Thank God the vacation is over I can get back to murder. lol
Way to double post, stranger! :P

I didn't think you'd sign up. You are official [GTP] now. :D
Of course, by the time I have internet again MW3 may very well be out. I just hope this job works out and I can get a place that doesn't suck.
I've decided I'm too old for this crap. I am done after MW2. While there are some really cool people I run into, like Vaus up there, for every one of those, I swear there are ten annoying or just plain disgusting people. Way these mother:censored: talk during lobbies, I really, really, really, really don't want anything to do with these people. I might(really big 'might') consider Battlefield 3. BF2 players tells me that BF games are more civilized. But again, it's a real long shot.

How sucky is your current place? On the second thought, I probably don't want to find out. :D

Edit: I forgot. I hooked up with VEXED & Icarus last night? There were some one red bar sessions, which were so bad, I was way passed frustrated, it was hilarious. And there were games that we all seemed to have 3-ish connection. As some of you know, Icarus is East Coast, VEXED is across the pond, and I'm on the West Coast. How could all three have stable connection? It was good times regardless, but more so with three bars for me. :D

So what's the worst you've met online recently? A couple days ago I had a guy on my team who was the typical annoying little kid, trying to act stupid and annoy everyone. What he was doing was pretending to show people glitches so he would lure them into corners and then trap them. They then had three options, kill themselves with a nade, get killed by an enemy or leave the map. He trapped a guy on sub base for almost the entire match. I don't know why the trapped guy didn't just leave. He left but I was on for a couple hours and got into a lobby with him later on and the kid was still doing it. I don't get how someone can spend all that time on a video game just to annoy other people. :irked:

The worst I had was an AT4 teamkiller. He would not stop, and he always found me first. I had about 10 deaths, and I think 8 were from him..

I'm sorry, but I see these guys as suffering from some kind of mental illness. Maybe they are naturally that way, maybe it was the way he grew up, etc. In real life, you have ways of distancing themselves from the crazies. But in online gaming....... who am I kidding? Crazies are the least of my worries. Let me put it this way, and if you are old enough to commute to work, or drive in traffic frequently, you'll know what I mean. In traffic, people act like 🤬 People are frustrated, many are in a hurry, and they feel like their time is more valuable than others'. I love going to NBA games. But even if you give me the season tickets, I couldn't attend every single home games. Because of the traffic. Am I making any sense to you guys?

Yeah, I see what you're saying. You even see that up here some. Look at the guy in the London riot thread who is trying to tell me that killing all the rioters is the way to go. :dunce: And people think we in the CoD thread are crazy..

I get this a lot, at least theres a "Nemesis KILLCAM" so you know who you've been killed by. But apart from that the Online Experience is very good. Not as good as Black Ops however imo.

I get you. Like in MW2, if someone gave me a tenth prestige account with my name on it, but there's a million of little ********* f-ing the game up, I would rather start fresh on another account, right? Or stop playing in general

I am not too big on MW3..like I have told many others who asked me about MW3, it is a rental. I will go on BF3 but Fighter Genre has me hooked for now.

@a6m5 No mater what game you play there is always going to be people like that. It's really said that people like that ruine online gaming. Brings a tear to my eye.

I play just about any kind of game there is and when it comes to the tards that sometimes come into games online I do my best to ignore them because they will do their best to take my fun away. I've been playing videogames almost as long as games have been around they will always be fun for me and now I have my kids to help with games. As for the Call of Duty series I was really let down by the online portion of BoPs but that is just an opinion from an old man, I still play it sometimes and I can only hope they improve to my standards with the next installment. Now as for the Battlefield series I have always been a big fan and in my opinion the two games should not be compared one game offers close quarters combat and the other offers long range vehicle warfare and I believe those to be two different genres I will be more than likely playing them both.

I mute all people with a microphone in every lobby I get into, as I doubt any microphone users are going to impart knowledge on the lobby that I could live without. It makes for a more enjoyable experience not listening to people rage, whine, and/or play music.

And also for the annoying 7 year olds singing through their mics is VERY 🤬 ANNOYING!

Some games where you do well, but everybody else is in the negative's frustrating.
First game I played today. I was the top player on my team with 23-12. A good score to me but we still lost. Why? The two bottom players on my team went 1-11 and 2-21. :ouch:

It happens.

BF2 games are ok, but I don't know that I like BF2 as a whole. I went out and bought it again but it takes so much more team work to get anything done you wind up losing more games than you win. Its fun for sure, but I'm not sure its your thing really. I will probably buy MW3 though.

My current place is my parents house. Its going into short sale soon and they're splitting up some time after that. They're talking about moving out of town/state and I'm not interested in all that. If I can stay on at this car dealership I should be able to find a place of my own before to long if I have to. I enjoy staying at home because I get to play with my younger brothers (10 & 15) on a daily basis but on the other hand there is lots of BS envolved here and there as well.

First off, team work is a bad thing? Hmmm.

Secondly last I checked a team has to win and lose every game so based on pretty much every probability law there is that would give you a 50% chance at winning each game. Because it takes more teamwork doesn't mean there is now only a 30% chance at winning.....unless I'm missing something there then that sir is a rediculous post and a rediculous reason to not like a game.

