I don't think we should be able to include Evolutions as they are a Japanese car. They are sold exactly the same in Japan as they are over here in the UK/Europe. Wheras, as zombiebuggin pointed out, the Focus is actually a different car in Europe to what it is in America.

I'd class the Focus as a UK car anyway.
 
Damn! That's the car I chose! Though I went a different route with the parts, I might change my car now……
And the Evo was only an example, don't take it too seriously…
So………what's the challenge? :D

There's no need to do that! I'm sure the Z4 will be competitive. That car hadn't really crossed my mind to be honest. It'l be interesting to see how you two fair against each other.

Looking forward to this season. Once again, I've done my usual trick of a sheer power tune :lol:
 
Actually, looking at the parts sheet, I've only got one different part on my car…and that's the tyres…
And if I come across a RS4 (My first choice, until the UCD and I became enemies), I'm changing to it…
Now c'mon, it's July 1st already, what's the challenge? :D
 
Easy there. Whenever I set dates I go by my time: Eastern Standard Time. It's still the evening of June 30 over here, but, considering some of our competitors come from elsewhere, I think it would be in our best interests if I did make the announcement early.

So, here we go.

Your European automotive journey will begin here, on a lap of Rome Forward, Dry. You will have until July 7, 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to post a lap.

All late entries, meaning, those who have not yet submitted a car yet, be sure to submit your car specs along with your time.

Ok, I'll be emailing the car specs very soon, if my email address looks funny, it's a school one. So no mocking it. :) And do I need to send anything as proof for the lap time? Like a picture, or the replay?
 
Nope. Wheels and paint aren't factored into the price, as they're purely cosmetic and the so-called loss of weight that custom rims purportedly carry is so little as to not be important.

My rules say you should take a picture of the lap time and send it as proof. A photo of the screen or a screen capture itself are fine.

Oh this isn't good :lol: It'l certainly make this season interesting anyway.

Hopefully, with it being a big 4WD car, it'l understeer more on a track like Rome :P

I was looking for one of those but couldn't find it so settled on my second choice. Guess what I find today for 3000 less than what I paid for my car, that bloody RS4.

Yes I did, had a bit of a go in the RS4 and it has far too much understeer for my liking so I wouldn't of chosen to use it in any case.

It's a weapon in a straight line though

I am so glad you said that :P haha. I was hoping that would be the case, because if not, I'd have kicked myself for not waiting around to try and find one.
 
Ah you see, that's where my secret weapon comes in…:mischievous: It has something to do with one of Roj's friends :D
 
Fair enough then. Well its not cheating if you've taken it out of your budget, its smart :P

But I guess the RS4 has enough power to begin with to warrant just tuning the suspension and leave the power alone.
 
I didn't do that………I think the jetlag got the better of me, cuz when I got it, I remembered thinking '395hp?! That's so little! Let's shoehorn as much POWERRRR as we can into it :D'
 
Ahh right. But you did take the cost of the fully customisable suspension out of your 65,000Cr budget didn't you?

You've already got more power than me, but mines only a little car, so it handles pretty well. And, its pretty light too.
 
Nah, I went for my orginal choice of a Clio V6. I had an Elise too, but it wasn't as quick. It was almost two seconds a lap slower than my Clio round Trial Mountain. And about three round Eiger. Which is surprising, as the Clio seems to handle better than the Elise.
