I just got a tablet, so here's a couple quick crappy sketches I did.

I use a Wacom Intuos3 and OpenCanvas (Multiplayer drawing app)

edit: here's another quick sketch, I don't like this one so much (yeah, front end has weird perspective and isn't very symmetrical)

edit: another crappy one, some kind of racing thing
ignore the random scribbles in the interior, my friend did those

Nice updates to the thread, Pico and Butt :)

Trico Pro, I really love the rear view (top left) of the concept car in your last post. Looks like something you could really build off. I think It'll also look great with some clear LED tailights... But that's just my opinion. 👍

As for the Webber drawing... I'm (Kinda) done. I still need to add in the background... but that will take a few more weeks with all of my exams beginning. So I've drawn in a temporary background until it's done. No use in waiting a few more weeks for a slightly updated version when I have something good already. I've also posted it in Deviantart, along with a few comments about what I've done. 👍

Hope you all like it so far! :)

Thanks very much! :) And thanks a lot for the Favourite.

I just had a quick peak in your gallery... and you've got some great stuff in there yourself. I'll have to check it out tomorrow arvo 👍

That is amazing. Makes my work look rubbish! Well done, get it framed once it's done, it looks fantastic!

never in 16 .8 years in my life have i ever drawn something so realistic, let alone be a pencil drawing.

Havent been drawing for years but i couldn't resist when I saw some of you guy's superb drawings! I realised pretty fast I'm not good at this but here we go anyways.

It's the Challenger Super Stock Concept (work in progress):

Hey! Its not that bad, I can tell what is which is the main thing! From the looks of it you have a similar drawing style to me so I'll be intrested to see what comments you get!

Thanks! :dopey:

The thing I'm happy about with it, is that I only looked at a picture of the real car (no pattern or any other help thingy) to draw it.
more like 20/10
Agreed!

I mean it looks like a photograph with some photoshop effects done to it! :scared:

I'm starting school again in some art classes so I'll probably get some drawing in too. I'm also inspired.

I've been doing art again since the first week in September, every piece of art I've done is car related so far. I'm fairly pleased with them, but they are nothing like the standards of anyone here. I think.

It's ok, practice makes perfect and while doing it have fun. Although, I gotta say it's harder than saying it. 👍

its very light, not much contrast, um when you draw the tires what i recommend is to not bevel it too much because it makes the tires extrude in a shape of a water tube, which i think is a little odd. Also, I think the rear wheel is depicted at an incorrect perspective.

I agree about perspective on the rear wheel, but otherwise I think it's okay. What dou you mean by saying the tires being shaped like water tubes? It's drag tires you know..

I started my picture today, it seems to be going fairly well. The proportions of the car don't seem quite right however I'll leave that for you to decide when it's done. I'm trying a new shading method on this, I usually smudge most of my shading to blend it all in together however on this particular piece I'm trying to just use the pencil to blend it in. It's more difficult but it seems to be creating a nicer effect. Who knows, this may be the picture which changes my drawing technique.

Thanks very much for the other comments on my drawing on the previous page 👍. Glad you all love it :)

@ Patrik: Very nice challenger you've finished drawing... It ended up looking very accurate, too. What type of pencils were you using btw? Maybe you could try using a 2B pencil for some of the more darker parts of the car (like the blue). Could end up with better contrast 👍
I'm going to pick a little on the rear wheel also. It looks to be facing towards the camera more then the wheel in the actual photograph... like it has more camber angle. Otherwise, thats really about it. Looks brilliant 👍

Is there any techniques you guys use to do your drawings?
As I found out in my last two drawings, using the right pencil and paper really helps you get better results. I've chosen thick (A2) paper with a good texture, and 5 different shades of pencils to draw with. Much more easier to include better detail.

Can't wait to check out your drawing.
