Well, pretty bored, waiting for PSN to come back, so I thought of something new.

I went back to my post above, and edited some of the street circuits to have more sweepers and look more like an actual circuit, just to keep myself entertained for the 30 minutes before I go to sleep.

Based on my street circuit in Napoli, on the port

The one in Singapore:

And the very fast-looking Frankfurt edit:

I believe someone mentioned hometown gp earlier in the thread, however the link just takes me to a blank page, so I was wondering if anyone could post me a link to it, as I haven't found it through google/bing.

Thanks:)

It was probably just a promotion for something, and those are mostly for a limited time. It would be a good idea for someone else to pick up where they left off.

I tried to make a Helsinki circuit based on the old Helsinki Thunder design, but I couldn't find the section of the city where that circuit was based. So I came up with these instead:

Grand Prix - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4560131

National 'East' - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4560133

National 'Central' - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4560135

National 'North' - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4560134

Since I have no SketchUp skills, I drew out a few tracks onto paper... if anybody wants to see those, I'll try uploading them later.

Another Houston circuit, but I based it on the Indycar Series' possible return to Reliant Park. I'm pretty sure this was talked about earlier...

I have a track I designed on paper that I'll upload once I can get to a scanner. Sadly it DOES look a bit like the Nurburgring GP '02 circuit as done in slot car stylee, but it's not bad for a first try I suppose.

Edit: Actually, I might as well try using Google SketchUp, we haven't had a map like that in a while, and using CAD sounds quite fun.

I suck at using Google Sketchup. So for the time being:

Shanghai - Zhujiazhai Park Circuit

I just searched for Shanghai and tried to make a decent city course. Sadly I have no idea whether any of this course is actually road at all.

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

Just in case Bernie Ecclestone decides that Formula 1 needs a dirt track street circuit in one of the poorest countries in the world. Which he will.
