Rolo btw, just saying, in race 1 I made sure to lift every single time I misjudged a bend or cut the right left bit etc. I made sure I either gained nothing or lost time.

If I didn't I probably would have had more than 10 secs lead, which is ironic.

Again just saying.

Fuji should be great I wish it was the F version but GT should still be decent .

Will go online later for some quick testing at Fuji

Yes, and I'd rather be able to enjoy a beer after the race; than be watching everything again! ;)
Not saying I don't enjoy being steward; I just don't have all the time in the world!

i take it you guys had a practice race then??? What were lap times like???

I'll be online tonight if anyone's gonna be around

I may be late on Thursday, in which case I'll ask skeng or Scania to set up the room and do the Race 1 procedures and such.

I won't get a reserve to take my place as I kinda need the space to be there when I turn up :sly:

I may make it on time after all, let's wait and see :)

Practicing in my lounge at the mo - this really isn't a Honda track!

Might not make it tmw rolo & skeng due to family stuff :( but will let you know nearer the time 👍

So I might make tonight but I ask can I run the VW at 1320/1330?

I'm never going to be in the championship abd if it proves to be too much then you can put VW back to 1350.

Oh and my aussie mate will be watching so he can back me up, that everything I do is clean.. :sly:

OK, I'll allow all VWs to be 1330kg tonight, as I'm curious to know what would happen (and it's a beautiful day and I'm in a generous mood :sly:)

The VW is no easy car and in no way the fastest but if driven right it's not that far away. It just sucks on braking, cornering and acelleration. 20kgs should help those areas be a little better..

It'll still be a mad car but a little easier than before.

Personally I was running faster at 1350 on Fuji, 1330 felt strange and I had more understeer.

Will play about with set up at 1330 as it might need some slight adjustments.

Use 1350 if it suits you better 👍

Yeah, i thought it was me only. Checked some router settings, but nothing helped. Hopefully next time.

Troublemaker! :sly:

*facepalm* I was late returning home, I was hoping that I might make it with a minute or so to spare, but no luck.

Well, a disaster for Race 3... A DNF due to Wheel going kaput in Lap 3...
Second time my Gear Knob has come off this year - and I struggle to drive with Paddle Shift - so called it a day.

Very good racing in the vast majority of cases tonight. Will have a check over for run-off use and whatever either tomorrow evening or Saturday, but I'm much happier with it than at Monza.

VW weight drop seemed to work well, 1330 it is for now. 👍

acelera has voluntarily dropped to a reserve role, although judging by the turnouts lately, he'll be good to go every week anyway.

I must admit, I only made a late pitstop in R2 to pick up a point for leading a lap.
