Anyone have tried to change the date on PS3 to Jan 2013, see if anything happens ?

Could work...if you're offline.
If you start the game while connected to the internet, it connects to the server immediately, then getting the correct time and date of the server (regardless of your PS3 time).
Also, even if the car was programmed to be automatically released at a set date, I'm sure the game would have to communicate with the server first to verify that indeed it's the right time.
However, someone might be trying this right now and prove me wrong heh.

For a car nut, it`s cool to have the masked version. That`s how they do in the real world, so why not?
I would love to be a private tester for a car company... I will love to drive the masked version and have fun doing some "spy shots" on the ring.
Simple as this. Plus, it's different, no other game ever did it besides GT5P. I still use and like the GT-R black mask. Looks badass in matte black. Ninja style.
Plus, I'm pretty sure they have the full car modeled already. GM is just teasing us... I'm pretty sure it's a thing planned from the marketing department. Thumbs up for them... Give me 100 masked cars before release, it'll be fun to wait and talk about the secrets under the masks.

No it doesn't. We don't even know the details of its inclusion yet, nor can we automatically assume that they will put it into the game the same way that they did with cars in the past, so currently the only appreciation people can get from PD's effort is looking at the pictures of it in this thread.
No you didn't. You did a little game of wordplay, directly mocked a couple people and then acted like the matter was settled. And while that's pretty rich for you of all people to do that, you didn't do anything towards proving his "assertion" wrong.
If you could actually apply the concept of demonstrably false opinions to this situation, you already would have by now, because:
I would assume that the best use of PD's time would be not doing something that contributes directly (if you want to assume that this will be exactly the same situation as the Black Mask GT-R) towards something that PD promised they would tone down doing in response to people taking issue with them doing it. If that was the basis for him saying PD was wasting their time, his argument in practical terms is little different from when PD makes DLC versions of cars already in the game.
I'm going to keep this one for future use. Should come quite in handy any time you express an opinion about something PD decides to do regarding the direction of the series from now on. Because apparently if you aren't bankrolling it, you aren't allowed to say anything now.

We will be able to drive it the minute the people in real life can who paid $1000's!
It makes me want to play the game, still, OVER 2 YEARS old and still being added to with updates and DLC, what other game you still playing over 2 years old this regularly and are such a fan that you spend a lot of time on here, a site dedicated to this game!

One thing that have been wondering is...
Ok most cars that are coming out say any new car when they actually release they are dated to the next 6 months to the next closest year. I am wondering if when say ummm Christmas to January when the auto show hits. I wonder if the non-secret version if you will of the car will be released. And when it does I wonder if it will remain 2014 or 2013
