On or around 22.0 is a good safe pace for me. Seen some 21.3/4/5's hot lapping but they're a bit risky and I crash half the time trying to finish them.

Seriously can't believe you run default suspension rolo! Do you leave the LSD default aswell? If I get time I will have a go at a basic tune for you. DS3 right?

EDIT: Sent you a tuned '04. I know yours is an '01 but can't differ by much. No wing, no turbo, I managed a 21.930 with DS3 (which I haven't used for months). Steady low 22's mainly though.

I don't think I'm on form at the moment really either.. have been pretty tired and I don't get as much practice time these days. Plus I'm using a new FF car having got so used to the Ford over 2 seasons, so I'm a little off.

No problem. It may be of no use to you but I thought it was reasonable. I won't be offended if you hate it I guess tunes always come down to personal taste/driving style. Hence there is no such thing as a perfect tune.

Be on in 30ish. Getting a quick power nap in.

Mazda appearing to be a very awkward little beast.. setting the same times at Cape Ring at 1219, 1250, 1270 and 1300.. adding weight improves its traction, which is already its major strength.... might just have to leave it alone and then possibly retire it (again) at the end of the season if it's unmanageable (which it isn't I don't think at the moment) 👍

It's pretty handy in the corners too so best of both worlds. Shame it was a hasty late addition otherwise more people might have chosen it. Not me, I'm die hard FR, but others maybe.

Edit: Pretty sure the Mazda took a clean sweep of fastest laps, lead a laps and obviously the pole for R2. It's quick all right!

I never saw him in person but his arrow marker on the map was constantly spinning for the whole race. I really wanted to pit early on lap 5 but worked out I would come out next to him so gave it a miss. Didn't want to risk getting lag punted.

Had fun in Race 3. Some nice tactical stuff 👍

Figured out why I had lag in R1,

Mrs got a new laptop and it was trying to connect to the PS3 as a media server (turnt that option off now), didn't realise it was me until mid race so decided to stay in the pit.

Had black screen at the start so the only person I seem in race was Andy but knew it was me at that point so hung back till I hit the pit.

What's the deal with the next race as its night yeah? Is it set time or getting lighter?

Just a thought but what about limiting it to using just 5 gears? And as a fail safe set 6th as long as it'll go so even if you forget and shift into 6th it doesn't accelerate. If it's mega torquey it shouldn't slow it down by much if that's what you think it needs?

Or ban it from using a turbo? Can see in replays if it has the extra boost gauge or not <--- this one at least has an authentic 'TOCA boost regs' vibe to it. Like they did with the Yuasa Honda Racing Civic.

There are ways other than just adding weight.

I hope for GT6 each car's weight and hp is clearly visible from the lobby when they are in the pit lane/on track. It would make it so much easier to spec cars for near identical performance.
