in the mission.

Fortunately it's not possible to outright kill others taking part in a mission, but I can't help but think this particular random went through a process of trial and error figuring out how to sabotage a mission because of this fact.

Just took part in an air race (Tight Squeeze) and, after 2.997 pristine laps with 2nd less than a second behind (I hate catchup--I was by far the best pilot participating but still couldn't manage to make a good gap), got kamikaze'd by someone not even trying to clear checkpoints.

Annoyed, I joined a public session and whipped out my Savage after seeing a bubble of players and "___ killed ___" spam. 17 kills in I was finally taken down by a Hydra, but flying low and fast Downtown is a good way to avoid homing launcher locks.

TFW when someone gets to their Buzzard first and blows your one up and then fails the mission because they blew themselves up :ouch:

Lately, all my friends and I have been doing is figure out dumb ways to fail heists. In Fleeca alone, we've blown up Lester's car and killed him, ran him over in his own car, tried to cook a grenade outside the car to kill ourselves (that didn't work for some inexplicable reason), and in general have been making him walk long distances to the Granger. Surviving isn't really important to us since everyone in my friends group has money and several (including me) have completed the Criminal Mastermind challenge- hence why being idiots in heists is more fun right now than actually doing the heist itself (friends only since I only play private lobbies and heist with friends).

Try Muskets-only Pacific Standard. :mischievous:

I'd have to switch characters for that since the one I'm currently using doesn't have one, but I'd be down for that. I'd also be willing to try explosives-only Pac Standard too. On Prison break, we've suicided into the water and also divebombed into the Buzzard blades (which was nice for me since I was demolition at the time ), but we still have a lot of setups to do since we did them normally and thus have a lot of ways to find dumb deaths yet.
