That's the best Prelude convertible I've ever seen.

How does it look like a Prelude?

When I look at it I see a mix between a

4th gen.

And a 1st gen.

I see more first gen. Even though that^^^^ was a one year only set of tail lights. The rest were different.

The redesign really took like 76 steps in the wrong direction. If the Camaro wasn't already a looker, it has now become officialy ugly. That thing is hideous. It's like what happened to the second gen:

But then blam:

I actually prefer the '76 over the split bumper. That's just me though.

Because the back end looks exactly like a final generation Prelude.

And the rear of the Prelude looks the same as the rear of a '66/'67 Chevy Caprice/Impala-

:sly:

What I was saying was that Camaro already has the truck design in the 4th gen. and the tail lights shape in the 1st gen.(only for '69).

Eww, that back end is hideous. The front looks quite nice, though.
I agree I still hate the rear of those cars. Especially the rear tail lights. Just terrible. Front looks good. Still hoping the sides of these new Camaros will eventually get the 69 bodyline.

Yes, just you out of all the population of the world, I'm sure.

I understand how popular the 2nd gen is. I do like the 2nd gen split bumpers, don't get me wrong, but I find the later models to be more appealing. It looks more complete in my eyes.

Yup, I now see the Prelude in the back.

Too bad, I thought the last gen Prelude was a good looking car. This, not so much.

Both the new Camaro and Corvette have the same problem (for me at least)... their rear ends look awful

That is a cracking lap and a great lap time, especially after considering the wet surface towards the end.

Is that bone stock? Sounds like they removed the cats or the muffler. The new Camaros usually don't sound like THAT when they are stock.

Exhaust valves, like on a Z06? Would make sense considering it's the same engine.

I'm at work so I don't have sound, but the 2014 Z28 does have the dual mode exhaust and some large diameter pipes.

I always forget how high the LS7 will rev, and then things like this remind me. I was surprised when he let it slip a bit when he came into the throttle after leaving the Carousel.

EDIT: I wonder how much PTM was being used there? Or if it was fully turned off?

I quite like the back of the Corvette, the front not-so-much. This is bad, it looks like they were gonna go for a bar tail light but then stopped at some point.

I think the Vette is fine, when you see one in person it works. This though...you cant have sharp edges at the front and then try to have a smooth shape at the back. It's like trying to morph a circle and rhombus in a nice single shape...good luck.
