That's fair enough Rolo.

I'm sure that you'll be watching the qualifying closely and making sure that everyone is behaving.

So a disconnect is now an engine failure instead. I like that.

Prior to all sessions, can we ensure that all drivers can see each other on track. This was an issue before that made a mess of a qualifying session. It would be nice if we can avoid it happening at all times, I hate it when there are 2 drivers that can't see each other.

Absolutely. I hope to be able to get another steward in too. I know it might sound disproportionate but the only way we can really penalise bad driving in Pre-Q is with race bans. Warnings and time penalties will probably do nothing to help in most cases. The only thing we can really do is penalise drivers for future events and say "you can't qualify next week". Causing trouble in pre-Q could lead to a season-long ban a lot quicker than it would in Main Races, so be aware of that. I will be saving the replays and checking afterwards like any other race.

Well yeah, best to use an analogy where required :sly:

Yes, good point, especially before pre-Q. I will accept it if you can't see one other guy, but if it gets silly then I'll ask you to go do something about it, but we can't hang around all night. I may have to reach a point where we go regardless.

I think this happend tonight in the early parts of race 2. Scany and another driver (can't remember name) were just behind me, with quite a bit of rubbing and smoke. Not sure if they could see each other on track.

Nightmare. :(

I've seen it happen regularly in various room's. It's usually fixed by both people rejoining the room, but sometimes people don't speak up and say that they can't see someone on track.

In a Nascar lobby, everyone would join the track and then type into the chat how many people they could see on-track. It's a simple way to avoid unnecessary collisions, it takes a minute to do, but the benefit of doing this check are well worth the time spent making it. :)

Can we have a host waiting room, for players locked in like me
If we have a named host by rolo then rolo only got to post that player.

Then host tells rest it's time to join rolo rooms.
Just means we can get in do some testing, when waiting.
Just an idea that's all

do not worry. it seems this serie needs far more tuningexpertize than i hoped for, or maybe i/car sucks.... i was so uber outgunned every straight it was just frustrating.

i'll cool down and if i have enough free time i'll start tuning the car, else, we'll i'll be prequalifying lol

I'll definitely have to pre-qualify, on average I'm about a second off the pace in qualifying. Maybe try running an FF? I prefer FR usually but I know I wouldn't be able to do a whole race without spinning, especially with the pressure of being slower than most. And contact is much less likely to end your race in an FF, its definitely the safe option.

The test session was a difficult one. The Genesis was really struggling for straight line pace, yet seemed decent through the corners. I'm going to have my work cut out for this car.

I've tried the Genesis too. It's actually a really nice car to drive, it takes the bends really well, top speed isn't so great but the tyre wear was very low too. I haven't got the balls to drive an FR but that Genesis is good.

Yeah I think the Genesis is the most well-balanced of the frs. Couldn't bring myself to take a hyundai over a bmw or Nissan though.

if i do get to the tame the bmw i think it will really be good

what are the ff guys getting at spa ?

im sorry for last night guys, i was in GT300 test. i was then on my way but it disconected me from the GT server, i then couldn't sign into PSN. strange as i've never been dc from 'GT server'

Yes mate but im not a massive fan of wet race's and sure as heck not every week.:scared::lol:
well if it doesn't train in the real world racetrack it won't train in our race... we have yet two have a full set race after 6 rounds, the max we had was a bad shower with like 45% water on track for 30 mins.

this week it's nur 24h... up for it or wsit for next week? ;)

Running a proper race night sim at Spa this Thursday. Including the pre-Q routine and everything.

Obviously nobody will be going home after pre-Q, I just need to run through the format and make sure everything works.
