Well, I'll be back in HK on July 1st, so a lot of grinding will be in order to get my cars…and that's just more good news, isn't it!
And what's this car? :D I have two cars which I'm very sure of, but the other……I'm not……

Yeah, grindings always fun! Luckily, I've been doing all the seasonals, so I have 19 Million Cr to play with, so money's not really an issue for me

And, I'm afraid I can't disclose any information on what that car might be :P

Unless it turns out to be crap, in which case, you're welcome to try it haha

I like the slight secrecy we've got here by just dropping subtle hints lol. Oh right, I've not got any 4WD cars in my list. I have an FF and a couple of RWD's.

Well, that could be a deciding factor, should the challenges involve a need for it…shame my car has a reputation for understeering like a pig…

Yeah, I can imagine. I presume my FF car will be the same, which is why I've always picked RWD in all the previous series'.

Well, I wont have time to test them properly until Thursday, so I'll see what happens then,

The difference is, if there's another drifting thing, I can gain some points by yanking on the hand brake to get the arse out, but the FF boys will just run wide. Oh the joys of not having the power going through the front wheels…

Yeah, that is very true.

It would be a bit unfair to set a drifting challenge if theres people running FWD lol.

What are you talking about..... Shhhhh I'm trying to find a RWD car.

meh, so ill be a bit low on the drifting... hopefully can make up for it in other areas haha.

damn, just had another car pop up.... cheaper.. and prob better..... ugh only thing is its a bit twitchy..........

the focus ST was only ever offered in europe, you can not even make a U.S. focus into a euro one(00-04, yes, 05-11 no) therefore, i class it as a european car, plus, its FWD, so what are you worried about lol

or maybe you should be....

The focus ST was also sold in Australia, they just took the ST badge off the back and replaced it with one that said XR-5.

But anyways, I figured I give this season a shot, went through a few choices but finally decided on a car in budget that I think should be comptetitive and am looking forward to the first event

So……any decisions made about the new problem with cars in the OCD being half priced? And if is it ok if I submit my entry a day later? I might need that day to get my car, as I'm away from my PS3 at the moment.

I can't speak for airrider but I'd be fairly sure that's cheating the idea of this. This is for fun and what's they point in using a car that's going to well overpower everyone?

id say ocd cars would be fine, but you have to double the price of ther car to match regular prices... i.e. you buy a car for 20k off the ocd, it would be just like buying a 40k car off ucd, and then will have 25k to spend on upgrades.....

Yea, but the OCD cars are normally full of expensive eye-candy, and it's verrryyy rare that you'd see a good car under 22,500 cr. I'm just crossing my fingers that the car I want is there waiting for me to pick it up (pllleeeaaassseee? :))

Eye candy's optional. I would be lying if I said that setting up the Photomode competition for June Muscle Strain wasn't fun, if it wasn't precisely a game-changer...

Well I'm not sure it's eye candy but I have just put the finishing touches on a lovely head turing car for this month's season. Best of luck to you guys.

I'm with you on this one. I don't think people should be allowed to buy things from the OCD, it should just be UCD and NCD only.

What was the decision you made on the Focus ST Airrider?

Um……where did he say that? And if he allowed that, then I can go and buy a Lancer Evo 8 MR FQ 400 or wtv because it was only sold in the UK…

Right... So we still don't know

Well, I've decided on my car now and its not an ST. I tried an ST and a Volvo S60 T5, but I couldn't cope with the under steer. I decided I'd much rather have oversteer so went for a RWD car instead.

Ah, wait a minute. It seems like there's discussion about this...hmmm. Alright, let's see about this. I'll let it in, holding you to your word that the ST is a European model of an American brand.

Well, it's a nice setup and all, but I'm looking for European cars this month.

allowed.... and the focus ST is a fully different car then what was offered in the states... C1 chassis as opposed to the c170 chassis offered in the states. in 05, europe was given a fully fresh focus, and the states was just given a re-hash(basically just engine and facial/interior makeover.

lol, my first choice was the bmw 120d.....

Fair enough then. I agree with Airriders decision that the ST should be included, as we said on the previous page, it is a completely different car. I was almost going to be running one this season, it was my second choice. That would have made for an interesting competition depending on how you have yours set up zombiebuggin.

I'll continue to monitor how things are turning out, as this IS becoming something of a weird point.

I'll hold out on the Evolution as...well, I'll be splitting hairs here, but the Evo series is a line that is more Japanese than European.

The European history of Ford cements it a bit better than the Lancer's history. There is a full-blown Ford of Europe, with its own distinct models such as the Anglia and Cortina which started as Ford of Britain.

So, remember this: your cars need to come from a manufacturer with a considerable history in Europe, if not originating directly from there. This is why models from Ford of Europe, formerly Ford of Britain, stay.

Also, it's time for me to unveil the Founder's Car, for which you will (maybe) be trying to match times with to gain an extra score. This month I'm experimenting with giving two extra points to the Founder's Jackpot winner instead of the customary one, to make it more of a wild card.

Besides, I'm a bit more confident in the layout I've got:

2003 BMW z4: 38600 CR
Aero Kit: 5000 CR
Racing Hard Tires: 15000 CR
Stage I Engine Tuning: 2500 CR
ECU Tuning: 1000 CR
Racing Filter: 450 CR
Sports Exhaust: 1500 CR
Catalytic Converter Sports: 500 CR

Total: 64,600 CR

And if it makes any difference, it's a pretty shade of Titansilber.
