Ill be there tonight, I was hoping we'd run with weather change. I always wanted to drive a convertible in the rain.

Crap, I just realized that since this is a race car it probably doesn't have a cup holder for the Four Loko. My bad dude, I wasn't thinking.

Sorry to hear it. The lounge is open, come enjoy some Italia.

Had a spring sing to attend tonight. Should be back in action next Tuesday.

The Queen Shelby is celebrating her first birthday today!!! Ain't she one hot momma?

^One good looking dog.

On the subject of next Tuesday, what are we driving? It's still gonna be April though...

Not sure, if our recent attendance trend continues we might not be racing anything. Let's pencil in a premium Subaru for now, or maybe all of them. .

Running the three premium STI's sounds good if they can all find a common PP without one being overly detuned.

I think they're pretty close. I tried the 07 and one of the 10's at 455pp on CS and they were really close but it wasn't a thorough test. A couple of the Standards might work, would love to race a wagon. :)

Of the three premium STI's all are within a few PP if each other... If you wanna add even more variety and do a STI vs EVO month, that could potentially work as well... Here is the breakdown of the premiums bought new with just an oil change:

Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. SCP '99 - 469 PP

Lancer Evolution X GSR P.P. '07 - 466 PP

Impreza Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA '05 - 462 PP

Impreza Sedan WRX STI '10 - 467 PP

Impreza WRX STI '07 - 464 PP

Obviously testing would have to be done with all cars at 462 PP, or a lower PP on the same tire compound to ensure equality.

I've never been able to get Evo's and Impreza's balanced, maybe things have changed with the updates but Impreza's were always a bit faster. A lot of the Standard (street) Subaru's are of similar PP but seem to be slower than the Premiums when set to the same specs.

Hmmmmm, it seems my second statement may hold the solution to my first statement. If Standard Impreza's are a touch slower than Premiums then maybe they would match up better to the Premium Evo's.

Thats because Evo's cant hang with Subaru's....oh snap, yeah I said it. Seriously though another split month wouldnt kill anyone as long as people show up.

Torzilla is right, the Evo's tend to understeer a bit stock and have a hard time hanging with the Impreza's. What the difference is in laptimes I don't know.

I'm yet to drive an Evo since the update that made FWD cars less understeery. I'm gonna give it a shot.

Since next week is a bonus (fifth) week lets get the Capp RM out and give it a good lashing. Stock, of course. I'm open to recommendations on tires and tracks.

Sounds good. Before the update I had a 200 HP Cappy with the GSXR motor and a 7 speed. Man, it was a lot of fun!!!

Sounds good to me too!
I should be back in action this Saturday, with back being the operative word. Not sure who's been keeping my place warm at the back of the grid, but can I have it back please? :)

^ Who's this guy?? :boggled:

I won't be around tomorrow, heading out at the buttcrack of dawn to head to the SCCA Solo School and I'll be there all day. Nobody has been showing up on Saturday's so I haven't made guest host arrangements but if you guys want to work something out and still get together tomorrow feel free. 👍

I'm working tomorrow. As for the Cappy, I'd run it on some city course like Tokyo on some sort of comfort tire.

I likely won't be around tomorrow..ton of stuff to get done. For the Cappy, since it's a "mix it up" week, I'd suggest doing course votes, going where the wind takes us and having each new track an adventure!!

Tried a fresh Cappy RM on CM tires. Fun. Forgot how much that car likes to turn.
P.S. you might want to put Cappy in the title just in case ...

CM are about right for this car stock imo too. 👍

Hey everyone, haven't raced with you in forever. I'll gladly join in for some Cappy fun.

The ones I know have. Great game.

Played last night with a couple friends. We played for nearly four hours straight. Everyone loved it and couldn't believe they have never heard or seen the game. Crazy I was searching carnauba wax for something and ran across a link saying how to use it on your Crokinole board. I was like what is a Crokinole board. So that led to research which led to my purchase of a hand made quality board. Soo glad I did too. About to play a game with oldest son. :)

So you Canadians, have you ever played or heard of Crokinole?

Yes, was very popular here when I was a kid. The Farmer's Market in Waterloo has some beautiful handmade boards, I've eyed them many times but I doubt anyone would play with me now:grumpy:

Crokinole sounds like an amazing drinking game, I'm not really sure why I've been missing out all these years...
