Just took it for a spin and got Bronze. Great car, very happy with it. Will have to give this a proper go once I fix my sticky brake pedal. Its sticking just enough to slow me down. It only happens after I apply the brakes, showing about 1/4 brake pressure on the HUD display. If I tap the brakes, it releases the rest of the way. I think I may need to clean them inside or blow them out. Any suggestions on this. Thanks.
I had the exact same problem with my G27 brake pedal after about a year. Took it apart, removed the pedal and spring assembly and literally lubed every single moving part. I used Permatex White Lithium Grease from Autozone.
I have not had any problems since. I did strip one of the screws on the pedal itself, which was a b*** to get off, so be careful with those.
Hi everyone
Where can I find online leaderboards for seasonals in gt6?
Why do people hate SRF? Do people really like to be challenged that much.
I enjoy playing the game with some aids on, am I not die-hard GT dude?
So the top times are using SRF?
So the top times are using SRF?
Good to know, thanks.on leader board you can click on anyone to see his/her driving condition, what tyre or what control method one could be using. all top timers indicate they switched SRF 'ON'. actually to score that kind of times its impossible without using SRF.
Are majority of the top times are also using the E-Brake into turn 1, and a couple guys trying it thru turn 3? I heard earlier about some e-brake shenanigans from a friend but I was running SRF off before so it seems like I'm a little bit slow with the trends...
Sounds like a good idea. At least it would lower the "SRF is for losers" post count.... They can keep srf optional, if they separate the times with it on and off.
Isn't the ebrake the regular brake as opposed to the handbrake? or do I have it wrong?
cool ... I always thought it was the opposite. This made me think about something though... what about cars that don't have a handbrake? A lot of them only have the "hand brake" as a foot pedal... how do they use that in racing? if they don't shouldnt it be removed ingame?ebrake (emergency brake) and handbrake are the same thing, at least where I come from.

apart from available intake and exhaust upgrades, back ballast weight seems the only option to improve your handling balance to improve your time. i did 60kg at the very back (50/50) to improve by 2 secs. 80kg (49/51) seems to be too much my lap time deteriorated.
Is it really an achievement beating someone to the first corner? I can beat anyone to the first corner if I don't brake...Well the girlfriend is having a camp so I've had 1/2 dozen runs and have improved slightly to 2:11.176, a couple of tenths better.
Still beating Cargo to Dunlop corner #8 and often beat the Bandit to the first corner.
But as Cargo says, it doesn't count unless you can string them all together.

Yes, it's the same as all the cars that are only autotransmission in real life but can be driven with manual in game. Would love it if they specified that in the car info and then disabled manual tranny, handbrake or whatever is missing on the real car. Would be cool. You are correct in that some cars have the emergency brake operated as a foot pedal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parking_brake I see what you are getting at, but you have to remember, this is just a game and it is not always completely true to real life.
True but still you can use the foot pedal as a "ebrake". it just take more practise. You are correct in that some cars have the emergency brake operated as a foot pedal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parking_brake I see what you are getting at, but you have to remember, this is just a game and it is not always completely true to real life.

I have seen it my own eyes.
Sitting in the passenger seat in an old mersedes when buddy of mine felt a little childish during winter time
I'm just about to have my first go at it since Thursday, got quite a lot of time to find! Hopefully I can make it two GTP tags in the top ten! Finally hit a .7xx for P3, scary how im still 6 tenths off
