Leave traction control on. And even that doesn't help. My dad's 2010 GT fishtails even on the stock A/S Pirellis. However, my bro got these Bridgestone Sport Comp -2s that are pretty good in rain. You can replace your Michelins with those when they wear out.

Hmm that or I can save up for a beater. :P

Good thing about Having a beater is that it pretty much pays itself since you will be spending much less in gas, and you can keep the mustang's mileage down plus you'll appreciate it much more. On the other hand you have the reasoning that if you buy the car and put money into it you might as well use it as often as you can.

Corny idea: have a custom graphics shop/guy to redo the middle part of the side graphics on your car. You know how it says "CS"? Now make it read "SC". Oh yeh.

True. I'd love to drive it as much as I can but in the wet this thing is not fun to drive. All that power on summer tires...

Not a bad idea really but after you mentioned that I found out there is a Shelby GT/SC. I don't want to be that guy that seems like a poser. :P

My friend's 2008 GT-CS has a fair bit less power, and he gets scared when he has is Toyo track tyres on it. He keeps a set of All-weathers on his stock rims, and uses those when it rains.

We actually anticipated rain one day, and at lunch drove to his house and helped him change the tyres. Most fun Off-Campus lunch ever.

Anywho, I'd go for it. Anything to make it more livable in the winter.
Besides, you lot don't even have to worry about the snow down there!

I finally had the balls a few days ago to turn off TC and do a mild burnout in her... It was amazing.

And, just cause:

Nope nothing new gonna wash her this weekend in preperation for a car show next Saturday. Hopefully arrive in a group of mustangs. Should be fun. :D

In other news I've recently fallen in love with the new Cayman/Cayman S. Maybe in a few years when I pay this off I can buy a used 2013 or something. If not maybe get something slightly more practical than the Mustang. Like a used RS4.

Nice take some pics of the show and post them here. If you can.

EDIT: no mustang all the way!!

True it is a lot of fun. The RS4 route would hopefully include the stang staying in the stable as well. ;)

...Aaaand finally here is the dyno sheet.

As you can see if it was allowed all the way to 6500rpm it still put out a little more HP.

Ill admit I didnt read the whole thread, but are you still runing a stock clutch? Id be interested to see what it rusn 1/4....

Aslo, what gear was this pull done in?

Stock clutch, haven't raced it. Not sure what gear I wasn't there when they Dynoed it. There is a video though.

Im sure it was in 4th just curious that was all. Im surprised your clutch has held up, my buddy did some testing on the GT's back in 2010 for Bounderant and destroyed some clutches. Maybe they actually listened to his feedback and improved them from the test cars

Hmm, yeah the clutch has held up perfectly fine as of now. It was completed in July of last year, it gets driven every weekend. Sometimes during the week here and there. I don't drive it too hard, I get on it everytime I drive it but rarely have I gone all out with it.
Thing I am worried about is that two piece drive shaft.

Upload video please? :D

It's not very impressive, they just did a quick video just before it did a pull then promptly cut it... but here it is:

Yeah, I know. :scared:

We need in-car videos soon, BB!

Glad to see you're still enjoying her. :)👍

Yeah I really want to get some professional pictures done. I also still want to purchase a GoPro.

Of course, she's a ton of fun. I'm going to do a rally with a bunch of other cars. 100 miles around the SF peninsula. Lots of exotics but there should be some Camaros, probably some ZL1s. Hopefully at least will be some GT500s. I might be the minority. :P

if you are the only mustang show them why mustangs are the best!

Tomorrow i'm going to the Good Guys car show in Pleasanton, CA. Attending the autocross there. First autocross so i'm not expecting big things. But apparently the buddy i'm going with has another friend that has a Hexacopter which he's going to film us with. I don't know how that's going to work but i'm interested!

Well this is pictures of cars that are attending although I don't think this is the full list. This is just people who supplied the facebook page with pictures of their cars that are attending.

PS: This Gulf Aston Martin is joining!

EDIT: Son of a... sorry double post. :(
