Fair use policy? :nervous:

As for tuning/set-up, cars must be run to S2 regulations (305kg, 1200/1400kg, Sports:Soft, 490PP). Treat it like a race, so set-up work is allowed.

If you come 1st on your own, then you win. The team will have to go elsewhere. If a team driver wins, you'll have to look at another car.

HUA to that (if you don't know, HUA means Heard, Understood and Accepted :) )

I like this idea. Now to think up a track.

Geeky isn't a fan of DLC circuits I don't think, which is a shame since I thought of Spa. Straights for speed, slow corners, long corners, fast corners. Pretty varied.

Maybe La Sarthe with chicanes (if not too long) as a non-DLC substitute. I don't think it should be a city circuit. Easy to cheat off walls, perhaps.

Hmm, too much variation I think. It would be too easy to blame a slow time on not knowing the track.

Make a track that no-one knows that way it's fair but keep it a secret so were all in the same boat.

Yeah. Get a non-competitor to create a track. Someone we know.

Your system does require a lot less work , with 3 cars per team I think everyone should get what they want regardless

There's 2 cars per team in Season 3.

It is far, far less taxing. I'll do some maths and see who's where at the mo.

I imagine karsten, that if drivers want to team up, it works similarly to my proposal? For example, if a driver high up the list of 'reverse points per race' chose a car, would his team-mate follow?

I think S2 drivers should have priority in the choosing (sorry rallymorten, but you don't score points so technically you're not an S2 driver :sly:)

Sure, keep an eye on this thread and sign ups will be open in the next couple of weeks. :)

You're still welcome to race at the end of this Season 2 to get a feel for it though :)

Yeah, thats a good idea. Who do i need to add on PSN to get in the lounge.

Do you guys allow the driving line... i still rely on it for some tracks, slowly trying to phase it out!!!!

I'll use the Civic Type R since that's still available

Add Geeky30 :)

Driving line is allowed.

OK, with the Civic you'll have to run as an independent then. Do you have a name for your independent team?

the above list makes sense to me.

So, I think we have two proposals to choose from.

karsten's Points Per Race method, or mine and killa's 2-lap shootout method.

What do people prefer?

My vote is the 2 lap shootout

I recon personally that the points-per-race system is best because some people such as myself (and I know some others) aren't the greatest at fast laps, but can race well consistently ( I personally don't race consistently but I know some people Race better than they qualify)

I think they both have pros and cons.

karsten's method is a lot quicker and easier to run but there is the potential that some of the results could be biased.

Mine and killa's method is perhaps slightly fairer, but of course will take time to do and doesn't help people who aren't good with one-lap pace.

justwant to point out that my method doesn't use just a race, but for most drivers it uses over 10 races vs 2 laps.

I think I will count for points Rolo, I've changed to Ebay's 3rd driver :sly: I don't want to fight the toads over a gd FF car when I know Ebay would like me :D

Put em up

Well, honestly car doesnt matter that much to me. I have a history of RWD cars and I find these easier to control. But if it turns out a Seat is available I just might take it :)
