Two "Good" stories:

---

I had an awesome Hostile Takeover game with @ApexDrift123 and another friend of mine, whom we'll refer to as Bob (:P) on Wednesday.

This RPG-suicide-combo organization that we had been warring with for a good hour had killed me in Executive Search and we'd previously successfully defended my yacht in Piracy Prevention, so I felt we had to win the Hostile Takeover that they started. It was at the airport and I quickly headed over in my Buzzard and killed their VIP. Bob had entered the runways in his T20 and collected the briefcase while I landed the Buzzard to pick him up. Apex was also there along with a rival bodyguard, who killed me and severely damaged the chopper. I made it back and got in the pilot seat, only for a blind cop to ram me and blow me up...

After that I repeatedly tried to make it through the swarm of cops on the runways while fighting a bodyguard. Bob eventually collected the briefcase and hijacked a riot van while Apex kept the organization at bay. Meanwhile I managed to reach a Cargobob with a sliver of health left and hurried to where Bob was to grab his car. He told me he was in a heavy van though and instructed me to go to the multi-storey parking lot near the runway entrance. The van disappeared into the parking lot, followed by a rival bodyguard. I landed on the roof and waited under fire from the cops. Immediately after he showed up, the enemy's name tag became visible and he yelled at me to take off. We made off with the briefcase in the smoking Cargobob and went off radar. By the time we appeared on the radar again, we were at Rockford Hills, and soon we landed at the drop-off in Vinewood Hills to claim victory :D

A few minutes later I was flying in my Buzzard again when a notification came up that our enemies had started Executive Search. The VIP hid under a bridge in his blacked out Kuruma, but that didn't stop my helicopter locking on and taking him out in a record 30 seconds  We must have done well against them, because IIRC we killed them more than they killed us. Their VIP is now my Archenemy, and one of the bodyguards is my Victim. :P

Today as I was driving around in my Banshee 900R a wild turreted limo appeared in passive mode and honked at me. Naturally I got in, manned the turret and invited the driver, a rank 34, to be my bodyguard. We went on a rampage through the city, with me shooting at everything and everyone in sight. We were unstoppable and even accumulated 5 wanted stars in no time. A bit later, I called Lester to remove our wanted level and spawned my Buzzard to do Sightseer. After we did that easily, I flew us to my yacht for Piracy Prevention and it got quite heated, with three attackers parachuting onto the boat at the same time at some point. Then however, R* decided to give me a giant middle finger known as the "everyone leaves session" glitch. At least I got the 30k... :P

Drives me bat 🤬 crazy when AI drivers go the wrong way while turning into The Archipelago just across the street from the LifeInvader building as I'm headed to LSC from my Del Perro apartment.

latest

Mind you, they're skipping the first driveway on the left (to be fair, it's actually an exit).

What do you mean? Are they actually driving into oncoming traffic to get into the entrance on the right?

And the time in their previous exec search the VIP hid in the shop and shot anyone who came in . To be fair it was a pretty good tactic . Think the bodyguard was a modder , he was a level 16 and had an RPG and shot me down using a minigun , which he won't have unlocked .

Exactly. They're crossing the yellow paint instead of turning right. The actual lawbreakers aren't a big issue for me directly--I think I've had a car turn left (my right) in front of me once--but it's the domino effect that results in me needing repairs before I can perform modifications or sell.

That's still an idiotic thing. Lazy traffic AI programming right there. This shouldn't be happening.

That, and the other bodyguard only got kills via shooting an RPG and taking the easy way out. These kind of players are the scum of GTA. Glad we trumped them in the end :)

I find it easier and faster to drive on the other side of the Lifeinvader-building and continue that way all the way to LSC

I honestly think it's great. Instead of every AI-driver doing the same thing. It shouldn't happen in real life either, but I meet 🤬🤬🤬 in traffic every day. It makes it more interesting going through downtown LS at 200km/h on a motorcycle. :D ;)

I get the impression that it's like this on purpose. I've also noticed that AI drivers tend to swerve in your way a whole lot more than normal when you're, let's say, delivering a HPV (not that they ever show up these days...).

Personally, I'm most bothered by the :censored:heads who accelerate hard whenever they get the green light, even if it means slamming into the side of a certain player who's trying to deliver a car without damage. Sure, I'm the one technically breaking the law here, but those specific AI's just drive like they're trying to prove something...

I occasionally still play IV (well, the Episodes mostly) and it literally blows me away how much better you can push cars around in that game. In V, it feels like every car not driven by a player gains increased mass.

Or maybe it's the other way around, and player-driven vehicles get their mass reduced. 💡

I think it's due to the increased tire grip and mass of vehicles. Maybe gravity is exaggerated for the cars, too. When you have the moon gravity cheat activated, cars feel very sluggish and slow to respond to input.

Whoops!

I'm solo grinding and, for lack of a better option, I pick 'On Maneuvers' (steal an Annihilator). I run it the way I usually do by finding a roost and picking off combatants before rushing down with my Special Carbine for those I wasn't able to get, call up my Hydra, grab the Buzzard and fly to the Hydra, fly back and get into the Annihilator just long enough to trigger a response, and then use the Hydra to take out the jet and two choppers.

Here's where it goes wrong.

I'm flying back, quite high actually, and bail approximately as I pass over the top of Chiliad. About fifteen seconds pass and the mission ends:

"FAILED! The Annihilator was destroyed."

So...yeah...I guess my Hydra took it out.

I'm chalking that up as a "Best."

