I just play here & there. I won't play for weeks, sometimes for months, then play several times a week maybe.......
Maps were indeed great, but MW3 I recently finally played weren't bad either. Never played either of the Black Ops. CoD4 was "the" start for me. I played CoD4 again last night, did fairly well with two yellow bars.
We had our [GTP] Clan for MW2, and we decided to set a night, see how we could go on team death matches. It was Brett, Azuremen, Icarus, RabiaEx, Time Attack & myself. I don't remember for how many hours we won in row, but we went undefeated and was just short of 50 match winning streak when we decided to call it a night. Some of us got back together & extended that for few more. That was fun, but I could barely hold the controller by the end.

Yeah, I miss the game. MW3 is good, but I can't stand the respawns and they need to chill with the death streaks. I swear they've just made it to where they will hold your hand and give you a free kill anymore. But yeah, last I'm I tried to hop on MW2 I played Wasteland and there were 3 hackers just dropping unlimited smoke grenades in the middle of the map and destroying everybody with aimbots. It actually looked really cool.

CoD4 was where I started playing too, it was the second game I bought for the PS3.
Do you get the problem when loading up CoD4, a screen that says - Confirm Yes/No - but you can't actually click anything? I remember getting that last year when I tried to get on for a few games and the only way you can get on is by disconnecting from the internet.
It's a bit of a pain having to go through the process each time you want to play, but at least we can still play it.
You're not missing much.
If you guys are going to organise a party sometime, I'd be happy to join in. I'm from the UK so I'll probably be on yellow bars most of the time, I'm sure I'll manage though, especially with a squad of GTP'ers behind me.

CoD4 was one of the games I bought with the machine to experience the next gen performance, and man, it did not disappoint! I just got it for the campaign mode & it was SO good.
I have never seen that error. Thank god!
When I played a few times with TheCracker form UK, I want to say it was almost 50/50 chance of going to U.S. or U.K. server.
I'd love to get a group together, but I think it's a long shot at best. I'll revive the CoD4 thread and see if we anybody still plays.

Does anyone still play? I haven't played in over a year now, probably. It's quite hard to find a good lobby when everyone has moved to MW3 and beyond. I still prefer MW2.

I've been playing a lot MW2, and without having much trouble in the random lobbies.
Plenty of people in consoles, I think. But half of them moved on. Still enough people to have some fun

I just got back into the game with a new secondary account. There aren't as many hackers as I thought initially, but I did stumble upon an XP lobby. Not that I'm complaining .

Was lucky enough to find a HC HQ lobby the other day, on Karachi.I'm on PS3.
All those high kill streak rewards......... Now I'd be lucky to get 3-4-5.
Was sniping with my M21 and OneManArmy perk (infinite ammo
)...Went back in one of the alleys to hide to use the chopper gunner.
Got to 22 kill streak with it, only to die from a tuber a minute later.... So much rage!!!
Almost my 44th Tactical Nuke in MW2. Yes I count them, haha.
Damnit.
Oh well, I guess i'm gonna stick to HC S&D, which is what I enjoy the most.

@Phoenix Yeah, while I hadn't noticed any hackers, there are tons of noob tubing going on.
I'd add you guys to play, but I'm getting motion sickness from extended playing(long story), and all I play is just normal TDMs anyway. You should see my K/D, it's crazy up & down. Some games I finish ahead, some I can't even come out 1:1.

MW3 is better at the moment, hackers are everywhere in MW2 to the point where you can tell who's a legit player and who is hacking. In the matches where there's no hacking going on, they quickly become noobtubing fests.
I'd play MW2 over any other COD anyday but right now the game just doesn't work, lag seems to be worse than ever as well.

MW2 on PC is nowhere near as many hackers as there used to be. Only encountered 2 or 3 in 2 weeks time.
Can't speak for MW3, I don't play garbage.

Given that MW3 is a MW2 clone, then MW2 is garbage as well, all I'm saying is that if I feel like playing a COD game, MW2 is the least crappy of the bunch but right now the game is unplayable.

MW3 is fun. MW2 was bat:censored: lunacy. There was that charm that only it had.