I think I might finally get to get on tonight, trying to help out with this group has taken a lot of my nights up lately. Hopefully we're almost done with discussing :).

My school schedule came in today too. I don't have a single class with my girlfriend or the two other girls we hang with. Hopefully taking all Honors/Advanced Placement classes will help out in the future, but I don't know how I'll fare with CoD time .

Less distraction in classes, isn't that actually a plus? :D

What are you talking about, you've always been big on fighting games!

I don't want to take anything away from MW3 though, we know very little about it. But again, for me, it's the people. Kids can get annoying, I get that. I was a kid once(bracing for old man jokes). But in CoD games, it's even the adults. It's like hanging out with really nasty, a-hole of Peter Pans. Who hangs out with them in real life? I honestly wonder about their real life behavior. :odd:

You are right, there will always be jerks. We will never run out of them. For me, it's about the alarmingly high population of these jerks you run into on CoD games. I don't know about tear to my eye, but I can't believe how they interact with others online.

I completely get what you are saying about teamwork. While it's very satisfying when you have it, when you are lucky enough to play with capable teammates, or your own clan. I'm sure it can be pretty disappointing when you don't have it, or those teammates to depend on.

Really sorry to hear about your parents. My parents got divorced when I was young, and really, I think you are lucky that you & your siblings are bit older going through this, as I believe older kids are able to adapt better to divorces. I thought I turned out completely OK, considering. It wasn't until I was in my 20's I realized how 🤬 up my early life was, looking back.

P.S. Move out of the state, man. After talking some gun laws with you, your state sucks more than mine. :D

Fair point on winning average, but I think there is merit to what Time Attack brought up. From my experience with Call of Duty games, ending up on teams made up of random players can turn out really bad at times. Teams with group(s) of players who are familiar with one another's game tend to play better playing together. And considering this was commonplace in Modern Warfare games, which didn't rely as heavily on teamwork compared to say Battlefield games, I think it says something. At least to me.

I do remember you from the thread discussing MW3 & BF3. Nice to see you in here man. :)👍

I just might stay true to the Genre. Those kids are the stereotypical care free A-holes.

I played a couple round with Vaus and Leo tonight, and only one word could describe my play: rusty. It was bad. Hopefully I'll have a few minutes to hop on tomorrow.

Well last night was fun I got 2 kills away from getting my first nuke. Gonna keep trying and yes I said first nuke I havent really tried for one until last night lol.

It's the [GTP] magic! We're like the Yankees, we bother people because we're so good. And ECU just got a mention on College Football Live, I'm so pumped for football!

You're right. I'm a one man army over here. I make **** happen with or without team mates. Silly me.

Yep. You can only go so far by yourself.

Doesn't matter much to me. It just means I'll have to pay more in rent soon. He was my step dad anyway.

P.S. Move out of the state, man. After talking some gun laws with you, your state sucks more than mine. :D

Meh. I still want a sweet rifle but my interest in guns sways more than my interest in cars. Seeing as I work at a car dealer you can tell what I typically put my money into.

My state is awesome for gun laws Lord help whoever trys to invade my place. but the draw back to where I live is the beer is only 3.2 instead of everywhere else having 6 point. and it gets pretty warm in the summers it was 115 the other day.

We're the only state to outlaw concealed carry for one. The liberal Chicago democrats thinks there is nothing more to the state because they never go past the subburbs. I really don't mine living here though, everything is close by. I've been to states where the next town is an hour+ away. Its maddening.

That said, if they start bringing their Chicago smog laws down state I might just have to go. I'm not dealing with having my car inspected yearly.

I can just see Vaus drinking & shooting. Why does everyone I know likes mixing the two.

I got basketball tonight, but I've been off MW2 two nights in a row, so I will try to get on later in the evening.

TA: Living in Oregon, I see people flee the Liberals. In the 80's, I was told that it was Californians fleeing to Oregon. Now it's becoming more & more clear that Oregon tries to emulate California in many aspects. You see Cal go bankrupt, and I think Oregon still wants to follow its' footsteps. IMO, when your state head more & more into socialism, if you don't like big government, you should seriously consider moving to another state. I just heard this week, this guy my coworker knows, he signed up with this gun club(shooting range) in Idaho. $15 for the year. All I can say is "yes, please".

All I needed for my License to Carry Firearms was a quick background check and $25. Everything got taken care of at the county courthouse in the sheriff's office. I was out in less than 30 minutes. It's good for 5 years, or if you get arrested or convicted or something, I forget how major the offense has to be. I don't carry as I don't have an adequate gun, but it's useful should I ever get stopped with my pistol in the car.

I went back to some other games I have for a change of pace, so I probably won't be on MW for a couple days or a week or so.

Well Tried for a nuke last night but got tired of trying when I got 2 away and everyone got their flower power and starting shooting fireballs at me. every guy on the opposing team ended up with either a rocket launcher or a noob tube. Why does no one try for skill anymore I mean lord forbid we actually aim in a game. No we have a bunch of Joe Dirts running around "I know we'll shoot fireballs at it" so I gave up on the nuke for now and decided to just run through another level of prestige.

Skill? What's that? So much easier to just run around with Danger Close, Commando or a UMP.

On a happier note I finally got the harrier emblem for calling in 50 harriers. :sly:
