OK, I'll add that to the list. 21 cars now, but I think I've got a good idea of the 6-8 we'll end up agreeing on :)

The Primera is surprisingly fast! Still no fine tuning of the cars?

Would it help your testing if I used the Primera tonight?

Think that could be very helpful. Do you have one ? I've got a Primera up to spec I can send if you don't.

Edit: we might need to consult geeky on this, after all it's his series :)

It's worth noting how the bottom 7 slowest cars (now I've tested the 406) are within 0.5 seconds of each other. Maybe worth thinking about for a Class B series, perhaps.

I meant a separate series run on a different day. Same rules as this, but different drivers, cars etc. Might happen.

Thanks to those who attended tonight. If you want to share lap times/tyre comments from tonight's race then please feel free.

Focus did a 1:22.2 at best (so roughly matches my one-lap pace), but was more consistent in the 1:23s.... and down to 24s when the tyres were at their worst. Wear wasn't too bad.

Please check my post in the S2 thread about testing :)

@Geeky, can you add Seat Ibiza Cupra '04 to the OP list please :)

Guys I don't know if my opinion matters in this thread but I have a fully tuned '90 primera and with all chassis lightening upgrades its too light for the regulations (comes in at 1198kg when minimum for FF cars is 1200, even with maximum 200kg ballast) I also have done tests with the newer '01 primera and with the power limit at 305bhp it has quite a low PP score. Might be too slow?

Hope this helped

You don't always have to fully upgrade your car to meet the regulations - I know that my car runs about 483 PP, it's just that 490 is the upper limit that your car isn't allowed to exceed. PP is a strange thing, I've gone faster in testing with cars that are 465 than cars that are 478/480. The Vectra, for example, is 474 but is really a bit rubbish, I dunno how the Team Slow boys wring so much speed from it!

Opinions always welcome :)

Ok well glad to hear that opinions are welcome! By the way since Rob is leaving the series at the end of this season does it open up a slot on your team? I'm looking to continue this season as a privateer in my yellow focus, then maybe join a team to contest the whole of next season. What are your thoughts?

It's actually Rob's team, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I don't know if he's leaving at the end of the season or right now, I didn't really catch what he was saying!

To be fair, in S2 right now there are 3 car teams, so you're always welcome to join up with us if you want. Privateers are good too though (do you have a team name for your private outfit, by the way?)

I'm not sure what my S3 plans are yet car-wise, I'll decide at the end of the season or after it, most likely. Depends on what cars are selected to be used! I'd be happy to run a team with you though :)

Well I think he said race 2 last night would be his last. Good that he won his final race! Well I would be happy to join you guys as a 3 car team as long as Rob is happy, and since I don't have a name for my 1 car privateer outfit I think that would e great. Yes I think it's too early to be thinking fully about next season, so I don't have any plans. My early plans to run the primera I don't think where wise, it's a bit slow and it shreds tires around deep Forrest!

Welcome to the ICS plc team then! We usually run our cars white with different colour rims, but keep the yellow and black if you like :)

No cars are banned yet, Geeky asked for the 135 to be run and if the Integra proves too fast (which looks very likely) then it will be taken out of the running.

the integra is 2 second faster then civic and other in our tests. also in the other topic they said it's banned.