Went on for 20 minutes this morning and, on the way to the clothes shop in my secondary character, I drove past the LSC parking lot when I spotted a purple modded Sentinel (parked right outside LSC). I thought it was a player car when I saw it but when I got in it I was able to enter LSC, so I sold it for a quick 18k. That was the good. Then, for the second day in a row, I was clothes shopping when a player thought I was a prime target for killing. I absolutely hate that you can't use weapons in the clothes shop even when there's someone outside with a Special Carbine shooting inside. Yesterday I ended up blowing up the griefer's Zentorno with a grenade before dying (taking my pink Carbonizarre with it) but today I couldn't even use any weapons in the store. Took him almost 10 minutes to kill me, after putting a 9k bounty on me.

I also ended up earning about 300k yesterday with the double cash on missions, buying the Carbonizarre for my secondary. Hoping to get a Dukes (or maybe save for a 9F Cabrio or Coquette) today.

Short story from a few days ago:
>logged into random server
>decided to take Monroe for a drive
>leave garage
>VIP takedown event occurring
>lol ok
>driving through city peacefully
>VIP on map
>approaches me
>typical armoured Kuruma
>starts pelleting my car with bullets
>over this noob already
>stop the car
>drives past me and stops
>I throw sticky in front of his car
>drive off
>follows me
>boom dead
>no insurance paid (aw yee)
>respawns
>insta-leaves lobby

I ponder why players try to bother me in the first place when I'm minding my own business

Ran into a duo, with the driver/pilot using some sort of Passive Mode glitch. Whatever vehicle he used appeared solid, but it was as if he was in Passive Mode. First the passenger killed me as they drove by. I then noticed the driver heading in my direction and tried to climb a ladder but didn't make it in time.

He was honking his horn at me I guess in attempt to show off his God Mode ability. Not taking chances since I didn't know who the shooter was, I fired my RPG point blank. The RPG killed me but his car had no damage whatsoever. I then knew he glitched a passive mode since he didn't shoot me.

These two then chased down some other victims so I collected a chopper and managed to kill the passenger a few times when they were separated. By then the duo decided to get a Valkerie. I tried to head them off at the helipad but didn't make it .

I was blasted a bunch of times, and the homing launcher could not get a lock on them. I finally reached safety so these two took off for other victims.

Yesterday I got online, with the intention to do my last daily objective, "Fall for 100 meters and survive", and then quit. Joined a crewsession. Ended up getting the "pigs don't fly-award" from bronze and 3 choppers shot down, to platinum and a bunch of extra choppers shot down after causing mayhem with @superstreet556 and his Insurgent. The most fun I've had in a while on GTAO 👍

I was on my new character (currently sitting at level 31) in my Panto. Just got out of LSC in between Rockford Hills and Vinewood and a VIP was approaching (later turned out that there was two people in the car but that didn't show up on the map, I guess because of the VIP symbol). I drive up against a wall in the LSC parking lot (the one at 3 o clock when exiting the garage door) and then a chase ensues. I crash, and they start throwing stickies at me. As I'm driving away, I'm sure they have at least one on me, so I'm prepared to die, but then I hear an explosion and it's not coming from my car. They blew themselves up! I sent him a messages saying "nice" and about 5 minutes later he sent me a message that said "SCUMBAG" I never even done anything to him at all. Sometimes I'd like to understand how these people think but other times I think I'd just be better off leaving them alone. It was pretty funny.

Don't you realize how awful of a person you are for just minding your own business and causing no harm to anyone?

That's why I play invite only lobbies most of the time , and when I do play in a public lobby , which is rare , I play passive , unless there's a freemode event , when after I just go back into passive .

I just hate killing people , getting griefed and mugged ( but I always bank my cash ) and losing 100 dollar or something everytime I die . I use my Hydra for missions and flying for fun with my friends but I don't grief .

I love it when people can read the situation.

I accepted an invite to a [Hard] Humane run from a friend who has been trying to unlock the Insurgent(s) for the longest time but has been running into the worst randoms. I'm still only about 60% audible after this bug, so I didn't have a headset, but neither did anyone else.

Key Codes
was the closest call but the group managed without any deaths.

Insurgents
went without a hitch--I haven't been a driver in the longest time, so that was a nice change. No deaths.

I got the Hydra during EMP, downed the fewest Lazers but still got platinum (sadly my only one on the run) thanks to my efforts on the boat. No deaths.

Valkyrie
is where the aforementioned situational awareness came into play; our pilot wasn't as good as you'd like (took a number of hits from the Buzzards), but he/she seemed to understand that when I wasn't shooting (I was on the forward cannon) it was because I didn't have a target, and they promptly got one in my sights. No deaths.

Deliver EMP was nerfed twice but we still managed to stay alive.

Same pilot on the finale as during Valkyrie, and I was gunner on the forward cannon again. Ground team took a while--the friend was down there with a rank 38 who may have been overly cautious--but the pilot again kept targets in my sights. No elite bonus (time), but again, no deaths.

Friend unlocked the Insurgent(s). :P

I don't even know what to think.

I just had a 1v1 deathmatch with a 3 year old. I'm not even kidding.

I could hear the dad on the mic saying "dude my kid's just trying to ride the roller coaster stop shooting" or something like that. I don't understand how someone could let a 3 year old play GTA...

Wow... Parent of the year lol. I really don't get where parents think it's ok for young kids to play GTA. There is nothing "kid friendly" or appropriate about the game. Get Roller Coaster Tycoon if he wants to ride the roller coaster!

Its extremely annoying when you can here kids/babies on the other end of the mic but I doubt a 3yr old is even aware of the adult themes in GTA let alone be affected by them.
