I'm sure the "This isn't freedom, it's fear" debate will be had again.I only hope that Marvel doesn't commit the error of making Iron Man looking like the super-antagonist. Anyone who read the comics know that's not true.
Oh, he was brilliant in Serenity, but I get the impression that he is very much an actor who chooses projects that are of interest to him.

Yes, in Winter Soldier between Nick Fury and Captain America, when Fury was discussing the new program to monitor all potential threats with the ability to take any one of them out in seconds. Cap was not pleased with the idea. There was a debate? Sorry, young guy here.
Spidey in this movie seems to be all over the place (from what I've read). First, not confirmed, and later on, a small role that won't really affect the movie. There are leaks of the new trailer that showed earlier at D23 (which I won't post), but let's just say it looks like it might just right the course of the Marvel ship after the disappointing Ultron. No Spidey shown, but that's not surprising.
I've read that he supposedly shows briefly in the trailer, flying in as Iron Spiderman that features in the comics. Probably worth taking with a pinch of salt though. No Spidey shown, but that's not surprising.
I think that's because it works pretty hard to be more than just a superhero film. The influence of the likes of Three Days of the Condor and The Parrallax View is pretty obvious, and it appropriates those elements to fit a modern concern.Cap 2 was one of the strongest films of Phase 2.
Will I need to watch all of the Phase 2 films before watching this? I still haven't seen Thor: The Dark world, Ant-Man or Age of Ultron.
