Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

Haha beautifull!! Finally a corner after a while. I knew you could do it. Everyone can do corner shots, but you were just worried if they'd turn out as good as your straight blurs huh ;)

It adds alot of feel to your gallery I must say:tup: Awsome work, definatly not lacking quality compared to your other updates in any way.

Beautifull!! :) 👍

Now this is one of my favorite updates from you! Covered all the angles, got some really unique shots! Really good work!

I love this update, the high zoom shots work best with this style I think. The photo of the Skyline from above really is quite something!

great set of udpates here. well done! it's funny how you're doing these simple shots and i'm starting to experiment with motion blurs with photoshop :D keep 'em coming ultra. and when's the next podcast gonna be up ? or did i miss it alreadY?

Thanks for all the feedback, how ironic it may sound, you people seem to enjoy this more then a single picture with 3 hours of work on it

Quantity, not quality ;)

Seriously - it's not the fact that they're a bunch or anything - they just convey the action so directly (at least, some of them)... Though, I wonder what you'd do with Dead_Poetic's blurring-techniques for turns.

Simple = Beautiful!!! Lovely update Ultra!! Sometimes simple shots are much better than fancy shots. Well done:)

Very true what he said. I think it's just the feel for action.
I look at these pictures, and instead of thinking "oh he's good at photoshop", I really feel like doing that race myself as soon as I turn on GT4 ;)

It's something extra with something less (time) if you know what I mean ^^
Though believe me you can waste terrible amounts of time on corners too if you'd want to. That's your choice ;)

I think it's a great update.

The fact that it's so different from what you were doing, and it's still very well done deserves praise.

I really like the Woodone Supra coming on the turn, the angle, aperture and the way the tarmac looks is very good job. Bbut I like them all anyway.

Good use of the median filter aswell.

All in all, congratulations for showing everyone you're not just a ''440 Charger wannabe" :) 👍

btw, will your new avatar be used as a sig for pics? Looks classy :)

Thanks, I'm just using it as an avatar :)

Nissan 350Z @ New York
March 21st, 2007

A picture with a whole new direction towards cleaning, no blur filters were used to clean up at all. Instead, I began cleaning with the smudge tool, more towards Charger's technique although I figured out the smudge tool has to be used with great care, it easily can ruin a reflection. Like this picture  I'm new to the smudge tool and everything starts at the beginning so surely I will get more used to it but it takes time 👍 I didn't bother to get rid of the noise created by the radial blur though, too lazy I suppose, tell me what you think ;)

Sonuva 440-fanboy... Another one? I just watched his 350Z, and when I saw the 'new message' and opened it, I thought something went wrong and sent me to 440's thread. Same concept, with the double-car split and the colored (afro-american) version...

Nice blurring, but I have to say, the reflections need a lot of work. The side of the car looks (sorry to say it so bluntly) horrorible, and the lower rear bumper is also not that good... I'm terribly sorry, but it just doesn't cut the mustard. How about a little use of the blurring-tool before, between and after the smudging?

On a plus side, the blurring of the road is basically perfect, and the wheels are so shiny and sexy...

You don't have to say sorry for that, that's what these forums are for 👍 Gives me more motivation to improve on it 👍

But mind you, this is my first picture which I have completly cleaned with the smudge tool so off course it looks different :)

I did read the text, after all... But still, just a simple look at the whole, and you can easilly see what's to improve. The reflections just lost that 'shmooth' feel - the bumper is too 'crowded' - the reflections are partly blended in yellow, and partly normal, yet not straight. And the side of the car just requires a good look at it to notice those vector-style lines... You need to work on it, but it's got great potential 👍

Well I see 2 worlds in this picture apart from the 2 colourshemes. 1 world is fabulous cleanup as I am used to from you. The doorlines etc are very well done. The other world is the colour just behind the door. There is too much contrast between the two yellowtones for my taste. The lines are very clean but I like it when the go into eachother fluently.
Apart from this everything is great. The blur looks marvelous, the reflections as always are also very nicely done. Keep on smudging and you'll be pleased by the results more and more ultra.

cheers

I'm amazed that you made it look like this with your first time smudge-only clean. Nice job.
Wierd that my only comment is that the rims look very wierd, like it's been reshaped or something...
For the rest it looks very good 👍 Maybe the reflections are a bit...not-fluent but well, won't expect everything to be perfect immediatly :)

Very nice as always Pink but, am I missing something; why do the wheels look like they are going to eat someone?

This update looks pretty good Ultra. Definetely not your best, but you did an excellent job with the colors and blur. The blur would look better if you applied an additional radial blur of like 3 or 5 pixels after your larger blur and after you merged all your blurred layers, but it still is well done. And the colors really pop. I like the lighting. But continue to work on your clean-up methods. I would definetely try to use some blur filters as opposed to doing it all with the smudge. I know I have said that I use mostly smudge, but I do throw in some smart blurs quite often. And you should try cleaning up the wheels too. They look good, but just a little bit of smoothing on the contrasty parts makes a big difference. Again, it looks pretty good, but practice makes perfect.👍

A very nice Shot Ultra I guess you could title it 'Two sides two everything' because the change of colour in the shot looks as if it is at night in a place like Tokyo.👍
I love the cleaness and angle of the shot!👍

I really love this update!👍 :D

Great shots...really beautiful....a very good quality...but the rims?? Looking weird.
Still a very good "Ultra" update:)

Nice update Ultrashot as ALWAYS. I have a few questions though:
When are you going to do the next podcast ultrashot? Seemed to have waited a while.
Also congrats on becoming a Premuim member I don't think you where one before but if you where before then it doesn't really matter. But congrats any way.
