Less distraction in classes, isn't that actually a plus?
I am not too big on MW3..like I have told many others who asked me about MW3, it is a rental. I will go on BF3 but Fighter Genre has me hooked for now.
What are you talking about, you've always been big on fighting games!
I don't want to take anything away from MW3 though, we know very little about it. But again, for me, it's the people. Kids can get annoying, I get that. I was a kid once(bracing for old man jokes). But in CoD games, it's even the adults. It's like hanging out with really nasty, a-hole of Peter Pans. Who hangs out with them in real life? I honestly wonder about their real life behavior.
@a6m5 No mater what game you play there is always going to be people like that. It's really said that people like that ruine online gaming. Brings a tear to my eye.
You are right, there will always be jerks. We will never run out of them. For me, it's about the alarmingly high population of these jerks you run into on CoD games. I don't know about tear to my eye, but I can't believe how they interact with others online.
BF2 games are ok, but I don't know that I like BF2 as a whole. I went out and bought it again but it takes so much more team work to get anything done you wind up losing more games than you win. Its fun for sure, but I'm not sure its your thing really. I will probably buy MW3 though.
My current place is my parents house. Its going into short sale soon and they're splitting up some time after that. They're talking about moving out of town/state and I'm not interested in all that. If I can stay on at this car dealership I should be able to find a place of my own before to long if I have to. I enjoy staying at home because I get to play with my younger brothers (10 & 15) on a daily basis but on the other hand there is lots of BS envolved here and there as well.
I completely get what you are saying about teamwork. While it's very satisfying when you have it, when you are lucky enough to play with capable teammates, or your own clan. I'm sure it can be pretty disappointing when you don't have it, or those teammates to depend on.
Really sorry to hear about your parents. My parents got divorced when I was young, and really, I think you are lucky that you & your siblings are bit older going through this, as I believe older kids are able to adapt better to divorces. I thought I turned out completely OK, considering. It wasn't until I was in my 20's I realized how 🤬 up my early life was, looking back.
P.S. Move out of the state, man. After talking some gun laws with you, your state sucks more than mine.
First off, team work is a bad thing? Hmmm.
Secondly last I checked a team has to win and lose every game so based on pretty much every probability law there is that would give you a 50% chance at winning each game. Because it takes more teamwork doesn't mean there is now only a 30% chance at winning.....unless I'm missing something there then that sir is a rediculous post and a rediculous reason to not like a game.
Fair point on winning average, but I think there is merit to what Time Attack brought up. From my experience with Call of Duty games, ending up on teams made up of random players can turn out really bad at times. Teams with group(s) of players who are familiar with one another's game tend to play better playing together. And considering this was commonplace in Modern Warfare games, which didn't rely as heavily on teamwork compared to say Battlefield games, I think it says something. At least to me.
I do remember you from the thread discussing MW3 & BF3. Nice to see you in here man.
